This is an amazing new hotel/hostel in Karakol. The owners are fluent in Russian, Turkish and English and are incredibly nice. The breakfast is very good and the rooms are way above Kyrgyz standards. The Banya (Sauna) is nice and hot. I would absolutely recommend to not stay anywhere else when in Karakol!

This is a newly opened hotel and hostel that provide very clean and comfortable dormitory and also private double or twin rooms. The value of money is very high due to extremely welcoming, helpfull and friendly staff. The rooms are clean equipped with all you needs and full toiletries. The service is amazing with free and delicious breakfast made as per your preference. The location is less than 3 mins walk from the center of Karakol and all services.

Had a great stay here. The room was very handy and the beds were comfortable! The host is really friendly as well and helps you out with all you need. He even helped us get to the bus station on the day of departure. I would definitely go back here again!

Loved our stay here! The hosts are so helpful, welcoming and warm. I’m gluten intolerant and they were able to make some delicious breakfasts for me. I heard someone else there was vegan and they were also able to accommodate for them. Really appreciated the very clean and comfortable rooms. Would recommend Ordo to anyone staying in Karakol!

The hostel is incredibly clean. Stylish interior with a touch of Kyrgyz heritage. Very helpful owner. We chatted a bit and he is very willing to share his life experiences and Kyrgyz culture. We originally booked for one night and ended up staying three. Definitely recommended.

Best place to stay in Kyrgyzstan. Everything is brand new. There is a fully equipped kitchen, which can be used, a water tank to fill up your water bottles. The host and his wife go out of their way to help you (very good English). The breakfast is delicious. There is a Banya (sauna), which we totally recommend using after an exhausting day of hiking.

Very helpful and friendly service by Mars and others. We stayed in 3 different places in Karakol and this was by far the best one. Rooms were super fresh and clean, breakfast was excellent.

Fantastic hostel in karakol, very clean and modern. The proprietors went above and beyond to help us when our airline lost our luggage to bring us to pick it up at 2 in the morning. We really enjoyed staying here and would be back! (great breakfast too)

Mars and his family have created an exceptional guesthouse in Karakol. In a month of traveling, this was the most comfortable, clean, and well-appointed place we stayed. Walking distance to everything you want to see in Karakol. Lovely homemade breakfast every morning. Mars can provide info on all the hikes/activities you might be interested in, and is generally just great to talk to. Can’t recommend highly enough.

By far the best stay we had during our 2 week trip all over Kyrgyzstan. Our room was amazing, spotless, you could feel the sheets were smelling as fresh as in a upscale hotel, everything was super clean and new. The mattress was also extremely comfortable! Breakfast was great, first time we had fresh bread for breakfast in the country, runny fried eggs, fresh grinded coffe (yes!), etc. They were even kind enough to prepare us a take away breakfast for a night were we left very early. One night we had a flat tyre when we left for dinner and Mars insisted in coming to meet us to help us and make sure we were not overcharged. I can’t remember the last time I felt so sad for having to checkout from a hostel. Thank you so much for making Kyrgyzstan even more special for us. By the way, if you stay here you should try the restaurant with the google name β€œU Saidy” just down in the street - seems to be a local favorite and for a good reason!

Been on the road for 6 months and this is the best place I’ve stayed in. The room was very clean as well as comfortable with a nice hot shower which was great after a day of hiking. The owners were extremely kind and helpful - displayed when I had a couple of days being ill and they went out of their way to make sure I was okay. A real gem in Karakol.

Mars and family have created a quaint and cozy stay for travel base in Karakol. Excellent hospitality, clean rooms, good breakfast plus it's a great value. Major attractions like church, mosque are all walkable. Highly recommend if you are looking for a cozy homestay in Karakol.

I hope I can rate it more than five stars, it is really the best place I have stayed at in my entire life πŸ‘ŒπŸ» It is a genuine hospitality that comes from the heart, you feel home, you feel welcome

-Very clean, aesthetically pleasing, good breakfast, kitchen has all amenities for self-cooking like at home. Beds & pillow are comfortable and warm with duvet cover, electrical socket next to the bed and miniature light. Bonus points for mobile phone pouch to hold mobile while on charge overnight, never seen that before in many hostels. Bathroom inside the dorm room as opposed to a common area is very welcome, with good temperature and water pressure. Inclusion of curtains on the dorm beds for additional individual privacy would be my only recommendation for improvement overall if practically possible.

Great hostel and guest house. Good breakfast and snacks. The owner Mars is really nice, organized us a taxi driver to the Ski base and offered us a great dinner for New Years eve. The hostel also has an awesome Russian Banja. In walking distance to the city center and Ski rental places. Definitely one of the bests if not the best place to stay in the city. Thank you Mars for your hospitality!

A wonderful place in the downtown Karakol, Issyk-Kul district! The owners are the nicest couple who make everyone welcome with their hospitality. The bedding and towels are very clean! The rooms are light and warm even in the coldest season. The breakfast is served with extreme care and authentic Kyrgyz hospitality. Stayed here with our two kids and would love to back!

πŸ‘ Small hotel with very good services. Rooms are clean and tidy. There are common sitting rooms that you can chat with friends. Laundry service is provided and it is not expensive. That is good when you stay two nights here.

😠 The good: the location is very good and centrally located. Supermarket located in the same building. Decent WiFi. Several restaurants nearby within walking distance.
