So many layers of stationery and paper crafting, everything this planner girl loves. Excited to have been in this amazing location, even caught a specialty pop up of crafted leather products by riowa

Biggest selection of Christmas cards ever XD 12 floors of stationery! We failed to see the restaurant using the hydroponic lettuce. But it was nice to see all that color and all the stationery! There was only one elevator and it takes long to wait because it services all the floors XD

Itoya is a multi floor stationary shoppers paradise! Every floor has a unique class of items for sale. I will say almost a complete range. When you get to each floor, on the left you will find special services like making of wedding cards, gift wrapping, engraving…. Etc. They carry items and brands that are seldom found in other locations higher priced items are typically “Made In Japan” as the year comes to an end, Christmas and new years cards are placed on first floor and they carry unique designs of Japan at a affordable price of ¥220-¥380. There is a lift on each floor but expect to wait due to the high volume of people shopping there!

This stationary store is really great. They have so much more than you would expect and I ended up buying a bunch of pens and some different notebooks for work. It’s definitely worth checking out. They have an entire floor dedicated to art and calligraphy as well. Try to go when it might be a little less busy because it can feel a bit claustrophobic when there are a lot of customers.

Excellent stationary and writing materials store. Their attention to detail while testing and buying fountain pens is second to none. Put my money where my mouth is and bought 2 fountain pens here.

If you love stationary, this is for you. The main building I visited has eight floors of stationary, from office to home, everyone will find something one likes in the store. I visited around mid-August, and the first floor was my love - it’s full of merchandise from Disney’s 100th anniversary and some pop up artists’ works. The shop can be crowded, and they only have escalators going up. Need to come down by stairs or lift, so suggest not to bring a huge luggage with you. They also have an annex building showcasing pop up artists too. Overall, it’s a good place to go if you like stationary or want to pick some local souvenirs!

Amazing multi-level stationary mecca. An extraordinary variety of cards, notebooks, pens, crafts, art supplies, and many other things. A very extensive fountain pen selection. Can be very crowded as the place is a bit of a tourist attraction in itself.

As a stationery nerd this was one of the places wanted to visit the most on my travel. It boasts 12 floors and is one of the oldest stationery shops in Japan, but is actually 8 floors the highest floor being a cafe. Each floor is dedicated to a theme, I secretly imagined a haven of stationery supplies and expected more to be on offer but I’m sorry to say you could probably get most lines elsewhere. The store itself is small and access to the top is via escalator, the only way down was a lift which was busy or stairs that felt like you were in an office block. Being in Ginza it will always be busy but I wouldn’t go out of my way to go back again. But don’t get me wrong I still left with a bag of purchases and I would recommend you go at least once, they also offer tax free for vacationers.

A heaven for stationery and Art lovers. A must-visit for me every single time I visit this beautiful country. Every single yen ¥ spent here is not a single ¥ wasted but rather you’d wish you had bought more. Always in awe of the beautiful selection of products that they offer!

They have a huge variety of stationery supplies across 8 floors. The escalator only goes up. To go down, you need to use the stairs or use the elevator (be prepared to wait 5-10 minutes).

Super nice place for stationary. You can find nice stickers, cards, pens, notebooks, colors for artists (like pencils and copics) and tools for creative hobbies

While you may be a stationary lover, this store is for aficionados, especially those with a keen interest in luxury stationary products. 8 floors of stationary products ranging from pens, to crafts and paper. There’s something for everyone and every budget but I found that most products lean on the more expensive side. If you’re looking for affordable, inexpensive stationary items, stick to Tokyu Hands, Don Quijote, Daiso or Muji. My favorite service this store offers is the personalized notebooks. It’s such a special experience and I highly recommend it. You can customize your own notebook from sizes, colors, grids or lines, paper and line colors, A5, A4, B4, bindings! I can go on and on because that’s how extensive the customization gets. In order to take advantage of such a great service, you need a few days (2-3) for the completion. If stationary is your thing, I’d make this one of my first stops in order to fulfill the order in time. Great experience through and through. Even if you’re not in the market to buy anything, do stop by and marvel at the spectacular stationary store.

Itoya is one of the most beautiful shops ive been to that specialize in paper and similar products. They have 12 floors including a cafe on top, and each floor is an artistic dream. Floor one is basic, greeting cards and calendars. But head upstairs and you get to the real treat. Beautiful papers, note pads, envelopes, personalized stationary, bags, wrapping paper, craft items, etc.

Pretty interesting, especially if you're into pens, cards, crafts, etc. Some of the items are eye wateringly expensive though. i actually bought the leather book cover in the pictures and it's awesome. Not over priced either.

High-priced stationery but the selection is not as good as I'd hoped. The food and beverages at the cafe on the top floor are delicious and the service is very good, but they're a bit expensive. The ginger lemonade is a standout.

A great store if you're really into your stationery... It stocks everything from greeting cards, washy tapes to water colour, pens, specialised pencils, calligraphy pen nibs. A haven for stationery geeks. I stopped taking photos after the third floor.

I loved this place! And so would any stationery and paper lover. I think there’s around 8 or 9 floors (I can’t remember for sure) selling stationery. Each floor selling a different category of lovely items: Stamps, washi tapes, stickers, pens, notebooks and journals, paper. The basement was solely selling calendars and, oh my, they had hundreds of designs! I believe the basement will change it’s focus every now and then. I went in November. Each floor is very spacious and well laid out and not crowded when I was there on a weekday afternoon. Loved the Christmas decor too! Would be back here the next time I’m in Tokyo, even if I have nothing to buy. It was just such a pleasant experience walking around the store :)

Ummmm, it’s a 12-story stationery store. I can’t even begin to express how ridiculously excited I was to be here. There’s an entire floor dedicated to fountain pens. It was heaven. Beautiful interior and very kind staff. Absolutely coming back before the end of my trip to snag some pens.

Great place to explore and find out how detail they have separate all learning tool and materials. Only downside is the escalator is all the way going up, only lift going down but took forever. I would recommend to have a exploring and you will be amazed.

A must-visit for stationery lovers! I would try to visit this stationery shop whenever I am in Tokyo. 12 floors of goodies to browse, it would take you a while. They carry many items, from everyday things to more premium ones. Definitely something for everyone. There are toilets too, in case you take a long time here. There is another smaller Itoya shop at the back of this building. Do try to visit that too.

Multilevel luxurious stationary shop with products ranging from insane fountain pens to commonly used mechanical pencils. Lower range goods best to get from elsewhere as price is much higher here.

Very nice and big big variety of craft and stationery things. But the corridor are too narrow, the lift also too slow (>_<)

7 floors of stationary of all kind, plus a hydroponics garden. We spent quite some time here, you can find some nice things even for presents. Some magnets too, even office chairs.

Very nice place with several floors dedicated to stationary. The only thing we didn’t enjoy was when one of the staff followed and looked at us unpleasantly for couple of minutes - maybe she was trying to catch shoplifters. Knocking off one star for that.

Absolutely amazing stationary store in the middle of Ginza. With 8 floors, each having their own theme, I could easily spend hours here. A wide selection of paper and stationary, and the fountain pen selection was equally interesting.

This is a wonderful store filled with amazing lines of Japanese stationery, you can find nice things perfect for souvenir such as postcard, notebooks, pens, stamps and many more. There's a special section (floor) for gift wraps/box/bags that's not to be missed! Browse around this store and have a good time!

The oldest stationary store with any pen pencils or paintbrush you need for your enjoyment in Tokyo with the biggest selection and most helpful experiences staff. My favorite floor is “COLOR”.

One of the best place for buying a pen and handcrafted items in japan. Most of the product is costly, but it is beautiful to see and buy it

Really lovely Japanese style stationary and things for around home, exploring the 12 levels is very enjoyable. Full of unique modern Japanese designs and items however it is a bit on the expensive side. Highly recommend if you just want to browse but if you actually want stationary such as pens or paper I wouldn't recommend as everything is designer and not cheap.

Lots of Moomin merchandise here! The basement right now has a ton of 2021 wall and desk calendars and the first floor has new year's cards and postcards. Small selection of inks and stamps though.

My family's favorite stationery store. So many levels of highly curated items, grouped well into travel, home, fine papers and such. Our routine is to make time to go before Christmas to enjoy the beautiful seasonal decoration (this year's theme was skiing), adding charm to the space. Always check out B1 level for special highlights exhibition. This year was celebrating calendars but last year there were on point hands-on activities courtesy of one of the stationery brands. Exquisite experience.

Definitely the largest stationery store I've visited so far! Reminds me of art galleries and exhibitions. Has an extremely distinguished and soothing feeling to it thanks to outstanding floor designs and product layouts.
