Great spot to dine near Panangad. Gives you a unique dining experience, sitting close to lake listening to the motion of the water. Entire restaurant is set up with bamboos, on the shore of the lake on a swamp area. They have ample space to seat more than 40 person at a time. The lighting setup is too good and sets the mood for a romantic dinner at night. Had beef roast, kappa biryani and Paal Kappa and all lived upto the expectations. They have a small drum where they have kept live fish and crabs meant for cooking. Only Con is the parking area which can be challenging when it is crowded.

The service is good, the food is good and they have a nice atmosphere to chill out with friends. Perfect option for weekends and gatherings.

Ambience is pleasant and small set up. Easier to access from the kumbalam highway toll road. If you would like to get the ambience i had in the photos, then you must visit after 6’ oclock. Sunset sky and backwater view will be there. Many different seating arrangements. Food varieties are currently limited and average. May improve on the go as they just started ~ told by the owner of the restaurant. Good to try!

We ordered the prawn and also the duck. Really tasty. Service time was good, and the service was also really nice. Too bad the crab was not available— as it actually looked so tempting. Also, maybe the management should prepare some menu (whether printed or on-line) with some pictures & explanation in English — because the resto has big potency in having some international tourists as the guest. All in all, ‘am a satisfied customer. Keep up the good work!

It was a nice experience with middy mangrove restaurant. Their food was really yummy. The ambience made us really happy and nature friendly.Also their behaviour and service for the customer was appreciatable. It is a wheel chair friendly resturant.

We visited Midday Mangroves two days ago.This restaurant near to the backwaters isa heaven for the seafood lovers. A must try place with a beautiful ambience ,live fishing and Chinese fishing nets ..The staffs are really courteous and all the food items we tried tasted great.. Recommended dishes : Paalkappa and fish curry Njandu Peera Tharaavu roast Chemeen vada
