This is my first that i give bad review because of hard working People.most of the time is vice versa. But here,i have come to recepti on,say(TWICE) Good evening, and I didnt get any reply.for 4 star hotel i didnt expect such arrogant behaviour of recepcionist. Plus, room was dead freezing(and its winter here),room was half way done, regardless the face that i leave room in correct condition. Just one smije, and reply on "good evening" will get this hotel 4 star minimum. Not recomended at all.

Very nice 4 star hotel. Standard rooms a nice and comfortable but for two people too small. The shower room is also small. But very clean and modern. You have a complimentary tea and coffee in the room. The minibar is full of different beverages- for a good price. The hotel has a well equipped gym and pool. And very good spa on the second floor

Very nice room, but a bit cold in winter time (despite heater set to max). - no heating in bathroom resulting very "chilly" feeling after getting out of the shower. - small TV with limited number of non Lithuania language channels - no socket for water boiling tap - no socket on desk for laptop + nice city view + comfortable bed + delicious breakfast with various options

I gave up trying to figure out the elevator and which building I was in. Too disgruntled to enjoy anything else after 30 minutes of trying to find my door. Post-reply: Agata, I would like to follow up with you on concrete examples of how you plan to make the check-in process less confusing and helpful? It definitely was not for us and we received no sympathy from your staff when we were in need of their assistance.

Hotel switches off cooling option for a winter time, thus even in April you can get a heated room with only a heating option (only warm air possible from air conditioning). I will just add that some of the rooms doesn't have opening windows. All this can lead to situation that you want to have 19 degrees in a room, but somehow you end up with 30+. You sweat and can't sleep. Be aware to ask if cooling is working and if not, to get room with an option to open the windows. Service was great, I asked for room change and get the one with windows opening.

Service good, but no revelations. Reception, for the large number of guests quite small. Room standard very pleasant, good, correct. Extremely complicated system of corridors and routes from one building to another. Breakfast varied, service average. No normal coffee at breakfast (instant coffee is not coffee).

Overall acceptable, but: 1. Day 1 - no room service because I didn't put "green paper" on the door knob. Day 2 - no room service though I did put the green paper on the door knob. 2. Shower without closing door means you have water all over the floor, and given there is no room service you have wet towels for 3 days. 3. Average food choice at breakfast, for example no porridge choice for breakfast. Good: good air conditioning, what is extremely important in summer time. Good location and there are parking. Nice view from the top floors.

The hotel is big, spacious, so the registration in one building, the rooms in another building, it's so uncomfortable. I can't give much information about the room, because I didn't stay long. But the hotel restaurant is absolutely nothing, wine is brought in a glass of water, everything reminded of Soviet times

Sehr gutes 4 Sterne Hotel!

Absolutely horrible. Awful breakfast - low quality leftovers from previous day and poor selection. Hotel infrastructure sucks, you have to walk 5 min and take 2 elevators to get to 'deluxe' room. Fridge in room was noisy over night, no plugs next to bed, bathroom had 2 square meters - literally hitting you knee as you get out of shower. Our key cards stopped working during 2 night stand, we had to get to reception to reset them. The hotel claims to have 4 stars, but I wouldn't give it 1. Avoid at all cost and avoid their sour coffee at breakfast, those coffee machines were never cleaned. 2 trip clubs and casino in the same complex defines this hotel's purpose...

The hotel is great. The breakfast is filling, and there are private jacuzzis and saunas in the SPA, as well as a gym that won't disappoint. I highly recommend it.

I stayed here 6 months ago in March, but now I’ve stayed in a competing hotel in Klaipeda I find myself looking back on our stay at the Amberton. The hotel is very dated. The carpeted rooms, the old and chipped furniture, the yellowing white plastic items in the room, the TV was like something you’d find in a bus. Had to plug the kettle in in the bathroom because there was nowhere else! The bathroom was by far the worst I’ve ever seen in any hotel - the water had to run five minutes before it was hot, and the shower was a dreadful handheld thing that felt like it was from 1990s. Black mould in the grouting, and slow drainage. Damp smell. We also booked a spa package with the room but weren’t told to book the spa treatment beforehand. When we arrived we were told there were no slots on any days of our stay, so we didn’t receive this treatment but also weren’t offered any type of refund. The staff instead told us it was our fault for not pre-booking. I resent the fact that I paid any money to this hotel and actually feel robbed as we didn’t receive spa treatment. The only good thing was the view. We will never return and I cannot recommend any part of it.

Hello, I came to your good country and hotel for 3 days short time work and I got sick in my first night due to your nonworking aircon. Your aircons do not work properly. Second day samething happened and I informed lobby and they solved the problem in a short time. But in my thirth day, same problem occured and I called lobby again. This time, they brought me a heater. I am working pyshically and being sick is very bad situation for me. Please give required attention to your aircons. Because people are coming from different cities even countries like me for work… We need to keep our health in good condition. Except above aircon problem, your hotel is perfect. Food, service and workers. 👍 💯 Thanks.

Worst experience ever, skip all Amberton hotels. Got stuck waiting for an elevator for 30 mins as it was always full. Filthy and worn down rooms. No hot water in the sink. Breakfast was decent compared to everything else.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at a fantastic hotel that left me completely satisfied with my experience. From the moment I walked through the doors, I was greeted with warm smiles and exceptional service. I would like to take this opportunity to share my positive review of this wonderful establishment, highlighting its remarkable features. One of the standout aspects of this hotel was undoubtedly the breakfast. It was nothing short of extraordinary. The spread was extensive, offering a wide variety of delicious options to suit every palate. From freshly baked pastries to a selection of seasonal fruits, from hot and hearty dishes to lighter fare, there was something to please everyone. The quality of the ingredients was evident, and the presentation was impeccable. It truly set the tone for a perfect day ahead. Another notable feature of this hotel was the spaciousness of the rooms. As someone who appreciates ample space to relax and unwind, I was thrilled with the size of the accommodations. The rooms were thoughtfully designed, providing both comfort and functionality. The furnishings were elegant and tasteful, creating a welcoming atmosphere. Whether it was the plush bedding or the cozy seating area, every detail was carefully considered to ensure a pleasant stay. One amenity that greatly enhanced my experience was the air conditioning. It was efficient and adjustable, allowing me to create the perfect climate in my room regardless of the temperature outside. This was particularly appreciated during the warmer months when returning to a cool and refreshing environment was a true delight. The hotel's attention to providing a comfortable stay was evident in every aspect, including this essential feature. Furthermore, the overall ambiance of the hotel was exceptional. The attention to detail in its décor and design truly impressed me. The lobby exuded elegance, with its tasteful furnishings, beautiful artwork, and soothing color palette. It was a pleasure to spend time in such a welcoming and aesthetically pleasing environment. The hotel's commitment to creating a visually appealing and comfortable setting was evident throughout the entire property. The staff at this hotel played a significant role in making my stay memorable. Their attentiveness and professionalism were exemplary. From the front desk to the housekeeping staff, everyone I encountered went above and beyond to ensure that my needs were met. Their friendly and accommodating nature added a personal touch to my experience, making me feel valued and cared for as a guest. Their knowledge of the local area and willingness to provide recommendations for activities and dining options were greatly appreciated. In addition to the impressive features mentioned above, the location of the hotel was also worth mentioning. It was conveniently situated in a prime area, with easy access to popular attractions, restaurants, and public transportation. This made exploring the city effortless and allowed me to make the most of my time during my stay. The hotel's location was undoubtedly a significant advantage and added to the overall convenience and enjoyment of my visit. In conclusion, I cannot recommend this hotel highly enough. The combination of a phenomenal breakfast, spacious rooms, efficient air conditioning, and exceptional service made my stay truly memorable. The attention to detail and commitment to guest satisfaction were evident in every aspect of my experience. If you are looking for a hotel that offers comfort, convenience, and a touch of luxury, then this is the perfect choice for you.

Hotel needs desperately a renovation. Bathroom floor was cold. Needed to wait hot water for long time. Room itself was stuffy and even conditioner didn't help. Water boiler was there but you had to move it to the bathroom for it to work since there was no sockets in the room to plug it. Breakfast was a big disappointment, low budget food.

Don't even dare to expect 3-4 stars. It has nothing in common with international hotel evaluation. My hollydays were riuned because of our choice to stay at Amberton. Instead of spending 4 nice nights we left after the very first. I could've spend hours discribing all fails happened here. But main points are: - You feel unsafe here. Some agressive guy in swimming pool could yell at you and your kid and noone will help, even camera's or administration. Checked already, don't even try. - very shabby, worn hotel. Photos were done ages ago - restaurants are overpriced for very avarage food, interior in there is very old and cheap. Aviod this place. Upd reply to Amberton You had all my contacts and I asked you for your assistance to solve the issue when I was at the hotel. But nothing was done.

I’ve stayed here twice. Some rooms in old building are worn. Of course rooms in high building are better and with nice view. I did not like I had to pay for entrance to swimming pool and parking. Anyway probably the best hotel in Klaipeda

Room was cold, heating does not work if you leave the room with your key card. From 3 lifts only 1 is working, therefore to get down from the 7th floor with my luggage and newborn child in pram I had to wait 25 minutes and see 7 lifts passing my floor fully packed with people untill there was finally space for me and my son in the 8th time the lift passed my floor

Even though the hotel building was a little old, in terms of having modern quantities related to a quality hotel, it receives full marks. The public and private facilities of the hotel were very good. The interior design of the room was very special, which of course made it a little difficult to use the room. In the room, you have to go up and down the stairs several times. The view of the hotel was very beautiful. The hotel restaurant on the upper floor was very good. The hotel staff was very friendly. The pool and SPA of the hotel were great. The mini bar was very complete. Breakfast was acceptable.

Nice place. Rooms in the tall building are not comfortable but in shorter one very nice. At least mine was ok.

We had a room with sea view which is really great. The room was not very big, but cozy and tidy, however a bit worn out. Enjoyed two hours of SPA, unfortunately we did not find slippers and chalats in the room. Breakfast was simple, but delicious and full. Overall good hotel.

You should ask/put the request on your room's door knob to service your room when you are out during a day. Otherwise - no service: cleaning coffee, tea, soap, etc.. Swimming pool is free for you only: 10:00-14:00. It is smart... and doesn't work for you in case of business trip during a working days.

Got a room for 2 nights for a special occasion. Overall somewhat mixed reviews. The rooms was alright, though it had one of the weirdest layouts I have ever seen in a hotel. The view was nice, bed was confortable, shower was ok. The biggest disappointment was the breakfast. Tiny selection and overall not that great tasting. Queue for waffles was really long - there was only one waffle maker. Overall, for the price we paid it was definitely worth it, considering that it's right at the city center.

Really good location, very nice restaurant Viva La Vita, helpful staff. However rooms needs a little bit of renovation, and paper thin walls you can clearly hear your neighbours. More of a business hotel rather than romantic leisure. But it also includes 2 free hours in East Island Spa where you can find jakuzzi, himalayan sauna and turkish sauna. No bathrobes or slippers though.. also really needed the heating rack in the bathroom after jakuzzi.. we were in K center so rooms were with this beautiful panoramic view of Klaipeda port.

Rooms are way smaller than they appear in the photos. Also there is 2 buildings and in the main building is super confusing took almost an hour to find a room, because there was no one to ask. Also the room has strange smell, probably as others said it's old carpets and so on. Breakfast, very little choice. Staff visibly underpaid.

The hotel restaurant and spa is perfect. The room was clean, but some things we didn't like: the bathroom doors is not closing properly, the tv is not in a good place. And it was a bit cold in the room. Conditioner didn't worked properly, but all in all it was a good stay. Staff was very pleasant and warm.

  • 2/5 Inga L. 2 years ago on Google
The staff was rude. The receptionists communication were mockingly. For the first time staying in the hotel were so many problems. TV is not working well, the quality is really bad. There's no Soundproofing at all, I can hear the phone vibration from other room. We paid for parking and still Parking barrier for my car wasn't working, i had to call everytime then i needed to go. At the breakfast I asked the staff something, and I was guilty for asking. And they didn't manage number of people at breakfast. It was full and tables were dirty. In the end our room card last 20min before check out stopped working. And again needed to call, and they never NEVER for any situation did not say sorry, or something like that. It was feeling like it is your problem, you are guilty for staying here. Ill never stay at Amberton again.

Hotel located near the old town. It was clean and cozy. Room was spacious with additional living room. Beds were comfortable. Breakfast was delicious and were brought to us into the room due to covid situation. Staff were either too busy or not too responsive. We ordered dinner and cutlery were missing, so we called receptionist and asked if we can go and take silverware. Receptionist said that they will bring it to us but after 50 minutes, receptionist called back and asked politely to go and bring cutlery ourselves as they were too busy.

They offer spa services, but there was no light in spa hallway, jacuzzi was as cold as swimingpool, turkish sauna was also cold, left after 15min . Lux rooom was poor, no bathrobes in the room( have to personaly call reception to bring it ) , price also too high for a place like this. Also, you can hear EVERYTHING thats happening in the next room. Mind you, room was in a new buding.

  • 2/5 Tianbucha K. 1 year ago on Google
We were put in the old building so the room is very old and not very fresh smell in the room. Otherwise they got the roof top bar access for the guests which is the tallest in Lithuania. The location is good.

  • 4/5 Tomas S. 1 year ago on Google
Mixed feelings. Very nice view, perfect location, nice personel, good food but very hot in the rooms where cooler just does not help. Good only when it is not sunny or less then 15 outside if sunny, otherwise room is unusable.

Very bad. Dont get me wrong, nice view and breakfast but that’s it. I have paid online from benefit through booking and they told me that they don’t see the payment and they CHARGED me from my personal card. No question asked, even when I was talking with them about it, showed them bill and email. Also hotel has four stars. I think it should be only 3 or 2. I’ve been in 3 star hotels that was more pleasant, nicer and had better rooms.

  • 2/5 Veronika W. 1 year ago on Google
The hotel as a facility is nice, well equipped, comfortable, great location. However, the service provided doesn’t correspond to the four-stars hotel, it matches to 3-stars hotel I would say. Our experience: seems the hotel didn’t count with our reservation, our room type was not available- we were given a room of a higher category instead for the same price, which was quite nice. But - first struggle with accessing the parking, car was not recognized even if we provided the reg. number. Then in a suite for four people, there were just two towels and we had to ask for more. Further, we booked the stay with breakfast but the hotel “forgot” about that and we were not allowed to enter the restaurant and had to discuss first at the reception (after that they allowed us to have the breakfast). Breakfast didn’t correspond to four-stars hotel level, not too many choices, was quite crowded. The last but not least, the room was not cleaned at all even if we followed the instructions (to place a card on the door between 9-16 hrs).

Disappointing stay here! The layout of the hotel... strange is an understatement! 3 elevators and several steps up and down to get from the parking lot to the room! The room was small, especially the bathroom. I am medium build but for big people even standing in front of the mirror to shave can be a challenge. The bed was okay but the pillows are terrible. Also the walls are quite thin, the noisy neighbors kept me awake for a long time, as did the outside traffic. The biggest disappointment was the breakfast: very bad coffee, very small glasses for juice and water and not enough of those either. Most of the warm dishes were in fact cold, even when they were just put in place. When I picked up a plate from the pile it was so poorly washed that there were still ketchup remains on it! The omelet I took was GREY! I will not return to this place again, despite the good location.

Stayed only one night, so I can't say anything about service, but room was neat and clean, comfortable, nice view from our room to the Dane and Meridian, supper and breakfast were great, we also lifted to the 20th floor to enjoy the view.

  • 4/5 Michelle V. 1 year ago on Google
good located Hotel with a beautiful View on the port/sea. We stayed only one night in this hotel and cannot say much about the service. breakfast was good and also check in/check out was smooth and fast. There is a parking place for 5€ per day which was really useful. rooms were nice and big. however the bathtub wasn't clean at all :(

  • 1/5 Vilma R. 1 year ago on Google
We will not return to this hotel again, the high price does not match the service provided. The bathroom is inconvenient, there are stairs in the room, the poor-quality scale was provided at breakfast, which was also cold.
