Not as advertised - Pros: - The rooms at The Patra are clean, tidy and spacious and in general the grounds are well kept. - The price of the resort is reasonable. - A number of pools in the resort, the main pool is huge! Cons: - The Patra is not as advertised. - The pool bar is currently closed - Pool toilets are dirty (mould on floor, no lights, slip hazard) and are an accident waiting to happen. - The Italian Restaurant and Japanese Restaurant are closed. - Highly understaffed and service is often hard to obtain. - Food from Hotel below par. - Location isn't ideal. Whilst we understood that our stay was on the back of the COVID pandemic, Hotels nearby seemed much more functional. After 4 days at The Patra we decided to approach management about the issues and were laughed at and told 'we will take on board' (criticism). I will be making further contact with our booking agency regarding a refund. We re-located to a resort nearer central Kuta for the rest of our trip where we were able to enjoy a fully functional Hotel and all round service.

Terrible place that is outdated and nothing like shown on pictures. How on earth is this a 5 star hotel?! 2 at best I would say. Everything is old, ugly and broken. There was construction going on which was not mentioned when booked. The pool looked liked an abandoned place, the grass was totally dry and brown, the beds were rusty and nasty, there was trash and cigarettes on the floor and to top it all off terrible music. The fountain in front of the swimming pool looked like sewer water was coming out, water was all brown and dead leaves everywhere in the water, like where is the maintenance here? Only good thing is that it is close to the airport but seriously don’t expect anything near a 5 star experience.

I had a fantastic experience at this hotel! The room was spacious, the breakfast was delightful, and the service provided by the friendly staff was top-notch. The fast wifi and air conditioner added to the overall comfort. Its convenient location near the airport and beach made my stay even more enjoyable. I highly recommend this hotel for a wonderful and hassle-free stay.

There were 2 big cockroaches in my room. The food was horrible. There were no vegan or vegetarian options. The staff and chefs don’t know what is vegan or vegetarian. They put fried eggs and cheese on top of foods even when I asked many times. The staff is kind overall but the middle aged lady in the reception was not kind. She was rolling her eyes when I told her about the cockroaches.

We a family from india - chennai, stayed for two days 25 to 27 december 2022. Very nice place, sea facing and greenish large land area and very close to denbasar airport. Restuarant is very good. Breakfast with buffet got more varities for our choice. The all staffs are very kindly. Bali visitor's can choice this resort too. Tq.

A very beautiful resort at a walking distance from the airport. It is along the beach, though the beach is not good. Pool, resort, breakfast, the vibes are all amazing. I think we got the place at a decent price as well

Everything is just awesome. Location is very near to Airport. Everthing is available. They have their own private beach. You can enjoy there whole night without any limits. Also pool area is biggest. Must be there

We spent here 6 days at the end of September. The airport is close to the Resort (5-8 min by walk), but the noise is not annoying at all. The furniture in the rooms is a little bit old-fashioned, but they are working continuously on renovation. You can relax next to one of the pools, which is a perfect place to see the wonderful sunset. The staff and their hospitality are amazing; we were lucky to try new Patra Bali signature cocktails as well. I hope this was not the last time we visited this Resort.

We got married here. And always wanted to come back. We were finally able to do it just recently after more than 3 years. Have always loved this hotel. The staff are just friendly. Rooms are spacious and clean. My husband and I always enjoy our stay here.

Unfortunately we read the bad reviews after it was booked for us for a night. We couldn't change it as it was non refundable. We ignored the distance, renovation, old furniture, mosquitoes and even a lizard in the bathroom, as it was just for a night. Then we experienced sewage smell in the water from all the taps. The water was brown literally at the start. They send house keeping twice to fix it but the smell was constant. This is unforgivable because we didn't take bath or wash ourselves. We had children and we could get infected if it was unnoticed. They seriously need to pause taking further bookings and fix all their issues and renovate this outdated resort then continue.

Me and my wife stayed at this property for two nights in mid November as part of our vacation to Bali. The property is very huge put up in a vast area... require golf carts to move around....every time we miss out the route to reach the reception/restaurant. The room was very good, spacious and clean, but distance from reception/restaurant is a major issue. As the hotel lobby and reception is under repair, the hotel was kind enough to give us complimentary dinner on both the days for the inconvenience caused by the construction activity. It was nice of them to have offered this to us. The breakfast was yummy. Their restaurant faced the beach... Only negative point would be distance to cover inside the property and also there were no markets closeby... But for these, the stay was quite good.

This hotel is truly special: a marvel that has been very well cared for in every detail. The pools are at a perfect temperature, large and cozy rooms, and all the staff, including management, go out of their way to welcome you with kindness. I had a wonderful time. The ocean view is the icing on the cake.

Overall the room is great! Large and comfortable. the staffs is also friendly and nice. It has two pools, large and medium size. The room is clean but still could be improved. We really enjoyed staying there.

We booked the villa with sea sight. On arrival we were told we had a upgrade to a villa with garden view?? Didn't see how that was a upgrade so we got the sea sight anyway. Really worth it, amazing rooms, great bed/pillow. Good service and excellent food (menu).

Like the pool and the location. 15 min walk to kuta center and close to the airport. Beautiful sunset. We love the hotel, they get 4 and not 5 starts due to long food delivery time in the restaurant yesterday and the ice tea was not great.

It's definitely a resort, and close to the airport. (Noise wasn't an issue for me, but you can see the planes take off) The main downside is that you're in Kuta, which is rather overrun with tourist schlock and not the best representation of Bali culture. Still, not bad. If you're taking a yoga course the floating shala is really cool. I wasn't a student so can't speak to the quality of instruction. Powerful AC units in the rooms were very nice. I also enjoyed the pool and live Balinese music during complimentary breakfast.

Very convenient and quiet location right next to the airport, useful for those who are in transit. Room was spacious and nice which was made for a relaxing 1 day layover before we flew to next destination. Lots of Australians, seems like a common resort destination for them.

Our flight was cancelled so we were brought here. Rooms were a little dated as the cupboards upon opening were a little musty. However very clean & very friendly service. Food was probably more authentic than we had on our entire trip - delicious 😋 the grounds were a bit dated but the pool area was fantastic & a stone throw from the beach. You could see planes landing during day as airport is only 1km away and the sound of the planes didnt bother us at night as we were tired & it was late when we arrived. Overall pleasantly delighted. I would recommend.

This was actually a beautiful resort. I left a hotel that didn't deliver on its promises and went here instead. It's quiet it's got great food and beautiful pools. And it's 5 minutes from the airport. It's a great place to finish your trip in bali and wind down.

Fabulous! Older style traditional Balinese resort, however still extremely well maintained, very comfortable and very attentive staff. We were upgraded to a deluxe suite. Very reasonably priced cocktails and food. We will sure to come back!! Very impressed. Thank you Patra resort for a lovely stay. 5 stars! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🥥😀🌴🌄

So satisfied Roo was old but very well maintained and spacious. But the food was not good for me. Nice location, can walk to the airport. Huge swimming pool. Pleasant experience.

Beyond my expectations. Only here for a short staycation but wished it was longer. Good location - near airport, private beach, peaceful surroundings - combined with awesome facilities (clean rooms, great pool), and very friendly staff. Recommended for families.

Great set of people, impeccable hospitality & keen to serve the customers better. There was an upgrade as well for our booked category of the room.. The only place they can work on making the breakfast buffet more globalised.

Very nice and budget friendly resort. Near to beach and airport. Rooms are very good with all amenities. Vegetarian food options are available in property. Staff is very helpful in early check-in as well. There will be lots of cabs like grab available in property lobby area all day.

This is the most underated hotel in kuta area, its such a big resort eith direct access to the beach. Its well worth the price. We are currently stay here for 5 nights in a deluxe suite that comes with dining room and living room, perfect for us as a family, honestly we can not fault this hotel, location is good for a short break as it near the airport. Food is probably the area the hotel needs to improve, they are nice for indonesians but not much varietas for western breakfast. If you're looking for a nice, peaceful and secluded hotel, room for your family that won't cost you arms and legs ..you should give this hotel a try. Everyone here are soo friendly and helpful. Well done Patra, keep up the good work 👏 will sure be looking to return in the future.

Very nice hotel. The villas are tropical styles with Bali vibes. Quite, peaceful atmosphere yet as you walk along the beach you will find local people selling food, offering massage or selling souvenirs. It is very close to airport. The beach is not as nice as Kuta white sandy beach though. The hotel has a very nice swimming pool. Food is good too. Lovely stay!

Very nice and clean quiet place to stay near airport in Bali. Big huge pool with beautiful sunset view which took my breath away. But still I hold 1 star for breakfast service and spa. Breakfast served was cold and everything finished before time. And I think if u r looking for spa for relaxation in ur resort then this is not the resort. Spa closes very early and opens late. Staff is very polite , friendly and welcoming. Kids club is big enough to keep them busy. We had a good family time in the resort.
