No social distancing in the boat. In place seats are next to each other. No boundaries. people it self doesn't do it. the staff does tell to put the mask on and keep the distance. But because no one is checking lots of people taking they masks off on the ferry. Not safe environment No hand wash anywhere, nor anyone is wiping the surfaces, after the people get off, as the other people are coming to boat straight after.

The ferry terminal in Smiltynė offers a swift and convenient way to cross to Klaipeda. The ferry ride itself is impressively quick, making it an efficient mode of transportation between the two points.

A convenient ferry to get to Smiltyne. This ferry only allows passengers on foot or on bicycles. There is a self-service terminal where you buy tickets with a credit card. One ticket is valid in both directions.

Enjoyed the comfortable ride, althought it was a lot shorter than I expected. The terminal was very easy to get to. Car parking is payble so be ready, best to use an app uni Park as it's hard to predict how long the visit on the other side will take you.

An easy to use little passenger ferry. Very cheap! Though if you have a car, it’s better to use the car ferry. It’s a bit of a hike from the pedestrian ferry to anywhere meaningful on the far side.

Quite attractive, renewed ferry terminal, to get on other side.

The place is scenic from an industrial perspective, the ticket terminal is intuitive and the at-the-spot cafe has good options regarding what would you like to eat while you wait for the ferry, which goes back and forth every hour. To help newcomers - you get a single ticket per person to go across the channel, that single ticket serves as your return ticket but that's not really regulated, as people returning back to the city from across the channel do so for free, without any tickets, so it's no big deal should you misplace it after going across.

Can get quite busy during summer. Cars go to the new terminal, this is only pedestrian bicycle and stuff. Tickets bought through the vending machine or in person booth is available. Payed parking is available but limited by space, look at the numbers board of free spaces at the entrance to the street. 10min before the departure should be enough during summer time to get a ticket and come in to the ferry. Ferry ride is also quite quick 10-15min. WC on a ferry available (depending on the amount of people using it can be quite dirty).

This is old ferry terminal of Klaipeda. Only people and bicycle riders are allowed to use this ferry. Ferry is always on time. To buy ticket self service and counter both are available. Ticket price for up and down trip both in one ticket. In ferry Terminal has one of the most popular restaurant of Klaipeda “Meat lovers”. It’s very near to Klaipeda city centre.

Very quick and convenient ferry from the main land Klaipeda to Smityne. The cost is the same with a bicycle or scooter. And kids are free. The price includes round trip. With departures every half hour it is really convenient.

Affordable Ferry. (1.1€ per person 2-way) takes you to a nice place, for a walk, or for visiting the sea museum

It's a pity benches for waiting are only close up to the harbour - you have to check your ticket in before you can reach them, and if you happen to just have missed a ferry, you've got another hour on your hands. There is a small caffè as an option with nice staff, but they ply music so loud it is nearly deafening.
