Dr. Roshan Dassanayake( surgeon) who works in room no 108 was the worst and hot tempered doctor I ever consulted in my lifetime. I and my family members used to get treatment from sethsavana hospital since we know about this hospital. But we never had a experience like this. He was not like other doctors. He is not kind to his patient and doesn't want to listen to his patient. I have a stomach problem so that I consulted him 4 days before. His behaviours towards me was very very poor and rude. He never allowed me to talk about my problem. When he was check up me (when he pressed my stomach) I had a pain in my right side I tried to tell this to him several times but he didn't allow me to tell. Eventhough I was trying to tell my problem he shouted at me very nicely. And asked me to go for scan and endorscope.after I had scan and again went to him to show the scan report. Again he treated me badly I really got disappointed by his service. I request to sethsavana hospital staff who works in reception please do not recommend this doctor for any person. Because you know him very well. Don't do this mistake again because not everyone has money to waste for a doctor like him. His service Was really really bad. He is not giving free service no. Unhappy to say something bad about private medical sector according to Sethsewana hospital Kurunegala. Most of the middle class and poor people who suffers with different diseases , very hardly spend their money to private hospitals for the best treatment and support to cure the disease and they believe in the doctors they consult in private hospitals more than going to government hospitals, unfortunately now a days private sector is very bad rather than government sector. They keep the patients wait for hours and hours to consult the doctor, some nurses behave like they own the hospital and unkindly, more over the most qualified doctors not treat the patient properly, not listen to their problems regarding the disease. Not all doctors and nurses there, someone very good. But there are some others also. Most of the patients return unsatisfactionally. Some time it's felt like government medical sector better than private ones. A kind request to all private hospitals like Sethsewana, Please provide the fair service to the poor patients at least for their money.

RECEPTIONISTS ARE USELESS AND THEY LIE TO YOU WHEN THEY MISS THEIR JOB! I made an appointment to meet a Dr. and they said he would come at 7 am. I hired a vehicle all the way from Narammala to meet him an reached there at 7.30 as my number was 16. When I went to the reception they said dr had already left as he started checking patients at 6 am. Moreover, they started lying saying that they called me several times to inform that Dr would come at 6 am and my phone didn’t respond. My phone is on all the time and I hadn’t got any missed call or any alerts. Those girls ruined my day and wasted my valuable time. Will never recommend this hospital to anyone hereafter.

Very poor service the worst palce in kurunegala i have experienced. No vehicle park. Staff is not friendly to get a work done by minor staff we have to pleade them Even though they charge rs 10,000 for the room no soap no toilet papers. Very bad customer service. The receptionist didn't even notice me for like 10 mins. And some nurses and staff members act like they own the place. We pay these people thinking it'll be better than the government service but it's even worse.

Very poor procedure on discharging. Took a long time after all the tests and monitoring has been done by 3.30pm. Instead of discharging they put me on a room because they can charge more money on unnecessary things. Doctor supposed to come before 5.pm but now its 9. pm still the doctor has not come. I stood up against them and finally agreed to discharge me. Its more than an hour they have not even given me a bill. Still waiting. Worst hospital experience ever. Never come here for anything.

I got an marvelous experience in the Seth Sewana hospitle.They welcomed us wormly and guided us kindly.But there was lack of parking space .That was little trouble to visitors.They always practice the guide lines which provided by health ministry to prevent Covid 19 corona virus.

DR. Rasika bulathsinghe (gynecologists) is a person with kind hea arted.it's very rare to find a doctor like him. He is very kind to his patients. I'm really had a great experience 2 days before. He is the best doctor for endoscopy. He treated me very carefully and kindly. I'm really appreciated his service. And I'm very thankful to the madam Nadee who works in endoscopy section. She is very friendly and very helpful. Thank you so much for your service. 5 stars are not enough for your kindness.

23 June I called no one answered the phone...!!!

My experience at this private hospital was absolutely terrible. The doctors and staff were shockingly unprofessional. They even provided incorrect doctor arrival times to patients. I had a 4 PM appointment, but I ended up waiting until a frustratingly late 6:30 PM for the doctor to finally show up. It was a complete waste of my time. What's even more infuriating is their response to this outrageous delay. They sent a casual SMS as an apology after i arrived to the hospital at 4PM, which felt completely inadequate. There was no face-to-face apology from the doctor or a sincere acknowledgment from the hospital. It's as if they couldn't care less about the inconvenience caused to us, especially when we've spent over two and a half hours waiting. In a nutshell, they treat patients as if they were beggars. I strongly advise against seeking any medical care at this place. Find a hospital that values your time and treats you with the respect you deserve.

The worst private hospital service ever experienced. They dont provide at least minimum care. Specially attitude of nurses are really poor. Government hospital staff is far better. Staying first and last day here in 3rd floor, till tomorrow morning due to the bad mistake of staying here. Not recommended. Service is un acceptable. Pathetic. Made an appointment for Dr Sunthereshan for my mother in law , when reached we were informed that all no' have been booked. They are only allocating 30 no's that's also only for payments. Nothing was informed to us in advance about the payment or the no of patients will be 30 max. The no given to us was 86. Many patients including us faced the same issue on 23.09.2023. Management should immediately take action for this and should educate the channeling staff to give accurate information to patients to avoid such unfortunate incidents in future. Please be mindful that these are patients you all are servicing. Finally with many efforts made , talking to the hospital staff we were able to get an extra appointment. Few patients returned who came feom far away places. Really disappointed about the service.

Kurunegala Nawinna hospital is a very bad hospital, please don’t go to this hospital for any situation. If you need to get medical treatment please use another private hospital or Kurunegala government hospital. Don’t go this hospital. They need to know how to respect the customer (patient) because we are pay money to get medical treatment and consultation. This hospital treat there patients not like a human. If you need to get bad experience this is the best place. And the doctors aren't come to right time. They said come 1300 and they come 1600.

Worst experience. OPD Doctor (lady doctor) did not even check the temperature or even used her stethoscope to check heart, lungs or intestines. We expect doctors to check body before writing prescriptions/ medicines. And this is for a 4 month old baby. DO NOT RECOMENDED this place for Out Patient Door (OPD) treatments. I do not know about inhouse channelings.

I had to face a terrible experience because of this hospital. I am a sailor by profession and I needed to do a PCR test to get to work and samples were given on 9th August. I received the report on 10th August and it was stated that I was Covid positive. I personally know that I was very careful because I was going to work and I didn't leave home for any work due to this situation. I also had a suspicion about this as I didn't have any symptoms and on the 11th of August I decided to do a PCR test again and gave the sample to the Kings hospital Colombo. That report stated that I was Covid negative. I am curious if this can happen in 2 days. I lost my job because of the irresponsible work in this hospital. At least I didn't get a chance to contact a high ranking official to talk about this. So far no one was able to send in the perfect solution, which is not strange. I tell everyone that getting services from such irresponsible companies can lead to many problems. So this post was made for everyone to be aware of. Below I have attached the reports also.

Fairly large place and the place is good and well-maintained. I went here to do a scan and the process is quick. The staff is good but needs some improvements in customer handling. Also, the information provided by the front office needed to double-check. My father missed the scan because of incorrect pieces of information provided by the front office. The spaces and facilities are average compared to other locations but most of the reputed doctors can be channeled through this location. Parking is not available or I didn't saw the parking sign while I am visiting here but can park on the road.
