Everything was good. Rooms, location and service was excellent. Clean and spacious rooms. Located on main road with easy access. Spacious car parking. Breakfast buffet was good but restaurant needs to increase the variety of food available. Hot water was a problem in the morning. So 1 star less. Overall a good value for money. This must be the best hotel in kumbakonam. Will stay again here if visiting kumbakonam.

Nice hotel and restaurant in great location to visit temples. Struggle of congested roads inside the town is avoided . Neat and well maintained rooms. Tasty food compared to other restaurants. Both rooms are restaurant are a bit pricy. Nice and comfortable parking lot for cars.

I went here to eat, the place is very neat and organized. Staff are friendly and can allow us to change order without getting angry. But when I went here, less food options but nice. Got watermelon drink but asked 2 (1 a lot of ice and other less ice)

The only family restaurant in this highway to Vadalur. The staffs were really helpful when we dined. We stopped by for dinner and the overall experience was good although we didn't get a chance to eat anything other than idly

Good food. Only good restaurant on 200 km stretch. Don't hesitate to stop here. Quick service even if you go with exceptional food items. Loved the promptness. Courteous staff. Must try Tea ... they offer good variety. Neat and clean, functional washrooms.

Checked in the hotel for an overnight stay. Shajahan was very friendly and he ensured I settled in quite comfortably and even though late night, arranged dinner for me. Morning breakfast was yummy and sumptuous. One would never regret staying in this hotel, and yeah do ask for Shajahan to get delighted.

We stayed for couple of days. Its a very nice hotel. Rooms and rest rooms are neat and clean. Those inter-connected rooms awesome for big families. We really liked it. Restaurant food was tasty. Overall, it was very pleasant stay.

Dear Friends, it is my true feedback . I was stayed in this hotel four days from 23rd july to 27th july 2023. The location and room is really good. But the room service is not up to mark. 1 .The Plate which they are serving coffee food items etc it is really horrible it is so dirty.2. The Coffee cups and steel items which they are serving it is not cleaned properly. Lack of supervision with respect to restaurant. 3. The Bath room tiles are granite , carefully should take bath otherwise ......... Senior citizen should be take care inside the Bath room. Requested hotel management to put food mates inside and outside the Bath room also. KRISHNAN

You will get good unlimited complementary breakfast from 7AM to 9:30AM. Rooms were very clean. Plenty of parking space and very easy access to National Highway. Outside view from building was fantastic.

We had a pleasent stay at the hotel. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The staff here were very kind, polite and helpful. The hotel is located at a very prime spot which makes it easy to plan for trip across various places in and around Kumbakonam. They provide complimentary breakfast. They also provide in room dining services which has various menus for selection There are various ancient/ historical temples each of it has its own unique fascinating history.

Giving a honest review so that it might be helpful for others to experience the best experience. Firstly, I’m giving 4 star review and not giving the extra start because of the awkwardness or hiccup created by the front desk before checking out the hotel, except that I had a great experience. 1) Location - 5/5 best location and easily accessible to any place in Kumbakonam 2) Rooms - 5/5 i got the suit room, it’s big, tidy, clean and looks great for the price. 3) Restaurant at Hotel - 5/5 good food 4) Service or Front Desk - 3/5 this is where I was bit disappointed with their service. To elaborate more, they have snacks in the room called mbar and during my visit they didn’t put any snacks in the room but they have asked me to pay for all their mbar standard snacks. I paid for suit which is 12k and I don’t mind paying 500rs for snacks but if I don’t use I don’t pay it, as simple as that. It took forever for the front office receptionist to understand that I didn’t use it and they didn’t put any snacks in the room. I was disgusted by this - He made the maid boy to check the trash for snack wrappers as he didn’t trust me and it all happened in-front of the customer. This is really annoying thing I had to go through at 5:30 am. For management - Please make sure you have placed your snacks in the room before customer checks in. Don’t repeat mistake what I went through. If this repeats again you will loose customers.

Such a worst hotel ever seen... Restaurant workers busy wasting their time.. Food was total disaster.. Never ever recommended.. Very very poooooor service.. Not worth the price charged.. Only advantage is it location and parking facility.. Pls don't prefer this restaurant especially..

I had booked a room for 8th of December 2023 that is today. I had booked for 3, however we ended up with 4 people as it was decided in the last moment. The executive at the front desk told that it cannot be allowed and we did agree to it since it was our mistake not to inform them prior. However, the arrogance they display is completed unacceptable and was stating that everyone from Bangalore comes for Temple only and we are too busy for it. We were almost okay with their conditions but due to his arrogance we decided not to take up the rooms. To the owners .. please educate your staff on how to speak to customers. You chose to do this business for customers and learn to respect them first. You are not doing any charity to us. I have booked this hotel a couple of times but somehow, the service is pathetic in the recent days. If you don't change your attitude towards the customers, then the doomsday shall begin soon I will never book your hotel going forward!!.

If you are looking for good food..then this is not the place. This is not the regular A2B or Vasantha bhavan type restaurants...where you get every kind of dinner. Here you will not get poori / Chole poori / chappathi type food for dinner..its only idli/dosai of low quality(compared to other 3 star hotels) Food items very costly.. 2 parotta for 100 rupees. (Looks like parotta prepared in the afternoon for dinner) This restaurant is only for the people who stay there..to serve little items. Better you go inside kumbakonam town to have better food. Two star for hotel cleanliness.

The ambience is calm and good. But no hand rails for disabled path and it's very steep. The cost might be affordable at 6k, but not all could afford it.

As we did not stay in the hotel, the review is only about the restaurant. The food and ambience is good and they keep it clean. Service is good, Have a plenty of space for free car parking.

We usually go for dine in at the restaurant. Very neat and clean ambience, humble mannered service people, mainly food are tasty and hygienic. They takes time to serve tiffin items, because of order to cook method. So we can get fresh and hot food out there. Overall good restaurant in Kumbakonam for vegetarian cuisine.

Overall hotel is ok. Rooms are big and clean . Hotel is nice as compared to others .breakfast buffet is very limited and should be improved. If you have anything beyond what is offered you will be charged this could be basic stuff such as black coffee , black tea , dosa et . So only eat what they offer and don’t ask more. Service by employees could be improved everything u touch and ask is money and chargeable. The lobby area is super stuffy even though they have Aircond and ceiling fan .

One of the finest hotels we have stayed in recent times. On the highway, clean and very well maintained. The restaurant is also quite popular and serve good food. Highly recommended for families

Had stayed here about 2.5 yrs ago....quite convenient for visiting Kumabakonam temples. Rooms were ok for the price. Visited the restaurant recently while passing through Kumbakonam....place looks a bit dull. Service could be better. Choice of menu...limited. Couldn't pay through card as they had wifi problems...got unnecessarily delayed!

This hotel is located in outer by pass. You must have a car and convenient for self driven people. Service is very good. Rooms are spacious and neat. Air conditioners and bed are ok. Toilet is just OK. Needs some more detailed cleaning. I recommend.

Rooms are good and clean. Breakfast taste was decent. However, all the plates and cups were not cleaned properly at all. Every single plate and cup in breakfast buffet had some kind of stain from previous use. Reduced star mainly because of that..,

Madhanam Inn was a great hotel. It perfectly satisfies its 3-star statement. Prices are decent and the accessibility to the restaurant is also a key point. However, some minor tweaks here and there.. The bathroom towel stand was not fixed firmly. Nevertheless, the hotel was great, view was nice and I personally enjoyed my stay there.:

Hospitality and food were very good. My kids and my parents really enjoyed the lunch. We had lunch at this hotel.. the hotel staff were very humble. Hotel is an amicable place with good ambience. This is one of the good place.

Food taste is good but, can't say awesome. Price for the food is acceptable. Waiter service was too poor. They did not serve in time any food. They served one by items with long period of gap. Waiting time for each order was taking long time. Quantity of gravy is so less for parotta and naan.. They did not offer additional gravy and they did not care after serving. Some waiters needs more training and they should improve their behaviour while talking with customers. They could not manage even low crowd customers. Customer satisfaction is too poor. I felt worst experience while dine in. They couldn't fill our hungry in time and quantity. I felt the severs was running only for VIP customers. They should not treat the customers with partiality between VIP and non VIP customers. At the end any customers are going to pay the bill and tips. Restaurant Atmosphere was nice. I felt premium while entering the atmosphere.
