Fenced off dog park next to a man made irrigation pond. There is a nice sandy beach on the east shore. Perfect place to visit during the summer months when temps are triple digits. Water is nice and cool. We've been several times with kids with no issues, but keep in mind this is irrigation water and dogs also swim in it. It isn't stagnant tho so there hasn't been any algae build up. There's a portapotty that's usually pretty clean. Covered picnic table as well. Update: Kids have gotten swimmers itch here, seems like it's worse close to the shore. I haven't gotten it but I'm not sitting in the water like they are. With that said, we still go there.

Great place to take the dogs them to safely run, part, and socialize. It was suggested in the reviews that the dog park has "ruined it" and that they've only seen a couple of people use it. I'm not sure how it is ruined, unless you are just against dog parks in general. It is being kept up nicely, I haven't heard of any problems created by the people or dogs using it, and it will gain in usage/popularity as me people become aware of it's existence and location. MY opinion is that is was wasted PRIOR to the installation of the dog park area as it was just open grass that I never saw anyone utilizing.... The suggestion that they should have left it because there are keen fields behind the park that are just a good is not a responsible one. Random open fields are not an option for responsible owners. They are not marked for public access and, depending on who owns the land, it would be either in violation of the leash law (if public land) or trespassing laws (if private land) to turn dogs loose to play there. The brush would also make it too difficult for owners to reliably locate and clean up waste in addition to significantly increasing the risk of ticks and other threats. Cheat grass can be a danger, dogs with long coats get the dried vegetation snarled in their fur, and more. Dog owners should also be responsible and proactive to keep this area nice and safe. BASICS: Pick up after yourself and your dog, keep sick and unvaccinated animals away, only bring a dog that is friendly and can be controlled while of leash, and keep up to date on immunizations: Rabies and Distemper for sure, but Bordatella (aka Kennel Cough) is also recommended.

Very nice park, not too crowded! Also right next to it is a great dog park. The grass is kept nice. There is a small dog park and Large dog park. I'd be careful in the large dog park there are some plants that are hurtful but overall great park!

The lake/pond there is great! They have a sandy area and covered picnic areas. My kids love the water and it was clean. There are large trees for shade as well

Great park for dogs. The neighborhood kids swim in the pond during the summer, but there are a lot fowl and canines that love to bathe in it too, so... user discression advised. Nice beach that dogs and kids like to dig in. There are 2 small covered pavilions and a portable latrine.

Great park with a lot of great people who bring their dogs. Spacious, fenced in, has a large area for big dogs (or little dogs who think they are big 😉) and then a smaller fenced area for smaller ones. Well maintained, the city is quick to repair any vandalism. Could use a bathroom. Overall a great park.

Lovely dog park with 2 gated areas, ome small one large, benches, poop bags stations, beautiful grass and clean. It will be fantastic to have more shaded areas but overall the area es great and doggies can a have a fabulous time there.
