If you are a person who loves books, writing, nature, architecture, peace etc please visit this place. Entrance fee is 10 / person. You can hear Kuvempu's poems inside the house. It is a museum made of Kuvempu material. Taking pictures is strictly prohibited inside the home but you can take beautiful pictures in the garden outside.

Kuvempu's house is magnificent. We'll maintained and offers a life changing experience. Photography and videography is banned inside the home. Add it in your must visit list. 🤩🤩 And if it's raining while you visit, it's like cheery on the cake.

The house of a Great poet Rashtrakavi Kuvempu where he spent his initial time of life they have displayed old things used in a house and also his achievements & certificate the place is wonderful and calm. It's open from 9:30 am to 6:30 pm all days of the year No taking pictures or using a phone inside the house Entrance fee is 10 rupees per head My suggestion to visit the place would be during October to December as the place (malenadu) will be cold and great weather

People who read kuvempu can experience much higher levels of the atmosphere. Located within deep woods the house has been maintained by the locals is just another thing. Most of the sites are eye soothing, moreover needless to say, the house, the calmness, everything just like written from a poem.

Very well maintained. Entry ticket is available and no photography allowed inside the house. Inside of the house is very well maintained with a lot of things to see. Usually crowded over the weekend. Visit either early in the morning or little late in the evening.

Kuvempu Kavi Mane, a literary treasure nestled in the serene village of Kuppalli, Karnataka, is a place that encapsulates the essence of the renowned Kannada poet Kuvempu's life and work. This review captures the aura and significance of this iconic place. -Kuvempu Kavi Mane is a haven for literature enthusiasts, serving as both a museum and a library dedicated to the life and works of the legendary Kuvempu. -Upon entering the premises, visitors are transported into the world of this literary giant. -The quaint and well-maintained house where Kuvempu lived is a time capsule that preserves his personal belongings, manuscripts, and an array of awards and honors he received. -It's a deeply humbling experience to witness the room where this poet laureate composed some of his most celebrated poems. -The library is a repository of Kannada literature, boasting an extensive collection of books, both written by Kuvempu and inspired by his writings. -It provides a tranquil space for reading and research. The museum also features various artifacts, photographs, and interactive exhibits that narrate the poet's journey from a small village to the pinnacle of literary success. -The beautifully landscaped garden surrounding Kavi Mane is a tribute to Kuvempu's love for nature. -Visitors can enjoy a leisurely stroll through the garden, which is adorned with his poetry engraved on stones and the famous "Akka" (elder sister) statue. -The Kavi Mane experience is not only about the physical space but also the intellectual and emotional connection it fosters. It's a pilgrimage for those who revere Kuvempu and an opportunity for others to explore the rich world of Kannada literature. -The caretakers are knowledgeable and passionate, eager to share stories and insights about the poet's life. In conclusion, Kuvempu Kavi Mane is a must-visit destination for anyone with an appreciation for literature, poetry, and the cultural heritage of Karnataka. It not only honors the memory of a literary giant but also inspires future generations to embrace the beauty of words and nature, just as Kuvempu did.

A must visit place and very well maintained. One ticket costs 20 rupees per person and photography is not allowed inside of the house. There are so many rooms showcasing their achievements, medals, their books and once you enter inside, you'll get that nostalgic feeling of how people lived back then and how was their lifestyle and everything. The surrounding environment is also so good and it's magical . We went on weekends so there were too many people and that's it. So I recommend this place 5/5.

Kavi Mane (House of the Poet) It’s an iconic ancestral of Kuvempu, located amidst the dense forest. It is now converted to a beautiful Museum with no photography/videography permission. One just have to pay Rs. 10 as entry fee and it is open from 09:30am to 06:30pm. Recommend to visit between 09:30 to 11:00 in the morning or post 04:00pm.
