This place is so cool - trees look like cauliflower or broccoli. There is a small water falls here. Own vehicle not allowed.

The place seems to be like somewhere else. The beauty can't be captured by camera. A good scenery.

You have to take safari to come to this shola, its like the trees in this forest has a cauliflower look of its canopy. The safari costs 250 per person from the Avalanche lake view point check post. There is lot of waiting time..but depending on the timing that you come if you are lucky and no landlsides in the safari route you can go safari but expect a waiting time of atleast 45minutes

It's a beautiful place in the middle of the forest, Shola Forest - Tress on the hill resembles neatly arranged cauliflowers. You will be able to see a small water falls behind the view point.

I have heard much about this place but we could not proceed beyond a pint as the road had got slippery due to rains and there was an impending danger of a landslide. So we decided to turn back, missing this awesome place. Our driver was all praise for this place as he says this is a great experience with minimal tourists and larger greener lung space for a relaxed outing. Plastic is banned and one should be extremely careful not to litter the place...

Lovely place, nature's delight, can be seen only when you go inside the Avalanche Forest. I call it a Broccoli Shola as it resembles that vegetable most. I request the visitors not to throw any plastic material into the forest area when you visit this beautiful place.
