Ornament collections at this shop is bit unique comparing their other branches. The more you buy, the better price. Of late, sussie bars are not available in this outlet and the reason is unknown.

Today was the first time I was really disappointed with the Malabar services because of one salesman who told me not click pictures of the gold(basically not waste his time, as he thought I wasn’t a potential buyer which honestly really got me offended)because there are too many customers and he has to deal with them. I come from a line of hospitality and customer service , and I believe that if you don’t give your customers to explore your product/service you will fail. Please, I would have left if it wasn’t for JANICE who came and greeted me, as she knows me since I’m a loyal customer to MALABAR GOLD & DIAMOND for the last 7 years. When she greeted me I realized that this salesman MOHAMED BASITH doesn’t know me probably that’s why he didn’t want to entertain me (got his name from the bill) Just because I’m clicking pictures first doesn’t mean that I’m wasting his time, there was a family next to me who was having a full fledge conversation on video call showing bracelets to their family back home in detail and I must have clicked pictures of 5-6 sets of earring and pendants and he says this to me. How do you expect me to feel? Where is the patience? . Im really disappointed I picked what I needed, paid and left the store . Added the 5 pictures I had taken which wasted Mr.Mohamed Basith ’s time.The star is for his service which he doesn’t deserve.

I went Maliya branch to buy a long necklace, but they have very few designs only available compared with fahaheel branch. We need to compromise with the available designs.

People who are buying gold need to recheck especially on making charges thats where one can save cost. Also look for certification, level of purity, buy back terms and try to bargain on cost per gram, Invoice with seal or stamp and signed copy from seller ensure these can save you resell value in future.

The staff is super friendly and treat you with a lot of respect. The quality and workmanship of their jewelry is very noticeable and their designs are trendy and fashionable.

Place is accesible, courteous and accomodating staff …. So many items to choose from though prices are little high compare to small gold shop but nonetheless im sure its real gold… but i hope next time if newly purchased items and first time to wear and got issue it should be change not repair esp not even one month from the date of purchased. Warranty should cover it at least for a month , it was the quality affected and got little bit disappointed when it was for repair and not for change . Please note that only 2 weeks it was purchased and first time to wear and was cut off ☹️
