I absolutely loved the entire experience here and the food, ESPECIALLY the food. The server was very friendly and helped us decide what to eat. I loved the Galbi and Bibimbap but more importantly, the complimentary sides they give. I couldn’t stop eating the anchovies and added them to the Bibimbap and it just made it incredible. I would definitely recommend everyone to come here and try this restaurant. You can park in the Carlton Hotel parking, just honk when you get close to the barrier and they’ll let you park.

From the moment I walked in, the ambiance was inviting and the staff was very friendly and accommodating. The menu offered a wide variety of traditional Korean dishes, as well as some modern fusion options. For starters, I ordered the Kimchi Pancake which was crispy and flavorful, perfectly complemented by the tangy dipping sauce. For the main course, I opted for the Bibimbap, a popular Korean rice bowl dish, which was presented beautifully with colorful vegetables and tender slices of beef. The flavors were on point, with just the right amount of spice and seasoning. What stood out to me most was the attention to detail in the presentation of each dish. The food not only tasted amazing, but it looked beautiful as well. The portion sizes were generous, and the prices were reasonable considering the quality of food and service.

If you are just over the beginner then try these: yuk ge jang, tang su yuk, yang jang fee, yuk hui, domi jorim(seabream), den jang jjige, and dol sot bi bim bob. I recommend korea gwan for original, traditional, unique restaurant for Korean cuisine.

The food is very authentic and always bursting with flavor. Some of my favorite dishes include dduk bokki (rice cakes in spicy sauce with mozzarella cheese on top which is sooo delicious), fried chicken with chili sauce, jjajang myun (black bean noodle), jjam pong (noodle in spicy seafood broth), korean bbq beef (the beef is so soft and melts in your mouth!!!), soft tofu soup, beef tartare (they are know for this dish), and yangjanpi (mix of vegetables, meat, seafood, and soft clear potato noodle). They give you seasonal fruits at the end of the meal for free. You also have to try the Korean coffee which is a nice little treat after your meal. You can make a reservation by calling 2245-2759 and they will also kindly offer you directions to the restaurant. The ambiance of the restaurant is great as you can have a private meal with your party in one of the rooms. There are also larger rooms to have a private party. The staff are also very friendly and quick to respond. The best part of the restaurant is the owner. She is so sweet and friendly. I would hands down say this is the best Korean restaurant in Kuwait.

Love this place and is on my rotation list when eating out in Kuwait. You start with 6 assorted banchan of generous quantity.. Recommendation: for starters the veg pancake we order it without seafood and extra crispy. Roboki, jabchee, kalbi or bulgogi Bibimbap is also wonderful but sometimes the hot stone can be too hot and scorches the rice. After sometime of enjoying the food served, a waiter came and informed us that costumer is waiting to be seated on same table we were using. Why in the first place you offered the table to us when infact it was reserved.
