We came into Hidden Valley Caravan Park for 2 nights and are staying here indefinitely. Beautiful green grass, trees and gardens. Facilities very well maintained and always clean. Pool fabulous. Staff very patient and helpfull. Best of all not overcrowded or squeezed in like every other park in town. Just lovely and peaceful.

We are currently at the caravan park and have had a lovely time. Booking on the phone was very friendly and we were assured that our van would fit. It did, but only just. Facilities are very clean and the park is quiet. Any time I have been to reception, I have been looked after very well and with a smile. I like the fact that it’s a little out of town and feels safe. The only issue is that the sand on the road is very soft, so we had to use 4wd to back our van in as we were sinking. Aside from that, it’s a lovely older park with friendly staff.

We were booked to stay one night. But due vehicle problems we had no where is to stay in kununurra as every where else was booked out. The lovely ladies in the office said to come straight back and put us in a long-term stay. The only problem is the caravan park need to put up gates around and ropes put up at the entrance with swipe cards or spikes on the ground to stop the theft of cars in the caravan parks and more security lights around. People staying at the caravan park, lock your caravan doors, even when you go off to the toilets. Never leave it unlocked. I can't believe people not locking the doors and one person I spoke to he was woken up 2am and luckily he saw the male and he took off as he had his keys and wallet on the table. Also keep windows locked.

Absolutely an amazing place! We stayed with our van at an unpowered site for 18$ per person per night. Lots of shade. Lots of room. Not busy at all in end of August. Stunning hiking trails in Mirima National Parc are directly accessible from the campsite. Also heaps of birds around. A really cool place in nature πŸ’š

Don't be put off by the resident caravans as you enter the park. Drive on by and out the back - GRASS - very clean amenities - very functional camp kitchens - good water pressure - quiet clean and relaxed pool area - nature walk out the back gate - this is a Hidden Gem in Kununurra - discount rates for seniors πŸ˜‰

We stayed 3 nights in June in the unpowered area. There was plenty of space, lovely surrounds, and lots of water taps. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. We also liked being well away from main roads, and enjoyed a nice quiet stay.

Amanda and Blake thank you for being so accommodating to us for our stay with you. A smile and friendly service goes a long way. Lovely grassed area with shade on powered site, close to clean amenities with HOT water showers, and laundry area. The pool was fabulously relaxing during the day. We’ll definitely be staying here again on our next trip!!

One of the cheaper park options in Kununurra and you get what you pay for. A lot of powered and unpowered sites, mostly unshaded. The larger grassy powered sites (with very good water) are toward the rear. We lucked a powered site under a tree. Once toward the rear the roads can become dusty and a pain when windy when dust became a problem. Pool water was clean but the pool bottom itself was dirty. Needed a good vacuum. In fact, the whole pool area was in need of maintenance and could be considered a health and safety risk with the steps into the pool broken and jagged and the green matting surround ripped and missing in one long section upon entering the area. Two large, clean amenities. Two other smaller amenities were closed "for the wet season" which was strange seeing it was only the end of September. I gather that now most of the crowds have skedaddled south, it's not cost effective to have to clean the extra blocks. Fair enough. Two Backpacker Kitchens (signed as such) toward the rear plus a Nomad Kitchen (no backpackers allowed). The park nestles in-between what is a considered a mini Bungle Bungles, and very picturesque. A pity the tired appearance of the park lets it down, but as I said, you get what you pay for. Free van storage. Gas bottle refills. Dump point. Drive-thru sites, will suit very large 5th wheelers or buses towing a car.

Background: We are seasoned Australian travellers that booked a cabin at this park, one year in advance so that we could attend the Kununurra Ord Valley Muster. We chose this park based on the fact it was quiet and had a great pool. We paid $140 a night for ten nights. We had an awesome time at the muster. We experienced so much. Unfortunately this park did not consider its muster guests. They chose to close their pool during the muster. They did not advise any of their bookings that they were doing this. When questioned on arrival I was told it would be filled next weekend. Then they had a little laugh when I informed them we had chosen the park for the pool and because it was warm. They obviously didn't understand that I will swim on 20 degree days. No compensation was offered. Also note that staying longer then a week does not attract a weekly rate. You have to stay 3 months or more to be considered. The following weekend arrived and I asked about the pool as some other staff had been working to ready it. The reply was an indignant one from the same person who checked us in. It won't be ready for up to three weeks as the council has to inspect it. And now to the cabin we booked. Have a look at the pictures. The cabin requires a good strong clean and renovation. We have stayed in better for less. The pillows need to be replaced. They are not pillows. Fortunately we had our own. The interior is cracked and the veranda requires maintenance The reception hours are limited but you are not informed this when booking. Have a look at the picture of the published hours. The park was extremely quiet. Very few tourists, probably due to the bridge and flood earlier in the year. It seems to contain a fair few permanent residents. Some of their facilities are amazing whilst others appear to live in run down vans and annexes. Albeit we did meet some friendly, considerate staff. Amanda was just amazing. I would give her five stars just for her service and friendliness. She was even prepared to drop us off and pick us up from the muster if we didn't get our car back in time. Sadly she was only in the office once. She needs to be given the office job full time. Be aware that this park does not have anything for children to do. The park is quiet. The park is green. Your experience may be different to ours. For a start the pool will probably be open. Hopefully the owner renovates his cabins too. Cheers.

Nice shady caravan park with plenty of space. Clean facilities. We intended staying 3 nights but ended staying 5. It's a big park with several camp kitchens and toilet blocks. $42 a night. All good Jim

It is quite pricey, the (male) toilets need definitely an update. The staff makes people aware of the fact that mugging is quite normal/frequently happening at the campground but they are not willing to address or solve the problem. Better choose one of the other places for your stay!

We stayed here for a couple weeks as a family looking to live and work in Kununurra. The hosts Amanda, Mark and Michelle were so courteous, understanding and welcoming. The views and walk into Mirima are stunning (especially in the afternoon), the park itself is surrounded with a feeling of 'oasis', the amenities are a bit outdated but I didn't see much problem with this. I actually liked the 'outdoor' amenities more as I could fit a whole pram in it with room for kids to wash around my feet 😊. The pool is great with a 'baby pool' area! Kitchens were really only BBQ and microwave so make sure you have options. I use to walk the kids to school and shops from here (although not suggested if you're not into over 1km walks in the heat lol). We also felt much more secure/safe in this spot compared to our last caravan park in this area. It was a win! Would stay here again if I was travelling ! Such a lovely park. Love from the six kid family!

Loved it here, quiet shaded sites, pools great and the staff are super friendly. The owner even went well out his way to get our kids some fresh coconuts downπŸ‘πŸΌ. This will be our go to going forward. clean, safe, and great people.

Beautiful cabins, clean, self contained and every amenity working in great condition. The locals at this caravan park are quiet but active which makes it feel normal away from home. But Kununurra has amazing scenic views, walks and sights You Must See.

Super friendly and helpful staff, as it has been for many travellers we had a breakdown, not only were we welcomed back but the staff recommended a young mechanic who fixed it in the park and we were on our way. Fantastic service that you don’t see in many other parks. Clean amenities, nice pool and hoses going to keep the inevitable dust down. Thank you all 😊

Staff, atmosphere, amenities, park, views the list goes on. Clean, tidy and good showers. So important after a day out or on the road.

Great caravan park. Nice big pool. Good place to pass through but also to stay a bit more permanently (worker). It is a quiet place with a beautiful view on the Mirima NP.

Lovely campsite with lots of greenery, set between Kelly’s Knob and Mirima National park so beautiful views either side, especially when the sun sets on the rocks. Path going directly from the campsite into the NP. Recommend the large unpowered grassy sites at the back. Ablutions clean and good shower pressure.

Right next to a national park, right next to Kelly's knob and right next to people who wanted to steal your car πŸ˜…. Washing machines were hopeless. The pool was lush and the showers were always warm. We asked to be moved to somewhere less busier as we had a yappy dog and they sorted us out which was nice. Affordable.
