One of the best airports I've been! The 2nd floor of the Departure Area has a lot of Restaurants choices, clothes or gift shops and also a view deck of the outside ground! I've always Departed & Arrived on Chubu when coming home in Japan since I was a kid and now it has a extended area called "The Flight of Dreams" ✈️🎌💯💯😄 #Airport

Location wise is simply awesome and no other airport can match this airport in the whole world. And since it is made and manage by Japanese, no question on their quality and service. Very clean, excellent ambiance, everything available on the ships from good food to great shopping. You feel relaxed while in transit or going though airlines, surgically the landing and takeoffs are amazing. Recommended to travel at least once from this airport.

The check-in area looks like an ordinary airport..... but surprise comes after going through immigration. The 2nd floor is the shopping and food paradise for tourists. All important local brands are available. The contrasting decor of traditional and trendy, western and Japanese is impressive! Must visit attraction!

Big airport! We almost got lost. We bought a train ticket going to Nagoya Station which is somehow I think inside the airport. There are helpful staff whom we asked around. They even changed our tickets when the first train went off and left us. Very accommodating! It can be too hot at the terminal 2. Hehe

Amazing airport on an artificial island. It is very modern and technologically advanced. The uniqueness of this transport hub lies in the fact that there is a special station here. This station connects sea, rail, road and air transport at the same time! The airport building is very interesting. Everything is conveniently located inside. The staff is fast. The rooms are clean and well ventilated!

We drove from our hotel in Nagoya to Chubu Centrair Int'l Airport and arrived at 8am for our 11 am flight. With hind sight, I should have provided for four hours buffer time rather than three hours. We had to return the rental car, walked to check-in our luggage, and we encountered a 40 minutes queue. When we cleared immigration, we were starving for breakfast. There are many restaurants to choose. The food was reasonable and not expensive compare to other airport restaurants. The duty free shops fairly priced their merchandize too. Chubu Centrair is very modern and convenient airport. It was not a busy airport so I think the reason for the 40 minutes queue was due to inexperienced staff working the check-in counter. It felt like every passengers took a long time to complete their check-in process. Although we had already completed the on-line checked-in, it was slow. I think this is an airline service issue rather than the airport issue; hence I give it a 5 stars.

This airport has amazing observation deck. Accessibility is good and reachable by train, road and ferry. It is very clean and not crowded. Airport hotels are located within walking distance to airport and extremely convenient when taking early morning flights.

It was one of the best airports I've been to. Not crowded and airport staff are very helpful and polite. We arrived too early for our flight, so shopping and dining on the 2nd floor was a delight! They also have a very spacious sky deck where you can sit and watch the planes take off and land. It was a very pleasant end to our Nagoya trip, but I will definitely come back to Nagoya.

There's little to no shop after the security gate. It's better to put a sign so passengers can try to buy souvenirs or eat their lunch before passing thru the gate. The restaurant's ambience in the 4th floor is quite good though.

A well lay out airport with easy access to public transport and gates. The departure area has a wide variety of last minute souvenir shops and eateries. After the security scans, there is a spot to purchase confectionery, sake and a small airport lounge. There are limited availability for hard liquor though (majority was sold out and only a handful available in the duty free shop). Overall was clean and not too bad!

Great airport with all amenities for tourists. Japanese service workers are so very helpful, polite, and very hardworking. Restaurants are available next to the observation deck. There are displays of aircraft which were cool to see. Train to Nagoya Bus Station can be reached with ease even with many luggages. Overall very impressed and thankful we chose Chubu Centrair!

Terminal 2 is totally a disaster. Lack of sign, far from station, insane slow moving walkway and no transportation. If you treasure your time and like to have a comfortable airport experience, don't use any airlines in terminal 2.

It's excellent! Very organize, clean and properly maintained. Staffs are friendly. It's November 2022 I'm here for the first time 🙂

T2 is super far from the entrance, had to walk like 30 min to get to the gate. Also there's only a small shop, no food options.

Get your mysos application ready when going through immigration. Many people will jam up at the immigration entry. Just walk through if they are not queuing up. You do need an internet connection for your mysos app. Note that the airport lounge for departure is not in operation yet.

I put in a credit gold card lounge, but all the lounges in the priority pass are closed.

This is the international airport in Nagoya. Most flights are domestic. There are few international flights operated to Singapore, Bangkok and Manila. Not much crowded. Staff at duty free shops are very polite and help the customers.
