We stayed 2 nights at Richards guest house. We could choose a Budget room or a De Lux Room. we paid extra for a De Lux room. The room (no.4) is large and spacious with a very effective AC unit. The cost included a very nice breakfast. We could use all  facilities in a very well equipped kitchen. However all is not well with the property. In our room 2 of 3 lights not working so the room is extremely dimly llit after dark. You don't expect this  when you have paid. for a deluxe room!?! Bathroom wasn't cleaned properly.  Towels had a funky aroma. The soap was remnants of old soap previously used by other people. You don't expect this  when you have paid. for a deluxe room!?! Basin tap is loose and swivels round when you attempt to use it, and it's the wrong tap so it doesn't reach into the basin enough. You don't expect this  when you have paid. for a deluxe room!?! There's a TV but no way of switching it on so it's useless. You don't expect this  when you have paid. for a deluxe room!?! Summing up, I don't think it's good value and I  can't recommend it to you.

Rooms in the New building are good with ac and non ac, common sitting room, common pantry. The rooms in the older buildings are not so good. Prices reasonable. Close to town and the lake. Bookings are not very reliable. I went with a group and had previously booked several rooms only to find out they had been given to another party.

Perfect place to stay.. Quite and peaceful surrounding. Easy access from city. Staff is welcoming. No disturbances. Prices are extremely reasonable. Lot's of parking space is available. But definitely should consider about the cleanliness. Bed sheets and floor tiles are bit dirty.

One of the worste place ever, Dirty washroom, toilet, Rooms are not clean and not comfortable, They charge 2500 to 3500 rupees but they don't provide blanket or pillow for bed, they didn't refund my payment even i don't use room. In my opinion They're cheaters, staff are drunken while they're on duty, this is not a safe place for females to stay, bcoz some of staffs a molesters 🤬🤬🤬🤬

Highly popular among sales reps, and other types of traveller due to low cost. Itz hard to find a room from this area since all most all are preferred to rent a room for shift basis due to demand. So if you are need a room throughtout a day for a reasonable price, this is the most suitable place. Quality of rooms are also ok with the price.

Very low rate (Rs.1,750/-) per day. Clean room and friendly staff. No food available for room or dining. But can arrange the bed tea. A/C and non A/C rooms available.

We had a great time in this guest house. The price is good and it's so nice to have a common area where you actually want to hang out. Also, having a kitchen, ironing, a washing machine etc and also get breakfast served is the best of both worlds, wonderful! Would come again!
