It's a very nice place to stay in Karakol. The service is great, rooms are tidy and clean. Very comfortable beds. The host is a very unusual and well-educated person, he knows a lot of languages, so you will definitely find common interests and have a nice talk wherever you come from. His wife cooks tasty meals. It's my personal recommendation and my friends agree with it. Also, here you can order some activities such as horse riding in the mountains and sauna.

We spent a nice rest time here during our cycle trip all over the world and left our bikes here for 3 days during the hike to the lake. There is a big and well equipped kitchen, you can wash your clothes and the Sauna was amazing! Thanks to the lovely owners! Bim and Isi

Very good hostel! Owned by very friendly people. We were in the dorm and it had more than enough space for everyone. Two, albeit small, bathrooms for 6 beds. So ample facilities, clean and decently maintained. More than enough rooms to hang your clothes in case you have to do your laundry. Possibility of renting gear for a trek in the mountains. You can get good information from the host about the conditions. I would definitely go back here when visiting Karakol.

Great people, Jalil is a super helpful guy. We came in and we're made to feel comfortable right away. Lots of room to store our touring bikes. I'd be keen to come to a place like this. Good Internet, clean room, fair price. Perfect.

Would highly recommend this hostel. Very clean rooms, has a sauna and friendly atmosphere. The hosts (Jalil and his wife) are very accommodating and speak perfect English. They made us feel very at home. They even gave us a private dorm when the hostel was less busy. About a 20 minute walk to the centre of the town, has a supermarket a couple of minutes walk away. Would definitely come back

We stayed at Snow Leopard for 4 nights to go trekking and it was such a great base to explore Karakol and the surrounding area. Aizada and Jalil made us feel so welcome and helped us to organise our trek to Ala-Kul lake. Aizada also went out of her way to accomodate me as vegan and made some delicious vegan breakfasts! This is a great place for backpackers and hikers and the location is also great. Couldn't recommend Snow Leopard highly enough!

Jalil (the hostel owner) is such a nice guy. If you have any questions or requests, he will be able to help you, undoubtedly. His wife, who runs the hostel with him, is an incredibly kind woman and her English (as well as Jalil's) is phenomenal. I can not recommend this hostel enough, and I thank Jalil for the kindness he showed me while I was staying there over the summer.

Without doubt one of the best all round hostels I've ever stayed at. Great rooms, location, facilities, but most of all amazing owners. From eating traditional food with them, chatting about the area and most importantly drinking in the sauna, Jalil made us feel extremely welcomed. A proper good hostel this is.

A clean hostel with good facilities. Hostel owner Celil and his wife were a solution to our every need. They are very helpful and good people. There are markets close to the hostel. We felt very comfortable during our three nights stay. It's also a bike-friendly hostel. We safely put our bikes in a different place. We recommend it, especially for cyclists. Celil also took us to Almaty with his vehicle.

From far my best experience in Kyrgyzstan. Jaliko the owner of the place took so much of his time for us. He couldn't do best. He also has travelled all over the world, and he loves travellers. The rooms are so nice and cheap. You can ask Jaliko anything, if he can I will do. I definitely recommend. Thank you so much much for those crazy 3 days spent with you.

Amazing hostel! We had a really good time, the people are very helpful and friendly. We played a lot of chess with jalil (the host), and if you can beat him you will get a discount!

This guesthouse is amazing. The rooms are simple but clean and comfy, the food is cheap and good. Jaliko the manager is super friendly and funny, and his wife too. We shared beer and vodka together. He made the effort to bring us to the first bridge of the Ala Kol trek with his car. Would come again.

Great location and very comfortable and clean rooms. They have everything you need. The owners are very approchable and friendly, they will absolutely help you make a phone call reservation or renting you a tent or hiking poles if you need them. If you want to have a private room and bathroom for you but still enjoy the company of other guests or locals in the commons areas - such as a huge living room-, this is the perfect place! I would definitely come back!

This place is run by a very kind, knowledgeable and friendly husband and wife team. The rooms are clean and comfortable. Tea & coffee available for free which is a great plus. There's also a kitchen available for guests to use. A supermarket is very close by and local transport stops right outside to get to the centre easily.
