Price a bit high except wholesale. Fish are fresh here. If you want to buy in the good quality and huge amount then you have to go just after ASR prayer because on that you can buy from wholesale market which is lower 8n price then the regular market moreover there are some fish which are found more frequently in some seasons and the price of those fishes are reasonably low.

One of my favourite place to buy a fresh fishes. U can bargain more its a fixed price. But there is a timing's around 3 pm where u can buy full fish bucket and less price. ⁸

If you are smell sensitive, this place is a no go. However if you can tolerate it, it does allow you to immerse into a local atmosphere of a Middle eastern market. Be sure to bargain as at the initial prices you get are a rip off. There’s also a vegetable and a spice market in the same building.

It used to be only fresh local catch, but now they sell local and imported fish that might not be so fresh , some time the sellers will mix and some time the switch while cleaning, so be careful

this place has everything from fish as small as fingers to fish up to 3 metres. The place is huge and you will certainly find what you are looking for. Most of the sellers are extremely friendly and would even give you their number so you can call to have fish cleaned and cleared for different ways of cooking and you would go pick and pay for the fish and leave. There is also an amazing Restaurant where you can cook the fish and pick it up after you are done with everything you need. I haven't had a single bad experience since I began going there.

The market also has a few vegetable vendors and other grocery stores, detached from the fish market but in the same complex. All in all, the Kuwaiti Fresh Fish Market is worth your time if you can make it out there.

I like to visit the place although I don't eat sea food, it's a nice chance to see different kinds of fish from Kuwait, Iraq, Iran and Egypt. Also like the backside where are the fishermen and their wooden boats. One thing that I don't like about fish market is replacement of fruits and vegetables at the entrance, I don't think someone will be happy to buy vegetables with the smell of fish!

It is sharq kuwait. October and November os the season when we can get all sea items in cheap price. Crabs, prawns promphet etc.. has ample parking space and labors to clean the fish and pack.

As a fish lover, I love this place. But the prices are increasing dramatically in the past few tear which is un fair for see country. The place still keeps the old building impression which make it a tourist attraction. But I doesn’t recommend the place for a tourist unless if he is looking for the most fresh and the cheapest fish in the country due to the stinky smell
