😠 They were extremely rude and wouldn't accommodate our religious attire. When we politely explained everything and told them how we went horseback riding with our religious attire before, they would reply in a very rude manner. We drove 2 hours to just to ride here. We could feel the racism. We ended... People often mention ride,

They were extremely rude and wouldn't accommodate our religious attire. When we politely explained everything and told them how we went horseback riding with our religious attire before, they would reply in a very rude manner. We drove 2 hours to just to ride here. We could feel the racism. We ended up finding a ranch 15 minutes away and had one of the best experiences !

My review is not based off the horseback riding experience but the customer service we experienced. We were refused the riding experience because we were told we can only ride if we wear helmets over our turbans. My father was even told to tie his turban smaller to meet their requirements. I understand that every place has their requirements but having done horse back riding multiple times at different ranches and other activities that require helmets we’ve always been able to sign off on a waiver that says we are refusing helmets. They kept insisting that we can only ride with helmets which I can understand that they may not have a waiver to sign off but the way we were treated and the demeanour this ranch showed towards us was just so disrespectful and rude, the intention of arrogance and racism was present behind all of their actions towards us. We felt extremely belittled and the racism was very visible.

Discrimination!!!! Poor customer service!!!Before we went there, we made phone calls and they would only speak French even though the girl that’s on the phone knows how to speak English VERY WELL. After she heard us speaking English, she just put us on hold and never responded after and eventually hung up. When we tried to make a second phone call, no one answers. So we tried using a different phone number, they picked up right away..

Had an enjoyable morning with our 4 year old daughter. She went for a pony ride. Then we fed some farm animals. They are even sheltering a family of adorable raccoons that will soon be released to the wild!

Amazing experience and lesson! Very kind and accommodating owners. A women-led farm as well. Our 8 year old loved the experience - we will be back soon! The farm was fully decorated for Halloween and the various farm animals are really fun to watch. There is a well stocked on-site store too with gear but also small toys, candies and snacks. Merci!

Sebastien and his team are wonderful. Extremely kind and friendly with clear and easy to follow instructions for the horse ride. They care very deeply for all of their animals and even take in rescue horses which is amazing. Wonderful experience with our family. Would definitely return.

We went for a wonderful horseback ride witb our two children aged 4 and 5. The were accompanied by a trainer. The activity was a ton of fun and safe. Ranch Ladouceur also has a bunch of animals to see for a light 5$ fee. Great day overall!

So cute to see a little farm that has grown recently and can care for animals in need. A great outing for a fall afternoon :)
