The best food joint I've ever visited in Kumasi. Their meat and soup are very fresh as compared to the ones at Asafo market. Because their food is delicious, it's also expensive. I bought fufu. Their Ghc7 fufu is the same size with Ghc3 fufu at Asafo market. Visit the place when you need a delicious, healthy and nutritious local meal 😊😊

Terrible customer service. Was first to arrive at the restaurant but several people were served before me. Bought fufu and wanted a soup other than light soup but lady told me that is the only soup they have available, only for me to turn around and see the next customer walk in with a bowl of green soup and assorted meat. Lady had told me they only have goat meat. Ordered for two pieces of the goat meat only for me to discover that they were mutton, full of fat. The sad thing was after I complained, they were just sitting there looking at me. Soup was also tasteless, so after one or two tries, I just got up and left the food.

Being the home of the Ashantis, and Fufu being their staple food, you would expect that getting a good bowl of Fufu and soup would be no feat at all. It turned out to be a great ordeal. Yaa Serwaa chop bar had good fufu but their environment left a lot to be desired for which made the experience not as great as it should have been. However, pass by for some home-like tasting soup and assorted meat and fish at affordable prices.
