After
coming
here
for
over
a
year,
I
have
to
say
that
this
is
the
best
restaurant
in
town.
Others
come
close
but
will
never
surpass
the
quality
and
quantity
of
food
that
you
get
here.
This
is
the
place
you
come
to
eat
the
best
food
at
a
great
price.
You
will
always
leave
here
satisfied.
Look
at
a
few
of
these
menu
items:
pollo
asado
con
patacones
o
papas
fritas
(roast
chicken
with
fried
green
plantains
or
fries),
puerco
asado
(roast
pork),
camarones
con
hojas
de
mostaza
(shrimp
with
mustard
greens).
All
these
meats
in
particular
are
made
Chinese
style
with
Panamanian
influence.
As
my
friend
described,
it's
"comida
china
panameñizada"
-
Panamanianized
Chinese
food.
If
you
go
by
the
textbook
definition
of
"fusion
food,"
then
this
place
gets
credit
for
being
a
pioneer.
This
is
the
very
first
non-franchise
(i.e.
Don
Lee)
Chinese-Panamanian
fusion
restaurant
in
town.
It
was
only
a
matter
of
time.
Marrying
Chinese
food
with
Panamanian
ingredients
and
side
dishes
was
inevitable.
Their
food
is
fantastic,
marrying
the
best
of
both
cultures.
This
is
becoming
a
tourist
attraction
as
well.
