Food tastes good but the opening times are too short: 11-14:00 only and starting from 1 there's barely anything left. Also way too expensive

Good idea and concept, poor realization. Canteen is located too far away from some faculties and is mostly overcrowded. Best time to visit: at 11 am as it starts to serve food (not much people and enough choice) or at 13:30 as people are not coming anymore (downside: almost no food left). Solution could be the extension of working hours to reduce the amount of people that are coming at the same time or rebuilding the whole facility as the crowds are way to big and the waiting time is far too long. Meat dishes are pretty high and have the following idea: vegan is cheap and always available, meat dishes are for rich students and people who are ready to stand in a line for a longer time.

Great food, unfortunately quite expensive for me around 4-7 euros a dinner (0.8 euro per 100g for students). Paying system is quite complicated, fortunately there's stuff there to help you. Although it shows the price for a guest it's not possible to pay without the student card. During rush hours it can get really full. It's possible to get some lunch untill around 4:30. All the spices and dressings are before payment so you have to dress your food without trying it. If one takes meat, it doesn't make sense to put any vegetables on the same plate since they're gonna be counted by the meat price. The food is diverse although the salad bar doesn't change much. Take out is possible for an additional 0.35 cents

The infrastructure is simply too good for a university. The amount of options available at a reasonable price are also nice. Fresh juices and smoothies, along with desserts are available with a lot of meal options. That being said, it's not a very good place to be if one is a vegetarian (no eggs and no fish). The pasta, and rice are mostly your only option along with salad. However it has happened quite often that the rice or the pasta is under cooked and thus not very nice. The vegan options are decent at best. Oh and almost all the staff members speak little to no English which is a major pain when coming here for the first time. And during the peak lunch hours (12-1) it's usually jam packed and most of the good food (like pizza) are already over by then, which is a shame.

Food is of high quality. Lots of choice, many meatless options. Very good value for money. The building is modern, friendly and spacious.

The new protein bar is amazing and the salad is always decent! (Paid €5,50 for the meal in the photo -- also got quite a lot of food today)

Food is good and cheap. You need to come early though if you want grill or don't want to wait a long time in line.

usually crowded, partly rude staff and not the cheapest Mensa compared to other places PS: it is not unusual that after morning of hard studies, you go to the cafeteria and get interrupted by the sweet noise of an alarm. You end up starving the rest of the day. good foundation for good studies. PPS: there is this frequent noise beeping in a high pitch all day - for weeks. it appears, they cannot fix it.
