Kurukshetra Panorama and Science Centre is a unique Centre that combines science with religion. The main attraction of the Centre is a life-like panorama of the epic battle of Kurukshetra that showcases Mahabharata war with scientific explanations justifying every episode in the war. The magnificent two-storied building of the Centre has cylindrical walls. The Centre has an interesting exhibition called 'India: A Heritage in Science, Technology and Culture', consisting of working and interactive exhibits on ancient Indian concept of properties of matter, structure of atom, geometry, arithmetical rules, astronomy, medicine and surgery. Most of equipment are not working..

This is really very special place to be in. You have plenty of interesting experiments to experience. Though not very big, this serves it's purpose of generating curiosity in minds. I loved most of the experiments. Most experiments are based on the ground. At entrance you have to buy a ticket of nominal value. For science lovers, you need to keep aside at least 3 to 4 hours to experience this place. Don't rush as this is the place for experience and not just viewing. 3D room was not operational. Rest rooms are clean and neat. Sufficient parking space.

While we were driving down to this place nostalgia kicked in and drove us to our school days. This was the perfect destination for a school trip. Once the jewel of kids eyes has now lost its sheen. Most of the things were not is working conditions due to poor maintenance. But still we enjoyed like a small kid and especially when we had our own kid with us. Very reasonable price of 50rs per person.

A Good museum to spend at least 2-3 hours in kurukshetra.. The best aspect is it is very educative – consisting of various science models that are interactive and hence enable a school student to visualize in practice various Science principles that one studies in the high school science courses. The whole theme is superb. On the first floor we can see sculptures belongs to Mahabharata war with sound effects and one will surely enjoy. Different kind of mirrors on ground floor is full fun. Moreover location is good. It is located in the center of the kurukshetra city, near Bhrama sarover.

Good place for budding scientist/curious mind. Some equipment need maintenance. If you had entertainment in mind, this is not for you. Rs.50 entrance fee and additional charge for shows. Be there before 4 pm for shows.

the Kurukshetra Panorama & Science Centre offers a blend of cultural and educational experiences. Visitors interested in Indian mythology and history, particularly the Mahabharata, can appreciate the panoramic painting and gain insights into the epic. Meanwhile, the Science Centre provides an opportunity to explore and learn about scientific concepts through hands-on exhibits and displays. The Kurukshetra Panorama is a large circular hall that houses a panoramic painting depicting the Mahabharata war. The painting spans 402 feet in length and 25 feet in height, and it provides a detailed representation of the battlefield, including the armies, warriors, and key events from the epic.

Most of the equipments are in good condition. However, some needs regular maintenance. The display of audio video exhibition of Mahabharata on the first floor is phenomenal so do not skip it. Given so many people visiting the place they should also have small eatery for basic food and beverages as there is no good place nearby to eat.

It's a nice place just need some renovations. Wish they restart the 3D movie show and repair/replace broken games. You can give it a try for refreshing and Innovative experience. A recommendation to bring young kids. Ticket is 50 rupees for adult and 10 rupees for kids, mentioned they have h certain height criteria for consideration as kids. Or if you are coming on school trip you can also get tickets for cheaper

It's a beautiful abode for the young minds who are beginning to cherish the wonderful world of science. An investment of this magnitude by the government is a testament to the fact that the future lies in the next generation embracing Science as a way of life & thinking. The Panorama is not just a hall full of experimental models. They conduct classes one electronics, model making and computer sciences. I loved them as a kid. I encourage any parent reading this to pay this place a visit with your child and help him explore his curiosities & the wonders of Science. A big thanks to the wonderful staff & members of this great institution. It's more than just a building. It's a beacon that let's everyone knows our country's passion for Science & progress. Jai Hind.

Kurukshetra Panorama and Science Centre is a unique Centre that combines science with religion. But strangely " So Most of equipment are not working.. " Even the 3 D FILM ZONE is totally closed. When I visited in 2019 it was so good experience there. Lets come to the best part about the place, the Main attraction was Mahabharata war with scientific explanations justifying every episode in the war.The Centre has an interesting exhibition called India A Heritage in Science, Technology and Culture. It has working and interactive ancient Indian concept of properties of matter, structure of atom, geometry, arithmetical rules, astronomy etc.

A place worth visiting by all.The place highlights the Mahabharata war on the first floor. Each phase of the war from the first to the last day is very beautifully on the walls and also by sculptures. On the walkway there are electronic pads strategically placed describing the scenes displayed. The ground floor has a very good science museum which can be understood by all as each exhibit is beautifully explained in writing .One can also try some of the exhibits first hand.Great learning experience.

  • 5/5 JITENDRA C. 1 year ago on Google
I liked the place a lot because the whole ground floor was full of science experiments, musical instruments and many more. The one thing I liked is that the experiments help a lot to practically learn those things as when we can get a demo of each experiment. The upper floor was full of the Mahabharat. The way the Mahabharat is recreated using art is immensely mesmerized. I will share some of the photos and videos also of Mahabharat so people can get a glimpse of what is there. There is a car parking lot also so don't worry about where to park but it's a paid one so don't forget to take a ticket of parking which you get while taking entry to the museum My suggestion would be to at least visit this place if you are planning to visit Kurukshetra place. You would get great knowledge and peace 😊❤️ Thank you so much for reading this review and have a nice day😊❤️🫶

Our visit at the Panorama and Science Center was quite pleasant. It displays the historical culture of India, provides students and science interested people with amazing and easy to understand experiments, as well as the impressive panorama on the 1st floor. It's great for students and young people. The small entrance fee is not a problem for the experience you get. The only negative thing to say about it is that around 1/5 or 1/4 of the experiments need some more attention and care or should get repaired/replaced.

4 stars⭐ for overall museum experience + 1 star ⭐ for a special top floor 3d model auditorium hall displaying the mahabharat battle. It's a must to visit this science center (especially for kids) if u ever visit Kurukshetra, and just in 2 minutes walking distance, there is the great Krishna Museum on the right hand side too. After you enjoy all the models and science displays in this science Center, DONT FORGET to visit the Mahabharat battle auditorium hall on the top floor in the science Center. It will literally take you back in time at mahabharat war. I have shared a video of the hall here that you can see 😉 #HareKrishna 🙏

Best place to spend the weekend. This is a well arranged place where you can understand the whole Mahabharta visually in one go. The science museum is very nice place to go with the children. The museum also contains the historical equipment, study material and many fiction items. This is a fully Air Conditioned place.

It is an ocean of knowledge and fun. You see our daily science phenomenon through simple objects. Also, there is mention of historical things. There is one 3D movie room inside it but purchase separate tickets. On first floor, there is panorama of Mahabharat war, excellent it is. Must visit if u are in Kurukshetra, also see nearby Shri Karishna museum.

The Kurukshetra Panorama & Science Centre was founded to display the influence of science on the religious beliefs in India and situated next to Krishna Museum. The ground floor is utilized for showcasing interactive science exhibits that highlight the amalgamation of technology with traditional Indian culture. The ancient Indian advances in science, including Indian perspective on the structure of the atom, properties of matter, arithmetic, geometry, medicine, surgery and astronomy are demonstrated. A lifelike panorama depicting the epic battle of Mahabharata is installed on the first floor and the uniqueness of this display lies in the scientific justifications provided about each episode of the encounter.
