Disappointing
Experience
at
Harley
Davidson
Kuwait

I
recently
visited
the
Harley
Davidson
showroom
in
Kuwait
on
27
July
2023
around
1600
with
the
intention
of
purchasing
a
HD
Low
Rider
model.
Unfortunately,
my
experience
left
much
to
be
desired,
and
I
felt
compelled
to
share
my
honest
review.
First
and
foremost,
the
salesperson
assigned
to
assist
me
lacked
adequate
knowledge
about
the
bike.
When
I
inquired
about
the
location
of
the
cruise
control
button,
he
was
unable
to
provide
a
satisfactory
answer.
Instead,
he
had
to
consult
the
showroom
manager,
who,
to
my
disappointment,
entered
into
an
argument
rather
than
admitting
that
the
bike
was
received
from
the
manufacturer
without
the
cruise
control
feature.
To
my
astonishment,
the
showroom
manager
then
proceeded
to
offer
me
a
modification
option
at
an
additional
cost
of
over
150
KD
to
install
the
cruise
control.
I
found
this
offer
unreasonable
and
felt
that
it
was
an
attempt
to
take
advantage
of
the
situation.
It
was
disheartening
to
learn
that
the
same
bike
model
in
the
Dubai
Harley
Davidson
showroom
came
equipped
with
cruise
control
as
a
standard
feature.
This
experience
left
me
feeling
scammed
and
extremely
dissatisfied
with
the
lack
of
communication
and
marketing
skills
demonstrated
by
the
Kuwait
branch.
The
overall
level
of
customer
service
was
far
from
satisfactory,
and
the
unwillingness
to
negotiate
on
price
further
added
to
my
disappointment.
As
a
result
of
this
disheartening
encounter,
I
have
chosen
to
explore
alternatives
and
have
ultimately
decided
to
opt
for
an
Indian
motorcycle.
My
decision
was
influenced
by
the
genuine
honesty,
product
knowledge,
and
willingness
to
negotiate
on
price
that
I
encountered
at
the
Indian
motorcycle
showroom.
In
conclusion,
my
visit
to
the
Harley
Davidson
Kuwait
showroom
was
marred
by
a
lack
of
product
knowledge,
poor
communication,
and
what
seemed
to
be
an
attempt
to
take
advantage
of
customers.
I
hope
that
the
management
takes
these
concerns
seriously
and
works
towards
improving
the
overall
customer
experience.
