This guesthouse run by lovely young married couple. They do serve delicious breakfast and dinner. They do have Yurt and house options for accommodation and we chosed Yurt and it was not polyester and metal Yurts comes from China, it is really original Kyrgyz Yurt. In the evening, they did put fire heater for us to keep us warm before sleep. She is taking care of food and he is taking care of animals and around. You can also rent a horse from them. Highly recommended place

The upstairs double rooms were the best upgrade after 2 nights in tent/yurt on the Ala-KΓΆl trail. The valley is the prettiest, and this place offers enough comfort to take some time off, just relax. Some of the gmaps pictures feel a bit outdated - the buildings have probably been extended recently. Its no yurt-stay for sure - proper guesthouse w shower, wc, electricity, small shop. Best ever view.

Agreed a price on the phone from the owner, but when went to the Guesthouse they denied it and charged a higher price. The aggression on show and the suggestion that I was lying was poor from the Guesthouse. On top the beds were too small for anyone above 1.8m in height. Did not get a 1 star because food was decent and the owner made efforts to keep the guesthouse warm

after a long day of hiking nothing better than staying here , lovely family running the guesthouse , excellent facilities, delicious local food, the price also good. We stayed in a yurt, so warm and cozy. Can't recommend it more.

At least a five plus! Hiked up and spent three nights enjoying every moment there. Excellent facilities, warm welcome and information to maximize your chance of making it to the lake. Go for it! Highly recommend . Don't forget to plan some time at the hot springs ♨️

We had such a great time here. We had a very nice room for 5 people. The owner is very kind, he speaks English and did really care about us. Altyn-Arashan is such a beautiful place. The road uphill is in a very bad condition (it takes around 1:30 hours to cross those ca. 15 kilometers), you can ask the owner to arrange the transport uphill for you.

We hiked up to the this valley in mid October. The hike was very easy, 4 hours in total with us stopping at some places and enjoying the Fall view around. The guest house was very warm and pretty cozy. The hosts were very welcoming and nice. I would definitely come back there sometimes during a warmer season.

Great place to stay in Altyn Arashan. The attention of Uchkun and his family was wonderful and the installations were incredible. 100% recommendable!

We stayed for one night and it was one the best nights I have had. Very welcoming hosts and facilitated cultural exchange. Both hosts speak beautiful English (and probably many other languages too). Heard that they are building a sauna too.

Perfect spot at which to rest and take in the stunning scenery after the hike up. The guesthouse is clean and comfortable, and the hosts are extremely kind and welcoming and full of stories if you want to hear them. Quiet and cozy and peaceful and highly recommended. Pet Leo for me when you visit!

Had such a nice stay here while on a horse riding trip. We slept in a comfortable yurt, with amazing food and really nice people and beautiful views. Hot springs near by is a plus!!

Stayed with Ucha in August 2019, he received me like a member of his family. I loved the food the family prepared for me and the hot showers available after a long walk. Unfortunately, coming down from Ala Kul, it's the last resort but it's well worth the extra 10 minute walk.

We had a great time in this guesthouse in the middle of April. Nice and cozy, very friendly owners and very good food. They even prepared it vegan for us. Hot springs are not far away and a lot of marmots to see. Can only recommend staying here.

Amazing and peaceful place in the valley. You can sleep in yurts or rooms, they have breakfast lunch and dinner and organize tours. Warm recommendations!

I stayed here for 16 nights, departing back to Karakol today, after a delightful mountain break :) The facilities here are excellent! Firstly, not all guesthouses have internal, western-style toilets - for me, this was a necessity. Likewise, not all guesthouse have comfortable surrounds, inside and out - however, 'Ala-Kul' certainly does! My time was superbly spent - the family being most generous and kind - and helpful in all respects. I can well recommend this establishment to all, and I hope to return soon myself in the not to distant future. Breakfast, Lunch and dinner are offered, as well-as a packed-lunch option for day hikers. There is a traditional Yurt, as-well-as shared, and private /double or single-bed room options :)

Me and my friends have spent three nights in yurt at Ala-kul guest house and it was wonderful time. We took a trek to Ala-kul lake (9 hours to the pass and return), next day horse trip through the valley. The hosts are very kind and helpful. We recommend the place!
