Easily identifiable location, next to SASTRA Univ. Nearby Railway station and new bus stand and new Bazaar. Ac and non ac dining hall. Not crowded but waiting time is there for ac hall. Good car parking. U need to ask for spoon, otherwise they will not provide. On week ends, holidavery crowded. A bit costly. Service is good.

Worst experience... The way servants are replying to customers is very rude..though menu card is not on table, servants are not ready to list out the menu more than one time... literally spoiled the mood Quantity of amount served for veg briyani is not worth for the money I don't recommend this place to have a peaceful food

Restaurant environment is good. Food is really good. Masala dosa, onion dosa, idly, idiyappam tastes good. Chutney and sambar is also tastes good. Coffee is also good. Restroom was not good. Service is good. They have Ac and non Ac dining.

One of the best Vegetarian restaurant !A decent place for dining.The place is very neat and clean, well lighted! We tried their Chilli Parotta which is crispy and excellent here ,Ghee roast which is served along with three different chutneys and atlast Podi Dosa where it is quite salty ,not upto mark ! And about Ambience, both outdoor and indoor a/c section seating area are beautiful and spacious.Staff Is polite and provides fast service. Price range is quite reasonable. Parking space is Spacious and available outside. Ideal for family, groups and kids friendly. Great place for quick bites. They offer takeaway too!

Outstanding restaurants at Budget prices. While at Kumbakonam, I had been eating terrible food ordered through a delivery app, at unreasonable prices. 22.09 to 24.09.2022. (Last year too, I had my lunch there with my family.) Food is tasty and delicious Sweets. Mr. Akash and Mr. Hari was available during my lunch and dinner on both days. Both of are very good and serve what is exactly asked for. Generally, all the staff's are helpful and good nature. We personally called Chef Elavarasan and appreciated for the food especially Sambar. Prefer AC hall for good experience. They provide great quality over quantity. Must try: phulka, roti, and Gobi gravy, onion podi uthapam. Service is decent with car parking facility.

Last week I happened to visit this Restaurent. Located very near to Kumbakonam Bus Stand, walkable distance. Hotel I have stayed didn't have Restaurent. So I had to go there. But once I had the food, I took my food here only for the next two days. They provide pure Vegetarian Breakfast and Meals. In the Afternoon, Variety Rices are available. All the Food items I took were delicious. Staff were friendly and Courteous. Rates are most reasonable. Hotel is always crowded and hence bit noisy. Otherwise, atmosphere was also nice.

Taste is good, more items available with veg meals. Good atmosphere. Here meals are only recommended. But cost is more expensive.

We went for dine in on the next day of Diwali. Almost all of the restraunts were closed. So much of rush in this place. We waited for table for 5 mins and ten minutes for taking order. But the highlight is their speed in delivering food for tables and the taste & quality they provide. Excellent management.

Visited this restaurant multiple times. This place has good parking facilities and its in a good location. They have both AC and Non AC. Service is good and taste is also good. Overall a good place to visit.

Since most of the people seek good ambience for food, they choose Balaji bhavan, but even though they have lot more space around with aircondioned. They make people to wait nearly more to 30min to occupy the tables.. even though their food Was good.. this is not the good way to treat people. Since there is no other big restaurants nearby people doesn't have any other way than reaching this hotel.. Who ever has patience can directly hit the hotel for good taste.. Please be noted : there is another space which is not aircondioned that is not with this restriction. But that is crowded too. Since this summer is very hot outside. we people will search fr ac restaurants. Thats the big drawback here...

Let me get this straight. The food here is very good. But I’m rating it a 1 ⭐️ for getting some attention from the owner (hope he reads this) The restaurant is extremely short staffed. There were only two people serving for over 15 tables (about 40-50) people. The staff are overworked and they cannot manage such a big crowd. They were still trying to do their best. More than 5 people walked out of the restaurant due to slow service. There was no issue with the food. It was very tasty. They have a very huge parking space. With the amount of people that come into this restaurant they should staff an additional 5 people to manage. If you have the time (and patience)and you are looking for some good food you can go here.

Hands down, best place for the meals! It's a family restaurant. Good atmosphere, and great service from Ms.Priya and Mr.Abinash. The meal(ultmtd) was 205Rs and man, everything was good. The waiting time to get to the table was around 10-15 mins at peak times. If I need to point out some things to improve it would be cleaning the table and chair as soon as or before people sit down to eat, please. And one more thing, please increase the size of chapati as it was 1/4 of a chapati 😂

Flys in the food , today is my second visit , I reviewed the 1 visit also it is in down I ordered chapathi , in the gravy flys is there Today staff were not responsible and not answerable, no body was asking sorry or not worrying about customer , even staff was saying hotel is like that only , you need to be eat in the house . Because of the staff I am going to send the photos to fssi team. Food was ok dosa is a small size for the price , porratta top layer is well cooked but in the centre part is not cooked. A very famous restaurant in Kumbakonam. About 1 km from the bus stand and 1.5 km from the railway station, this place is easily accessible. They have a big parking space. Food is very good. Try South Indian! Also, they have rooms for stay. Cost of food is very very reasonable. Cost for two will be about 250.

It is one of best option near kumbakonam Bus stand. We went there for lunch. For 120 Rs they provided unlimited tasty food. One of the best veg meal I had. Must try if you visit kumbakonam.

Cost of one meal is 110 INR when you are sitting on the Non-AC side and 171 INR in AC. Workers were sloppy and food taste was bland. Varieties of dishes was very minimal in Non-AC meals. Use of Ajinomoto and food coloring is profuse which sometimes brings an feeling of abdominal burn. However, They were have lavish amount of parking which is very difficult to find in Kumbakonam but security on the gate soliciting money. Yet, Never seen him guiding any drivers at parking.

A very good vegetarian restaurant in town. Their food was good, all the things we ordered were good to our tongue. But the service could be something that should be worked on, not enough servers that puts burden both on the servers shoulders and also makes us frustrated waiting for our food to arrive and also things such as being thirsty and waiting for the accompaniments, as to when the server would see our table so that they can be asked for those. You're better off reaching them getting up from your table rather than waiting for them to turn up.

Not checked properly on food .. When I went to eat at this hotel, a meal was sold at the price of 130 rupees, and when I thought that I could take a token and sit down and eat, there was a beetle in the meal they served. So I was upset in this lunch
