We came to this hotel in the afternoon and ordered drinks by the pool. A few minutes later we walked into the inside bar and ordered the same happy hour drinks. When I asked them if the drinks were still happy hour (buy one get one) we were told yes. When the bill came we were charged for each drink and it was not happy hour or buy one get one. We spoke to the manager Dhanny and he would not listen or did anything to resolve the issue. It’s not for the money but don’t fool people like that. Very Upsetting

Perfect for family. This is our first time staying at this hotel. I am staying with my two kids, both love the place. The swimming pool is big with plenty of activities for your kids. The location is near Kuta, you can walk outside and enjoy Kuta. The room is so quiet too, we didn’t hear noise from the street. If you are coming to Bali with young kids, and looking for a familu friendly hotel, this is a good option.

One of the best hotels I have been to. There were two pools from a party pool to a chill pool. The rooms are very clean a nice and you don't hear anything from the stage that has music playing late a night. Cross the road and right to the beach but you don't have to go there because the huge pool has its own beach! The food was ok and the staff was very friendly and happy! Very good! :D

The room we are in is a bit small for two adults and a 12 and 14 year old, but very nice and modern feel. Tiny bar fridge. The resort is beautiful. Staff are amazing and super friendly. Rock Royalty is worth the extra money. Buffets are very good. Some people say it's noisy here, but I definitely do not agree. Love it here! We will be back.

Fantastic location in the heart of Kuta with the beach just across the road. The pool is amazing with 8 slides for the kids to choose from! We were by the pool every day of our stay. The rooms were great. We had a very spacious and modern family room with comfortable bedding for all. Theres a variety of food from asian and western options at the buffet breakfast and the staff are very friendly and helpful. There's a kids club which the children love and every night, there's a live rock band at the bar which we enjoyed too. In the morning, the gym is fully equipped with everything you need for a good exercise. All in all, a very good 5 star ⭐ hotel and experience.

From the beginning to the end I cannot fault the service and hospitality we received whilst staying at the Hard Rock Hotel in Bali. Staff are so friendly and helpful in every aspect. It’s a great hotel to stay at for families and basically everyone! Has a massive swimming pool with cabanas and slides for the kids. Entertainment every day. Buffet breakfast was amazing! Rooms are lovely and immaculate. Staff even left little notes for us after cleaning and made characters out fresh towels! Was a great experience overall! We absolutely loved our time there and can’t wait to go back! It is in the middle of Kuta where you can just pop down to the local markets and get a massage if you please! Highly recommend Hard Rock Hotel Bali! It won’t disappoint!

Had a great experience at hard Rock hotel. The place is very family friendly. The big pool especially was a huge hit with the kids. The breakfast buffet was sumptuous. The free photo session was also a lot of fun. Service was excellent.. We ran into some issues during our visit- delay getting our room on time, foul odor in room- but all of them were dealt with efficiently and professionally by the staff. We got a temporary room to relax in while waiting for our room to get ready and technicians were dispatched to deal with the odors immediately. Location was excellent as we were able to walk to many souvenir shops as well as the beach easily.

I truly enjoyed my stay here. The best hotel I've visited, good service, strategic location, it's just the bedroom that is equal to a 4-star hotel in size and facility. Room aside, it has sooo many facilities you can enjoy. Waterpark, chilling pool, gym with jacuzzi and sauna, HR shops, cafe, bar, spa, and more. I recommend this hotel for staying-in person who enjoys strolling around the hotel since it has Bali vibes, it's worth it.

The hotel customer service is honestly very disappointing especially if it considered as a five star hotel. We as a foreigner came to the hotel and booked through online and got the booking confirmation confirmed. We thought we should try another five star hotel after staying at the Ritz-Carlton Bali for a few days and we love everything about it. When we get there our booking were not accepted as they told us that we were charged a different rate to locals. The booking was not refundable. The solution that they gave us was to deal it with ourselves - they won’t let us stay with the rate that we have booked. They told us that we should deal it ourselves as they booking shouldn’t show it ourselves. They had problems communicating with the agent website - I’m surprised that I was told to deal with it without any guarantee we will be refunded. All they have was excuses saying that they have communicated with the agent website and it’s not their problem. If we get charged anyway by the agent, they won’t help us. So I’m very disappointed as we travel all the way here and was asked to deal ourselves. As a foreigner, I would say there are much much better 5 star hotel with excellent customer service. I wouldn’t stay here. The Ritz-Carlton Bali is excellent is every way and cost almost the same - consider staying here.

Dream holidays spent at hard rock hotel Kuta. Everything is very clean, the staff is so friendly especially with our toddler and the amenities will be everything you need. I recommend taking the package with breakfast and meal included as the buffet is always awesome and delicious. Thank you for making our holidays so perfect.

Really liked this hotel. Great location in the middle of everything. The pool is seriously the best pool I have ever seen. Rooms are solid and fairly spacious. Live music every night. If you had youngest children they would have so much to do.

Amazing hotel. We tried two different types of accommodation including the family suite and both were excellent. Great place to be with kids, very polite staff, great service, great pool and overall great infrastructure. Food was very good too and the buffet theme was different each day. Good location. Internet access. Sure we spent more than expected but we really enjoyed our stay.

Hard Rock Bali was so nice and fun. The rooms are so cool and unique. The hotel opens up the hallways everyday to let in natural air and sunlight and it's much appreciated. The food was also delicious. I arrived to the hotel at night and live band was playing music in the bar and it felt like rolling up to a concert. Such a fun way to start my vacation! The staff were very friendly and attentive. The amenities were also excellent we were able to book tours and exchange money right there in the hotel. 100 recommend!

Check in was super fast, All staff were so friendly, from Reception, bell boy, Dining staff, security, pool staff. First class service and very helpful. The hotel is beautiful, Great Shows every night (i think) by the pub. The swimming pool is beautiful with kids water slides and mini sandy beach too. Breakfast was delicious and lots of choices. The location was perfect if you want to be in Kuta, 1 min away from the beach, lots of restaurants nearby and massage shops and activities to do. Highly recommended

perfect location, excellent service. well maintained rooms. a bit of walk from room to beach, need to pass through lobby/reception, parking ramp, but its fine. superb breakfast. kids friendly, spacious room with balcony to enjoy morning breeze. maintained toilet as well, but probably need more hanger in the toilet, especially travelling with kids. slippers provided but easily wear away, but ok.

I stayed here a couple months ago with my partner and 7 month old baby. I was really impressed with the whole experience. The staff were just amazing! They were all so friendly and even offered to hold our baby while we enjoyed the buffet breakfast each morning. The facilities were great. The pool is huge with plenty of space to find a sunbed. We ate at the pool side restaurant and the food was delicious, as was the room service food. I cannot fault the cleanliness of the hotel. Our room was always cleaned to the highest standard. The hotel is well positioned. We really enjoyed being able to cross the road and get to the beach each night to watch the sunset. It's also in Kuta so there's plenty of restaurants and shopping in walking distance. I would highly recommend this hotel, especially for families. We will be back!

We stayed at the hard rock this week and we loved loved loved it. The staff are so incredibly friendly and genuinely love babies! Our 13 month old got so much attention, she was very happy! We liked the breakfast buffet, the room was great, the kids pool area is so fun, it was really enjoyed by our baby and 4 year old - and us 😆 We would love to come back, hard rock has set our standards for family resorts.

Indeed, there is nothing to fault this hotel, everyday was awesome. We stayed there for 4days with our 2 children, and we had so much fun in the hotel. The swimming pool area is a plus point for family as there are cabanas and different area of swimming area for the kids to play. We don't even need to travel out to play sand as the pool area has its own sand pit. The hotel has a very wide range of breakfast buffet too. Everywhere in the hotel we went, the staffs are super friendly and polite. They will greet you and asked how's your day. Throughout the stay we are just so relaxed and positively recharged. Special shoutout to Leanne and team who specially arranged the flower and cake for our anniversary. We are both so touched by the service and passion that Hard Rock Bali staff portrayed. A big big thank you Leanne and team! We will definitely be back to Hard Rock Bali again!

For Bali standards the number of facilities is good but it’s definitely getting heavily aged. The service is definitely lacking in every area except the bell staff were amazing to work with. The food manages to be enough at breakfast (and the buffet dinner) but unfortunately that feels like what they lean on to make up for underwhelming quality. I also appreciate that they are no smoking, but it would be nice to have a bar somewhere you could have some drinks and a smoke, if not a pool. Walking from your room to the front of the hotel isn’t ideal (again my bad choosing to book this place) having spent today at “splash park” booking a cheap hotel and using the left over cash to head there for the day, you’d have a heap left over, and a much better experience. You could even have a driver for the whole day.

Hotel is pretty good! Every time I go to Bali, this is my go-to hotel. Kids club is amazing, it has tons of activities like rock climbing, going to the playground, and it gives lunch. Teens club is also really good with computers and consoles, it also has snacks and offline games. The rooms are good, and nicely cleaned. There is also room service and restaurants in the hotel with many options. The location is also nice, right across Kuta Beach. If it weren't for the traffic that is everywhere in Indonesia, this would be the perfect spot! Overall, the hotel is really good, totally recommend to stay!

We had an incredible week-long stay at the Hard Rock Hotel. We absolutely loved every aspect of our experience there, particularly the exceptional and welcoming service. This hotel is a perfect choice for families and music enthusiasts alike. The location is outstanding, earning a solid 10 out of 10. The pool is spacious and enjoyable, with a dedicated children's pool and engaging pool programs that kept our family entertained for hours. We highly recommend it!

Stayed 4nights in Hard rock hotel. Room was sparking clean and big enough for 2 adults and 2 kids. Most of things are perfect for holiday such as pools, location, kindness of crews. However foods need improving a bit more. Overall, I’ll definitely visit again.

Standard as expected for the hard rock. Lovely friendly staff. Beachfront location, free parking, big pool. Lots of very excited children in the pool. The food wasn’t great and tasted like typical fast food, but there are plenty of other places a short walk away. Very close to the airport.

Nice room, good size pool with fun slides and beach like feature for kids. Service from the hotel crew was excellent. Spa was nice too, we had a relaxing massage. Overall, a great stay at Hard Rock for my family! Just that the traffic around the hotel is horrible, roads around are always jammed..

It’s been about .15, years since our last stay with my family. HRH Bali hasn’t changed much. However, I’d recommend to have more maintenance done to keep up a fresh feeling in the hotel. Certainly the staff does work on it to keep up the quality. Breakfast area is a Desaster with too many guests queue up for it and “fighting” for their food at the buffet. I rather recommend using the breakfast at the royal restaurant with waiters serving your wishes. Pools are clean and well maintained. Check-in lobby and Center stage bar is a bit outdated and would require a refresh. In all over a good place to stay for a reasonable budget. Enjoy your time in Bali!

We stayed here for 4 nights in a deluxe premium room. We were wary because of the negative comments that i had read - but we loved every minute. The service was great, always smiling and happy to help. We loved the pool area and pool bar and the rooms were very clean and beds were comfortable. Thanks for a great time. The only thing i can mention is that the prices at the pool bar are way too expensive.

We are staying here for 3 weeks and love everything here! Perfect place for family with kids, our kids wouldn’t want to do a day trip. They’re always begging us to stay at the hotel and use their facilities. The staffs are incredibly great! Very helpful , kind and hard worker. It’s so hard to find the staffs like this! Very well done team! You guys rock!!

A very good hotel for rock and roll music fans, you will have fun a lot in this hotel till midnights. The hotel hosts concerts of rock and other music artists. Despite mosquitoes, bugs, flooded water after raining, they have great pool area for adults and your kids. The location of this hotel is on a busy area and on a one way road that full of traffic. So, if you plan to have great time in the area, this is the right place. Otherwise, getting in and out of the hotel room will take long time than you expect. The staff were very nice and welcoming, the breakfast and food were very good. The room we got was great. However I was sneezing every time I get in the room!, shower room floor level was not properly applied, causing water floods on other part of the washroom. So lay some towels on. AC must be always on!

I loved this place :-) It felt like home in a far away country. The rooms were well maintained. They also give us a complimentary photo shoot where we can take one photo printed with us as a memory. The pool was great to time spend at. They has also had a well maintained steam/sauna/whirlpool facilitiy where we can just relax and enjoy the holiday. Breakfast buffet was good too. Special mention about Ms. Lee Ann in the reception who is nice to talk to :-) Was happy that she remembered our names even on the next day :-)

Amazing resort. Beautiful staff and a great location. We loved everything about the place. The pool area was incomparable and was a highlight. The food in all restaurants was amazing from poolside to Hard Rock Cafe and Jamie Oliver's restaurant. Was an easy walk to Water Bom park too. Highly recommend!!

Super friendly staff! Facilities are clean, modern and child friendly. The daily live music from 9pm keeps us all entertained. Cabanas at the pool and kids pool with playground offer hours of entertainment. Roxity kids club is good however the mask requirement does put my kids off.

Great hotel to stay with your kids. The pools were amazing and really big. There is a vip pool area as well for those in the family suite. The suite enables you to have a bunk bed with 3 beds besides the master bed. The main pool comes with a sandy patch and wooden houses which kids can jump out from. It’s next to Kuta beach as well. And near several good coffee places.

Hard Rock Bali is a lovely hotel in a great location and I had a very nice time there. I just needed to lay around and recover and Hard Rock took care of that with all their pools and lounges. Very big hotel, great staff, many bars and restaurants, including a night club bar. Spotless and luxurious room and bathrooms, every facility you would need or want and the hotel is right on the beach with hundreds of restaurants and shops all around. Highly recommended hotel A+

Hard Rock Hotel. This is a hotel with a very unique concept. Located in the heart of Kuta, this hotel is based on the concept of hard rock while having child-friendly facilities. It's an old hotel, but the facilities look good because it's been recently remodeled. All the staffs are friendly and the facilities are varied. There are three swimming pools. Breakfast is also very good. However, it is not comfortable in the room due to high humidity. It feels like the blanket is damp.

Absolutely amazing, the hotel has everything for families and kids. Truly an established brand, well trained staff and really very clean, spotless amenities and room. There's even a clinic if you are feeling under the weather. The kids club activities were well lined up for the week. We spent 4 nights here and it's probably the best hotel in Kuta. The best hotel we have ever stayed in. Loved everything about it. The service, the friendly staff, the food (especially breakfast), live music, swim up bar, day spa, family game activities every afternoon by the pool and all the facilities. I feel home sick leaving Hard Rock Bali and can't wait to come back.

Location is very good. In front of kuta beach Room not very wide. But enough for 2-3 adult persons The facility very good. Especially for main pool and pool kids Water sliding. Water bucket. Etc 👍👍

This hotel is great for families of all ages. In our group we had 2 families with 4 children including teenagers. There was more than enough to do. Staff were extremely friendly and helped me organise decorations for a birthday lunch. We even went surfing every day accross the road with Gecko(just ask anyone). The kids are already asking when are we coming back. Thank you so much

Hard Rock Hotel never failed me. Last time we stay here was 5 years ago when my kid is still 2 years old. Come here again now after the major renovation. The hotel is still as fabulous as before, so many activities, so many guests, but the room is always quiet. In addition my kid is so happy with the roxity kids club, so many activities and toys and they provide lunch too. Will definitely stay here in the future.

Stayed here with my partner and we loved it! We booked through luxury escapes and got so much extra goodies for such an amazing price, only thing was our view off our balcony looked onto a ally way with rubbish bins so we couldn’t open the doors because the smell wasn’t the best but apart from that we loved the hotel and would stay again.

I booked direct and added s romance package. The inclusions have been amazing. A romantic dinner in a private cabana, (4 courses, barramundi, steak, absolutely delicious desserts). 1hr massages each Day use of Cabana with snacks basket Other non package inclusions include 4*$30 credit for food/shop/spa which we are currently trying to drink through in our Cabana. And a paparazzi session which was 20 minutes with a photographer. We went to the garden and the pool area, 6 different backgrounds, a few poses in each. You get 1 free photo, $10 for any prints after. The results look amazing. Room is a good size with comfy bed, TV that turns to face bed or daybed with latest movies . Very COVID safe. Temp checks on entry, all staff W masks, sanitised tables and rooms. We saw the kids play equipment get cleaned for >2hrs one evening. Criticisms Pillows. They only have super soft pillows that swallow your head and end up flat. I really missed my latex pillow. Lack of eco-friendly - still supply plastic straws, took the shower cap after only one use, still use the small single use plastic containers for water and amenities. There's lots of room for improvement here. Closures for COVID - not many in the hotel, the in pool bar is closed but we can get drinks delivered to cabana via the in cabana phone.
