On my vacation to Panama, my friends and I decided to go and take in some authentic Panamanian theatre arts (even if we could not fully understand what was being said, since we are English speakers). Nonetheless after journeying through the old town of Casco Antigo we finally found the location. To our surprise however we learnt that Teatro Amador was an upscale restaurant and night club. So although disappointed we did go back another night to see what it was all about. Entry to the club was $15 with an open bar where you had unlimited access to particular drinks. $5 if you wished not to drink. The club refers to itself as "The circus" and at a point throughout the night had persons dressed in costumes who went around dancing with the patrons. The aesthetics was good interms of the lightning and smoke effect. The club seemed to cater moreso to a younger audience as more teens were observed to have been there. All in all the experience was different and entertaining to see the locals in their element. I particularly loved the reggaeton music.

Uncomfortably hot "VIP" section. Was charged for drinks even though we had purchased tickets that were supposed to include an open bar. The DJ was one of the worst we had heard, ever. He played no more than about 10 seconds of each song and his mixing skill equaled that of a seven-year old.

Can get pretty crowded in here and it's pretty small considering the large number of people that goes here. But for live music it's and excellent place.

Great music, crossover. One of the best places in town to party. A bit pricey though. It tends to be full of 18-25 year olds.

They promote a general open bar from 10 to 2 and when you go they tell you that until 2 it is only for VIP people after that they don't let you sit in the chairs without buying drinks.

It was a great place, you may listen to a great variety of music!!! There are not too much tables, to sit down... don't bring handbags, it is important to book your ticket, it cost me $12, awesome experience

If you are not from Panama DO NOT COME HERE! They will charge you twice or triple the entrance fee making you think your are getting open bar. Then you walk inside and get ripped off a second time by the bartender all while making you seem extremely unwelcomed. Worst "club" I've ever experienced in my life.

The people who work there treat you very poorly on multiple occasions, the quality of the drinks was not good, even the price for water bottles was too pricy, way too crowded (barely able to move at all) and they left us waiting outside until 10pm to get in, despite the website clearly stating it would start at 9pm. An overall bad experience.
