The one thing not mentioned in other reviews is how noisy it is. There are a couple of clubs in the area from which you can hear thumping bass until 4am every night. Cannot recommend the hotel on that alone. If you are here for a party you might like it. Otherwise the hotel room is relatively nice staff are friendly.

It is now one in the morning and there is a lot of noise from the disco next to the hotel. we are 5 people, 2 adults and 3 children who have booked 2 rooms. but had to pay for an extra bed on arrival, the bed was obviously not included in the price online. the food in the restaurant is not very good either. was out to go to the nearest supermarket 100 m from the hotel and was offered drugs. if you want to relax and feel safe, this is not the hotel.

Great place when you spend days in Bali since its place is so strategic near the center of Kuta. The breakfast menu are great too. If you are lucky to get their fried cassava, please try it. Crispy outside, soft inside. The ambience of the hotel is great to. You can swim here in peace since it has infinity pool.

While the rooms seems ok at first glance, slowly the problems emerged one by one. The location is good, as there are many restaurants, cafes, and shops nearby. However, the noise from the clubs nearby until late midnight is terrible especially for light sleepers. I'm staying in a standard room for 2 people. They only give 1 chair in the room, so only 1 person can sit and another person have to stand? Also, the lightings in the room are so few and dim, the room is rather dark in my opinion. The main issue of this hotel which i realized is the water from the taps and shower are not fresh water. the water is salty which is very uncomfortable to shower etc. It cant really clean you up and leave you the sticky feeling after your shower or face wash. Being a reputable hotel, cant even provide fresh water for your guests is a huge disappointment.

Great location and very near to all the excellent night life clubs, restaurants, bars lining the streets of KUTA. Really a very unique Indian culture blended into the Indonesian life !

Big room size accomodate us 3 persons with 1 king size bed + 1 single bed, We can do workout ex. Push up, walking, skipping inside our room (family Suite). Bathroom and closet are separated, but unfortunately there's no drainage around closet area (only in bathroom area). Nice pool. Quite a variety of types of food at breakfast place, with average quality. But overall, it's still a nice vacation hotel if you compare with its price.

Had a very pleasant experience from the time I checked in to the time I checked out of tbe hotel. Morning breakfast was good with decent options vegetarians. Restaurant was fine but we found it to be a bit expensive. Rooms were tidy and neatly maintained. Swimming pool was good. Staff were very warm and welcoming. Overall a great place to stay.

The hotel is already old but still in good and clean condition. Room is clean even though a little small but it is okay. The operator & housekeeping respond to my request quite fast. Thank you! May consider coming back again!

Room size little small but clean. Two swimming pools one for kids and other one for adult. Breakfast good & enough. Staff behaviour very good, there are a few night clubs nearby with light noise untilled to 02 30 a.m. Excellent overall stay experience.

first time coming to bali and staying at this hotel was great. great service, buffet in the morning is great with lots of options. pool view access room was amazing, pool is daily cleaned, nice and warm. no complaints at all. it is central to the clubs, shops & convenience stores. there’s also a guard outside the hotel exit who ensures you get out and come in safely. very professional and respectful staff. will definitely recommend this hotel to my fellows, and can’t wait to come back again! :)

We arrived on July 23rd which was my wife’s birthday and also our 18th anniversary and with a small fee Harper Hotel decorated our room! The decorations exceeded expectations and my wife even got a small birthday cake!!! Harper Hotel completely made her day. Swimming pool was large enough, we had the room with pool access. Breakfast was good and plenty to choose from! The hotel was close to the clubs, should you party hard and you’re a little drunk no worries it’s so close 🤪

Street-front rooms next to club boom! music to wee hours. Kinda like a torture chamber. Impossible unless you have ear plugs. Got a room change. Nice pool. Fun hood of badminton, punk music venue, speciality beer bar, and architecture.

Rooms is standard. TV connection is bad so signal always disconnect every couple minutes in some channel. There is no HBO, Cinemax in the room. No bathup in the shower. Everything else is good. But its definitely not spacious. Hotel Location is good, because it located in Legian. It also only 700 meters from Beach Walk.

A hotel located in the main area of the Bali city and easy to commute to other places too. The service and food were good. Recommending it for a vacation stay.

Great central location, easy to get to anything. And the staff were great, very helpful, often asking if I needed anything. The buffet breakfast was good with a wide range of dishes and they would cook eggs to your liking. The water is in coolers in the hallway (no bottled water) and they couldn’t tell me if it was filtered or not when I asked so I didn’t risk drinking it and bought water instead. As others said the hotel is pretty loud, there’s not a lot of soundproofing so you can hear other guests/nightclubs/traffic. My room was not super clean when I arrived but subsequent cleans were pretty good. Although there were things such as mould in the bin and stained duvets which wouldn’t get cleaned. The restaurant had weird hours. I went down one day to be told it was closed (at around 7pm) and another they looked very confused but I was still served.

Harper is definitely good stay around kuta with good maintenance. Rooms are cozy with good restrooms. Swimming pool is very well maintained. Breakfast is good enough with limited vegetarian options though. We have booked a family suite and pool access room and both were very clean and neat. Soundproofing is not very good but, it is not an issue as mentioned in the previous comments which made us think twice before booking, try to stay in a room away from road to avoid this. Overall, the staff was very polite and friendly and the stay was pleasant.

Hotel with a nice location, swimming pool, asian or western style food you can have at the restaurant near the lobby. room are more than ok... Price is reasonable too so I recommend

Don’t stay in the hotel if you expect to have a sound night sleep. There are night clubs around and the noise and bass make it impossible to enjoy the night stillness. Also the running water from the fasten is YELLOW with heavy smell of chlorine!

Everything is great here. Room is very big and clean. All staffs are all professionally trained. Very polite really feel like at home. Except l personally feel that guest lifts need to upgrade and walkway need more housekeeping. Excellent hotel l will stay here again

They gave me a welcome drink. It was turmeric drink and was so refreshing. Located in a very strategic place. The hotel is just right across night clubs. The service is amazing and the breakfast is pretty great. We extended our stay for one more day. If you prefer a quiet place to stay, then don't choose this hotel as the loud music from the clubs goes off until 4am ish.

Value for money! 👍🏼 Really love the location (near to Kuta beach), the room, and the variety of meals. However, needs more sound barriers if you wanna have some good sleep cause the building is in between clubs, pubs, and bars. You can hear their noise from your room. Other than that, everything is good.

Star hotel 🏨 located in harper street happening place in bali city, near to shopping ,pubs ,clubs , can be disturbing for families as it's located to music from the pubs at night 🌙, not suitable for families , rooms are tiny as the pics in makemytrip made me to book this hotel , don't go for superior room which is very congested and no proper ventilation which make u discomfort at night , not centralized Air conditioned , there is a vacated place just beside my room which is like a 👻 haunted place

Room was big and clean, good and fast Wi-Fi, we had a view on a pool, service was good too. The drinking water was in boilers outside. As small disadvantage - there are some clubs near the hotel and at night you can hear some music and vibration.

The room was clean and neat. The furniture and toilet was good i liked it. The breakfast lacks options for arabs! We stayed for 3 days we only had eggs 😢! It’s only prepared for local tourists. The plates and cups had brown stains and need cleaning I found many dirty. I decided to get glass of hot milk and the pot was not cleaned for decades it had brown stains. Those things really were disturbing for us the level of clean and hygiene in the hotel is very important. If you like asian breakfast i think u would enjoy staying in it. The pool looked nice they had towels near the pool. We stayed in floor 3 viewing the pool and it wasn’t noisy at all. One thing really was bazaar they don’t have bottled water inside the room they have water dispenser in the hall which I didn’t like. I don’t know where this water came from maybe from the toilet faucet ,myself I prefer bottled water,bring your own water. The water kettle and water jar wasn’t clean. I’d give it 6/10

Great location as it's central to everything. Staff are very friendly. My room smelt a bit like smoke from previous clients. The room was nice and clean. Breakfast buffet was great. Well worth the money especially for the location. 10 minutes from the airport. Would stay again.

Positive points: friendly staff, the room was spacious and well maintained, many water dispensers Negative points: water in the room was salty (from the sea I guess), the key didn't work properly we had to pass it multiple times, the lights didn't turn on at certain moments.

We had been to this hotel for my honeymoon stay; enjoyable and good visit. Room facilities and staffs are so friendly and very much help. We were offered complimentary breakfast every day till check-out time. There is a lot of choice for breakfast. you can have anything you need, including various beverages and fresh juices, which is excellent. Some facilities like a Swimming pool and spa are also available within the hotel. We can go around walking to explore the city, lots of clubs and other shopping attractions are available. The only thing I feel is not good at this place, is a lot of music from a nearby club, which goes around till morning 4 AM. you can't have a pleasant sleep. Which is irritating, and you might spoil your next day's trip due to sleep.

Hotel room was clean, the service was best! I just want to reheat my food but they make up the dish, i just ,”wow cool!” You can take water everytime u want on dispenser. Please keep the service like this 👍🏻
