I've traveled around the world enjoying a variety of authentic, typical foods in every country.. and every East Asian country has its characteristics about food with peanut-based spices.. and I found something that is really very special about authentic Indonesian food called KETOPRAK. This is highly recommended. You must try it if you go to Bali

WarKop (warung kopi) is meant to be a 24h place to hang around and socialize. This is no different even though they're not 24h yet. They serve cheap main course, snack, and drink commonly found in Jakarta. One thing in particular that i really miss from jakarta is a dish called Ketoprak. The vegan ingredients so far aren't that hard to prepare, but the sauce is something that's setting apart what a proper ketoprak is. Taking things further, this ketoprak peanut sauce is upgraded to the next level by improving one of the main ingredients. Ask the owner yourself if you'd like to know more. For reference, if i'm served ketoprak like this in jakarta i'd gladly rate them 5/5. You should get here if you need a place to hang around without loud music or alcohol.

Very authentic, delicious food (ketoprak) for a very good price (15K), owner is super friendly, we came back a second time!

Always a bit sus about a place with 100% 5 star reviews but ketoprak was pretty damn good for the price. The sauce is the star and get it with the egg, it also came with a drink for 19,000. FYI It's cash only and spicy level was pretty light on for me.

the best food i try in bali nasi telur ikan roa the traditional spicy made from smoked fish serve by suny egg was realy awsome and bubur ayam betawi is realy high recomended. the place and staf realy nice. good job!
