Very near Kawaguchiko station about 7 mins walk. Very nice owner, very clean, neat and comfy bed. I feels very comfy to stay here, so at the end I stayed 6 nights here. Surrounded by all stores and restaurants. Sure will come back if I go Japan again. Rooftop is the best place to view whole Mt Fuji and relax, especially after Mt Fuji hike. Free bike no charge, one of the best.

Well, this is the place if you want to enjoy Fuji and all the hot springs around it. The guest house is just really fancy with all the amenities you need, plus Free use of bicycles!! They also have parking for people traveling by car. The house is managed but a wonderful couple that will provide all the help you need and more with local tips, food recommendations and hints to move around the area. I went with a couple of friends but next time will go with my family. I don’t wanna give anybody spoilers but, unbelievable Mt. Fuji view is guaranteed. Thank you very much :)

We had a fantastic stay here. The hosts bumped us up to a better room for free as it was available for the duration of our stay. There is also a free coffee machine for espresso each morning and free bike hire. The family that own the guesthouse even helped us to talk to the police after we had a minor bump in our rental car. The building itself is fairly old but they have spent a large amount of money fitting it out as a guest house. The roof terrace is amazing!

Nice place. The receptionist is very welcome. The room is clean and tidy. It’s budget friendly. They provide parking lot and free rental bike. It’s also has rooftop with a great view of mt. Fuji.

Glad that I discovered this hidden gem. 8 min walk from Kawaguchiko Station. Very peaceful and cozy place. You will get your exclusive Mt. Fuji view simply at 3F! It's basically a rooftop decorated as a private garden (they even have a small trampoline). The owner is super kind to recommend me nearby routes to explore with their bicycle, and most importantly, for free! Bedroom wise, it's spacious and quiet. The mat does soundproof a little. Keyless concept is so much convenient. The only part that may require some effort is the steep stairs to each floor - not a big concern for me though. I'd definitely come back again.

We are so glad we found Fuji Guesthouse AO for our stay in Kawaguchiko. The family is very friendly, helpful, and accommodating. They are very thoughtful, addressing all of the details for an enjoyable stay: free bike rental, a map of local recommendations, a cute cafe/lounge area, and a rooftop complete with hammocks and a beautiful view of Mt Fuji. They are conveniently located to the Kawaguchiko station, and we would definitely recommend for anyone to stay here when in the area.

Room were clean and spacious (larger than i expected), simple guesthouse but well designed. Not too far from station. Roof top was amazing. They also have bikes for free. The staff also very kind, helpfull and could speak english. We've got free upgrade to family room 😍. Very recommended !! Thankyou very much!!!

This place is delightful! Yasu-san is the most kind and helpful host, we could check out late Sunday afternoon which was so relaxing for us. Rooms and facilities were very clean and comfortable. The lounge with free coffee and bike rental was also a treat that we really enjoyed 🤗

I love this accommodation, They have the best Roof top for View, bicycle to lend for free, free snacks and helpful staff , best street view too!! I took the last picture just beside the guesthouse !!

Really nice place to stay, recommend you to book the room with fuji view, but if you cannot get that room, no problem you still can go to the rooftop to see the clear view of mt fuji

We spent two nights (double twins bed) and it was really great. The owners are so kind and helpful! The location is good and the bedroom is simple but very comfortable. And there is a rooftop with a stunning view on Mt Fuji Best guesthouse I have done so far

Amazing place! Stayed here before and after our Fuji hike. I would stay stay here again. The host is so incredibly nice, the room had a breathtaking Fuji view, you can use the bicycles free of charge and even snacks and coffee is free. + the rooftop terrace / hammocks offers stunning views (see photos)

Cosy & homely place, with a friendly and happy to help hosts. Complimentary Bicycles definitely makes the place a big positive. The view from the terrace is immersive with Mt. Fuji in the background. The Rooms are standard.

We were not able to book the twin room due to the peak season, had to stay in the dorm.
