very relaxing hotel!

Went to this place on a recommendation in the black forest. If you’re looking for a really nice, quaint, spa and resort, this is your place. It’s all secluded but surrounded by the black forest and many hiking trails and places to walk. They also have horseback riding along with their spa. Staff are amazing and great service great smiles, very friendly. In fact, we left one of our pieces of luggage behind, and they shipped it to us. The restaurant is amazing, hands-down the most delicious meals I had while in Europe. I even went to a Michelin star restaurant in Frankfurt. This place was better! The husband wife team have this place down! Rooms are nice clean quaint with a little balcony views. Loved it. The spa, same thing clean crisp, everything you need in a spa, place to relax place to sweat and an outside pool. Would I go back here again, absolutely! 👍🏽

What a wonderful restaurant. Great service. Amazing medium size wine list. Delicious fresh cooking. Everything was well delivered. Next time I would like to book a room. One of these gems in the blackforest. It's official I am a fan. Bravo 👏 ofcourse little things can be always be improved. The sauce for the trout was a little thin. Delicious well cooked trout to the point. Great Spätzle. Darm I almost forgot the totally delicious porkbelly. Top of the blackforest

We just spent a weekend there and wished we could have stayed longer. The staff is super friendly and very personable. Food meets any and every demand and then some. The location and the facilities are and inspiration to relax and pull yourself out of a daily routine. Specially, not having an internet connection, handy signal or a tv. We definitely recommend it.

We went for a "testdrive" at this hotel and we choose the Gault Milieu menu and we were in awe. It was sooooo good!! The flavours , the textures, temperature, the complementing 3 wines, the rustic interior and calming view. 10 out of 10!!!

Amazing location right in the middle of a lovely glade. Cozy and private. Very friendly hosts. Authentic. Amazing restaurant. No WiFi and mobile network - a perfect rehab from busy everyday life. Good starting point for hikes and bike tours.
