It's an affordable hostel in Bali, but I wouldn't choose it again. The beds are unclean with stains and marks, and the restrooms are often dirty with a persistent smell due to old, rusted pipes and drains. The roof is nice, and the staff are friendly. I stayed for a week, but I'd recommend other hostels for longer stays. It's decent for a night or two, but avoid the laundry service—it can ruin your clothes with paint and leave a strange odor.

Die Zimmer und Toiletten sind sauber. Das ist aber auch alles. Der Service ist schlecht und für den Preis habe ich besseres gesehen. Die Klimaanlage ist so kalt dass ich fast nicht schlafen konnte und mit 20 Personen in einem Zimmer wird das nicht besser. Ich habe für 2 Nächte bezahlt bin aber direkt nach der ersten Nacht wieder abgereist. I don't like kuta.

Best thing about this hotel: cleanliness & interior design. The bathroom is especially clean and comfortable! Interior design is so well-thought, especially for the price of this hotel. Service was great and the staff is helpful and friendly. also, spacious bunk beds! Can be improved: breakfast only consists of bread & jam, but hey I'm not complaining judging by the price.

It's quite a busy hostel so lots of people coming in and out during the night and morning. Beds are comfy and the privacy curtains are really helpful. Showers and toilets were clean Price was very reasonable for the location

During my stay, the elevator was out of service. However, the beds were exceedingly comfortable, and overall, the value offered by this property is outstanding, considering its age and former status as one of Asia's finest hostels. The front desk is open 24 hours, and luggage storage is available. While the lobby lacks air conditioning, hot water is provided in this area, albeit with limited seating options. In conclusion, this establishment offers excellent value for money, with its exceptional layout and customer service, convenient location, and comfortable amenities, despite showing signs of aging.

Like most properties in Bali, the hostel has long passed its glory days. I am not sure about those reviews that talk about how clean it is, I went there to check place out before planning to stay there. Glad I did. The toilet has sewerage smell though from look it is passable in cleanliness. Guess like most old properties the sewerage piping is old and has leaked hence the smell. The dorm room has 22 bunkers and from the look outside the door I really think the whole hostel should be renovated for the rating it is getting. For now it is definitely not par with the hostels like in Thailand, Malaysia, Vietnam, etc.

Cool capsule-style hostel. Very clean and neat, each bunk is it's own little "room" with a curtain, light, power and even fold-down table. Nice cafe on ground floor, tiny restaurant on rooftop (nothing to write home about but view is fantastic). Not-even-five min walk from Kuta beach. No social space though, very self contained

Staff here are very professional and nice. Turned up on the spot to book and they were nice. The bed is good enough and comfy and private enough for a night stay. Bathrooms are cleaned but could be touched up as it’s abit getting worn. The mingle area is great and so is location. Macdonald’s nearby for early breakfast before 7am. Lockers are good and love the Hanger and shelf in the pod itself . Good price and good water refill

A very nice and affordable hostel! The beds, room and washrooms are reasonably clean. We had the double bed and it was way more spacious than we had expected. Its selling point however is definitely its convenient location which is walking distance to everything (Kuta night market, the beach, McDonalds, etc). The staff was also very friendly, nice and helpful. The only thing we didn’t like was the lack of a common room. It’d have also been nice if they had provided free coffee or tea like other hostels.

A decent hostel. At my visit the lift was under maintenance, had to take my suitcase to the 3rd floor. Toilet sometimes smelly. But they have complete toiletries. Location is very strategic, walking distance to Kuta Beach and Beachwalk mall. Near KFC, Mcd, Yoshinoya. There is common rooms on the ground floor and rooftop.

Stayed at this place on two different occasions. Being a long term traveller this at the top of my favourite hostels! We (Couple) were in the double bed dorm which had the most comfiest bed, perfect privacy and various storage cupboards with a bracelet electronic lock. Super clean in both the room and toilets which were checked regularly, free breakfast up on the rooftop and the staff there were also really friendly. Highly recommend.

Come to stopover flight in DPS Airport. Its only about ten minute by Motocycle. Good for backpacker, have a comunal space on rooftop and just few step to beach,, near minimarket 👍🏻

The best modern and affordable hostel in Kuta that near a lot of tourism spot! I stay for a couple days, they always clean the shower room and toilet everyday, we can change towel everyday, there is a free drink, the staff very kind and helpful, the rooftop is amazing! Try to visit in the morning or at night. I enjoy my stay and definitely willing to stay here again in the future. Thank you!

My stay in this awesome H-Ostel in Bali is perfect. Located in the heart of Kuta where restaurants, convenience stores, clothing shops and bars are accessible. It is literally walking distance. I met their staff Syafii, he’s very accommodating and willing to help if you need something or if you’re new to Kuta and Bali. They offer free breakfast at the hostels’ rooftop with amazing view of the town and scrumptious menu. It’s sociable, I met some traveler there from different countries. The bed is great and comfortable. Toilet is impressively clean. I will not forget the hospitality of their staffs. It’s a great place to start your Bali experience.

Terrific! Clean, quiet, private. Bar downstairs. Cheap but good food on the roof looking toward the ocean. Elevator. Motorbike rental. Perfect location for nightlife and beach. Beds have privacy curtains, lights, and power outlets. Showers have great water pressure and hot water. I can't give this hostel enough stars. I will definitely stay here again!

I really recommend for budget traveling couples. Great hostel, super clean and quiet. We stayed 4 nights 1/4 breakfasts were deemed satisfactory. We would buy food from a grocery store to supplement their breakfasts. Once it was just cereal and fruit and another day it was really bad pancakes I took a bite and left it. But they did pancakes the next day and I finished my whole plate.

The cubicle room is good and towels are given on entry. Locker system with wristband works well. Toilets were OK, perhaps some room for improvement but it might just be the number of people using them. Good location for the beach and the clubs

Cheap but good. Capsule bed so definitely good privacy. Looker (with electronic bracelet) in the room. Location is perfect (2minutes from kuta beach and a lot of restaurant nearby). Staff super helpful and friendly. Showed me where to do laundry, and where to go eat. Only cons would be that the bathroom are not super clean (normal cuz a lot of person use them) and that there is not really a lounge/rest area to chill and socialize. In addition the wifi is not super powerful in the room. There is a rooftop with table tho.

The best hostel in Kuta so far. Near from the beach and the shopping areas. The price was cheapful and they also provide motorcycle rent. Just bring your clothes, don't worry about bath tools because they provide like soap, and shampoo, also the towel.

At a great location, 5 minutes walk from Kuta beach. They have discovery mall right behind the building and Beachwalk 10minutes walking distance. The staff is friendly. The pods are clean and the bed is super comfortable. They have storages for our stuff, shoes, and free locker. The sharing bathroom is clean and provide soap and shampoo. They have motorbike rent too. Near some minimarket and food franchise. Too bad the elevator is not working and the rooftop is empty. It's quiet bcs there's no club around so I can sound asleep.

A pretty nice hostel. The capsule-like rooms are really cool. They have storage and hanger and desk and charger port in each one. Storage under and locker in the same room. No social space and it's hard to meet people when you never see anyone. Mostly clean but weird bathroom design with no where to put stuff at the sinks or showers. Helpful staff who showed me where I could do laundry nearby. On a main street into Kuta with eateries and shops. Close to the beach and beach walk shopping centre.

Love my overnight stay in this hostel despite the ongoing renovations there. The dorm room and their facilities are modern. Each bed has a black out roller blinds for privacy. There are also 2 compartments beside the bed to put your valuables. It can fit a small laptop. For your backpacks, you can put it separately at the designated locker area. And I love that there is a dropdown table mounted on the bedside so you can use that as your work table. The bed is comfy and the blanket is thick. AC temp is just the right setting for me. The common bathroom and toilet is always cleaned by the staff with free toiletries. Location is very central. Near the beach and restaurants and even the traditional morning market is only a few blocks away. The rooftop common area is still unavailable because of the renovations but the ground floor which used to be a coffee shop became the alternative common area. However, the wifi in the dorm room keeps getting disconnected for some reason. And the mobile data there (i'm using Telkomsel) is not too strong so going online when the wifi is acting up is a bit of an issue. Hope they will fix that. But I will still stay there again. Great value for money!

Although this is a hostel, the beds are bigger than I expected, and everything in the private space (eg outlets, a small table, a light, hangers, etc.) is equipped. Staff provides a clean towel and locker key when checking in. There is also a blind on the bedside to guarantee personal space. Bathrooms are well managed and clean. The location of the hostel is also very convenient. There are many shops, shopping malls, restaurants and drugstores nearby, and Kuta Beach is only a 10 minute walk away.
