The best food and greatest service in pinnawala! Very close to the elephant orphanage! I would very recommend to come visit before arriving at the orphanage for amazing food! Hassim the manager was very helpful and is also the tallest manager in Sri Lanka! So come down ladies!

Really bad place to visit. Food was overpriced and not delicious at all. I think food prices are more expensive here than Hilton hotel in Colombo. Their service is also really bad and late.

Nice hotel on your way to Pinnawala-elephant orphanage. We stopped to have a late lunch. The food was delicious and healthy. The staff was friendly and helpful. The dining area offers nice views of the river. I will definitely visit this place to have lunch when I visit the elephant orphanage.

Was only at the resturant, food is overpriced for what it is, in the 6000 to 7000 range for 2 people. Avoid and find another place.

Visited only the restaurant of the hotel which was good. The service of the staff was very good and the food was tasty. However they have limited options available but enough if you want some quick bite.

Do visit this place if you are fond of yucky, stale food that will induce food poisoning, vomit sensation and general hatred for any restaurant food ! We ordered chicken biryani and it was yellow rice topped with frozen chicken (heated on microwave) maybe. The chicken was so old and so cold that it might give the wooly mammoth run for its money! The charges are at par with any 5 star hotel and food taste is 1 star. Pathetic!

The food here was the most pricy we found in Sri Lanka. Atmosphere is very bad so we left before ordering anything. Avoid this place and get some streetfood in the nearby village. After we left we also read the other reviews about the extreme poor food quality. Did everything right

Planned out an elephant safari right in front of the hotel. Elephant ride cost around 3000 to 5000 LKR.

Visited only the restaurant. Very poor food and overpriced. The chicken we got in the biriyani was not even cooked through. Food tasted bland and was barely edible.

We were expecting to have local Sri Lankan food but what we got was beyond edible. The menu was fairly basic with mostly just western and Chinese options (burger, noodles, chopsuey etc). We ordered biryani and deviled fish. You can’t call yellow rice topped with ketchup on chicken biryani. There was absolutely no flavor. The deviled fish was also equally disappointing, it was just fried fish in ketchup. Had better expectations since the place looked nice from outside and was hygienic but the food was just beyond disappointing. Please try to avoid this place.

Just returned to our hotel room at Elephant Park after having a delicious dinner at "Pinnawala reach restaurant" . The menu consists a wide variety of western food as well as local specials. The price of food was reasonable considering it included govt taxes and service charge in it, unlike most other places in the island where u get surprisingly high bills after taxes are added to the prices what u see in the menu . Chicken breast with french fries and the devilled pork was awesome. Pinnawala area is very quiet after 6pm and hardly any restaurant open till late. This restaurant is a great option but it may take a few extra minutes to prepare the food which is really worth the wait.

The place is a bit tight on the pocket for the breakfast menu per head, around 800-1000 Sri Lankan rupees per head. The view in the balcony sitting area is pleasant and beautiful. If you are lucky you may see a huge lizard swimming in the river behind.

Came here for lunch after visiting the zoo. We had the Buffett which was very good. I enjoyed the leek and potato soup and then I had dhal with okra and vegetable fried rice. I splurged and had a banana milkshake you have to tell them not to put sugar in and then add vanilla ice cream. It was excellent. Cost is $$ but I thought reasonable
