Over the past years, I've visited Kibet Steakhouse in Kyrenia/Girne several times, and always been happy with the restaurants servings. But NOT anymore, I'm afraid... Quality has definately gone down, and dishes are not like they used to be years ago. My friend and I both ordered the T-Bone steak, 500-550 grams according to the menu. The steaks were both ordered medium roasted. As the picture shows, both of the steaks were very thin and weight has never been even near 500 grams each; rather 300-350 grams each. The thin cut makes the steaks very hard to roast properly, and the result was quite obviuosly dry and non-juicy steaks. And; the cut of the meat has never been T-Bone; the cuts simply failed the T... So; Kibet - only 2* for a disappointing experience compared to the past 4-5 years 👎☹️!

Awful service, the girl with a sad face like I own her something. I like the New York steak for its tenderness and juicy taste.

The place was empty when we walked in. the waiter ignored us for a couple of minutes, he was busy on his phone. He took the orders it took him less than 10 minutes to come back with food. The presentation was nice BUT the taste of stake was something I can do at home when I am not in the mood for cooking ( no seasoning and it overcooked) it was not good. The owner needs to invest in good chefs and staff. The only thing fresh was the salad

Great place, its a relaxed place, friendly waiters, good food, and clean. Been here weekly for the past 2 years never had bad experience. Price is very fair.

Restaurant is pleasant enough and if you sit indoors, it avoids the traffic noise passing by outside. I've been coming here for years and the quality of food has unfortunately dropped. Steak cuts are not as big, but most disappointingly, they are tough and tasteless. This has been the case on our last two visits. I also have the usual gripe about the number of chips and vegetables, which you could count on one hand! Not worth the money anymore for me.

We arrived at 9:30 and the waiter was in such a hurry that he took our order with stress. The glasses were as small as an egg, And even they didn’t change it! and the salad bowl looked like a dog or cat food container! We had to ask for every little thing, like a cutlery set. The service was very bad! Inside the restaurant, there was a strong smell of spoiled meat. In short, it was very bad and I was not satisfied at all I will never return!

The steak is amazing service is rubbish! We have just been tried to go for dinner and as told they shut! Even thou the website says 11pm. It was only 9.15pm!!

Great place to eat a decent steak on the island. The restaurant offers dry-aged steaks at reasonable prices. The restaurant is not fancy or anything but worth the visit.

The meat was of very poor quality and tasted like water, without any seasoning. I had the dry-aged T-bone steak which had no dry-aged taste or tenderness whatsoever, so I doubt it was. The meat was very chewy and full of gristle. As a side we were served sautéed vegetables which were clearly frozen, came lukewarm and soggy. I asked how the steak was seasoned and the waiter proudly explained how no seasoning at all is used before cooking - including salt (!) - which explained that there was no flavour. The kitchen or service sadly didn't seem to understand these fairly basic concepts of cooking and weren't willing or able to solve them.

The meat is just fantastic... there is nothing special about the atmosphere.

Just a lunch with my wife. I ordered a Dallas Steak and my wife ordered a Rib eye Steak. Dallas Steak came chewy and a bit cold.Apart from that was ok Rib eye Steak really good but the chips not good because it was covered in oil.Chips supposed to be dry if the quality is good and also if the oil whisk it was fried still good to fry. Generous portion size. Staff see you but you have to call them to take order and even to take payment. Overall it was a OK lunch.

I got a medium rare rib eye was very chewy as if it was frozen.

I ordered a well done steak and they bought me a medium. My friend ordered a medium steak but got a very very well done piece which was super dry and tasteless. We told the waiter and the manger came and tried to convince us that it was in fact medium. They did not even offer to make a new one. The worst part? They had the audacity to charge us for it, even though we sent it back!!! I do not recommend this place at all. This place deserves zero stars. Never ever going back to this place.

Amazing steaks friendly service but no alcohol licence but the the fresh orange juice was out of this world

Very good butchers. Steak well hung and delicious. Know what they are doing. Also, lovely local eggs. I have not eaten in the restaurant just bought from the butchers

It's a good place my steak was a little bit tough and they need to use proper steak knives apart from that it's worth a visit I'll by the way they don't serve alcohol you here bear that in mind when visiting

The best burgers I ate. Service was quick and food was delicious. I ate lokum burger and it was yummy 10/10

Well looked after premises, clean and lovely ambiance. It was upsetting that some of the positions from the menu were not available. Not sure why since meat is meat and the only difference were sauces it was served with. Overall one of the best places to have steaks.

The food was delicious, the salads and steaks were great. However the service was not what you would expect normally in Cyprus, rather slow and inattentive, which really let's this place down especially considering the price.
