Amazing work done by 50 artisans over a period to create a very realistic garden in which every plant part is made of finely woven, stitched, hand-plaited coloured threads. Unbelievable!! I enjoyed the time spent here. In addition to the beautiful work, almost every exhibit has been tagged with a lot of useful information. The time spent to make this beautiful creation is indeed remarkable.

It is located in front of Tamil Nadu Boat House. It has no official parking space. With an entrance fee of ₹20/person and a viewing time of lower than 15 minutes, it is a must-visit. The place has national and international records with flowers are handwoven using threads. They nearly resemble the actual flowers. A guide is available inside who can explain in most of the neighborhood state languages which caught me by surprise. Sales of samples are available at the end but felt costly.

This is an unique garden comprising of flowers and plants made by artisans leveraging thread. It seems 12 years were spent to make this art. The entry fee is Rs 30 per head for adults and is opposite to Ooty lake. The guide elucidates the details in the language of your choice. Shouldn’t take more than 30 min to cover this attraction. Recommend to include it in your itinerary and you won’t regret.

Thread garden was made by Mr. Antony Joseph!! It took him 12 years to complete entire garden with the help of other artisans. The whole garden looks very real and natural that you won't believe it's made up of thread unless and until you feel it. Most unique garden it is. In 15-20 mins, one can cover the entire garden. Entry ticket is 30 Rs per person. Must visit place.its exactly opposite to ooty boat house.

A quick place to visit exactly opposite to the main ooty lake entrance. Entry fees are nominal with 20rs per person. You will find all kind of artificial flowers made from threads, copper wires etc. It is claimed to be work of 50 labourers over 12 years and is astounding to see. Very well maintained and a lady will come and explain in the language of your preference. They also let you touch and explore the work and understand how it's actually built. There is also a sales counter from where you can purchase few of these art pieces in different size, shape and colors ranging from rs 700, 1100 to 1500 a piece. Not to forget, there was some good music of 90's playing near entrance.

It was really worth a visit although to really appreciate it you need to examine the exhibits closer and in better lighting. It is sad that such exquisite art work has not received the attention it deserves.

This place is right opposite to the Ooty Boat House. After boating we came out and saw this place and decided to visit. The entry fee for adults is rupees 30. The guide initially explained us about the making and it's process. All the flowers here are handmade and it's taken 12yrs to make them. It's super realistic and does not feel like it's made out of thread unless you look at it closely. This is has got a few records due to its amazing work. Mr. Antony Joseph from Kerala is the man behind this Thread Garden. Worth a visit.

On display are beautiful creations made entirely with thread and paper. The staff give an introduction on how it was created and at the end there is also a section which is both a shop and a place to experience the materials in your hand. The garden is right opposite the boat house and the whole garden takes about 20-30 minutes to see

Must visit place! Handcrafted plays using 100000 meters of threads or yarn and the person behind building this got a Guinness world record for it. You can see the samples and feel them and you can buy some of these plants but a little on the expensive side but it will be a good memory.

The Ooty Thread Garden stands as an exceptional masterpiece, the result of 12 years of meticulous craftsmanship by 50 talented artisans. Spearheading this endeavor is Mr. Antony Joseph from Kerala. Every flower, leaf, and stem appears more perfect than the real thing, intricately woven, stitched, and hand-plaited from colored threads. Situated opposite the Ooty Boat House, with an entrance fee of 30rs, it's a minimal extra charge if you're using a camera—well worth the investment. A knowledgeable guide will walk you through the art, and the garden is impeccably maintained. A thoroughly worthwhile experience.
