Great in town (Cabo del San Jose) for dinner. It feels like a place for locals but tourist have found it. Service was great. Atmosphere is great. Drinks were on the weak side so we asked for an extra shot for our margaritas. Food was good and seemed special but the menu was difficult to know what you were really getting. Pictures would be helpful. Prices were reasonable and we would return.

This is our all time favorite place in Cabo. I've been here about a dozen times over the last 18 years and it never disappoints. I always get the stone bowl (the new menu uses it's Spanish name and doesn't have pictures but they knew what I meant). Flank steak and chicken are our favorites. We also get the pork tacos which are shawarma style stacked into a rotating spit and sliced off onto your taco with a slice of pineapple at the end. Excellent food at an excellent price. Come early and preferably on a weekday to avoid waiting a long time for a table.

We looked for a restaurant that looked authentic and had some live entertainment and this place came up. We called ahead and ask and make sure that they have live music, they told us yes on the phone, but when we got there they didn’t which was a bummer. The place feels authentic and has an interesting decor. After looking at the menu you can tell that there are items targeting locals like tacos ranging from 32-48 pesos and other items targeting tourists like the rolled cheese for 160 pesos or a pina colada for the same price that isn’t even in their menu. The best item we ordered was the arranchera volcano aka flank steak. I also had an al pastor taco, but it wasn’t that great. The shredded beef quesadilla was alright. The rolled cheese was a bit of a disappointment for us, it’s too much for two people and we basically had half of it and threw away the rest. It would work best for a group of four or more, still I wouldn’t order it again for 8$. The chicken taco was dry. In terms of drinks the pina colada was good, but a bit pricy, I had a great one in San Lucas for half the price. The mango strawberry drink was ok too. Everyone was nice, some spoke a bit of English, but called in some other folks to help us communicate. We liked the atmosphere and would go back for more flank steak and something new.

We came here on the regular while in San Jose. Good Mexican cuisine at good prices. Friendly staff and good service. The restaurant seems quite popular but we never had to wait to be seated no matter what time we arrived. They open the upstairs when more tables are needed. Love the decor and live music!

This place never disappoints! 😊 The restaurant has definitely changed over the years in terms of its size. Their upstairs seating is nice. Prices are decent. The food is very tasty. Loved their Molcajete. 🤤

Very authentic mexican food restaurant and many locals love this place. it's very closed to the airport so if you get a rental car, visit here before you check in the resort/hotel. highly recommend pork taco and grilled cheese with modelo. very pleasant servers and hard working people will give you great experiences

Amazing food and drink. Absolutely loved the house special with meat and cheese in a volcanic stone bowl. Was a real twist to the dish. Staff were very friendly and attentive. Highly recommended

On a side street of San Jose del Cabo this rests is popular with locals and tourists. About 50/50 mix on a Monday night. They have a singer entertaining that is not cheesy and provides nice background ambiance. We elected to sit upstairs where it was less crowded and got to see the stars. Food was awesome all the way around. They start off with a huge salsa tray. Daughter loved the watermelon juice. Only disappointment was the margaritas, will order beer next time. We had three tacos for our daughter and then two adults split the molcajete (wonderful combo of chorizo, steak, pork rib meat, cactus, onions and cheese all cooked in a hot stone). Canes with flour and corn tortillas. Best dish of the trip so far. Finished with Neapolitan Flan that was awesome as well. Total bill with nice tip was only around $60. Highly recommend!

We have been here before and had an amazing meal. This time was a bit disappointing. My al pastor tacos were kinda cold and the stake fajitas were sad looking. However, our waitress was very friendly and pleasant.

Great Mexican restaurant off the beaten path. Always very lively and friendly atmosphere. Sanitizing mats and hand spray as you enter. There seems to be a good mix of foreign and local tourists. I haven't ever had anything bad here, the tacos, volcanoes, fajitas, and tostada's are all very good. The molcajete is beautifully presented and has great flavor but has more cactus than meat and is a little pricey. Service has always been friendly and prompt. The larger the party the more "extra" charges seem to appear on the bill. I have had some fairly expensive meals here ($20-30), although given the amount of food and drinks it would have been way more at home. I'll still be back the next time I'm in town.

The food and service are always good. Prices are good as well. I had a flank steak classic taco a marinated pork volcanoes (tostada) and a cow feet tostada. Everything was good bud I don't think I'll order the cow feet tostada again. 🤔 we love eating here. Will definitely be back.

Great stuffed potato and pork taco. Neat atmosphere. The sauces and accompaniments were awesome. My wife’s potato was not steaming like mine, so I assume it was sitting for a while before serving and we waited quite a while after ordering - the table next to us arrived later and served the same dish first.

Excellent food (try Tacos Volcanoes) and outstanding, friendly service. Prices are less than half of the Centro or hotel zone. Highly recommend! Fried plantains without sugar or topping are the perfect dessert!

We went there with great expectation and they somehow over passed them. All the food is delicious. The waitress were very welcoming and gave us a great service.

The food was amazing, the atmosphere and live music were great! Jesse and Carlos were our wait staff and I don’t anyone wasn’t hustling there. If you want an authentic Mexican dining experience, this is it and you won’t be disappointed. Also, if it’s seafood you’re after, this isn’t the place.

Super cute restaurant with great service and amazing tacos! Reasonable prices. Would highly recommend. Pastor tacos were 10/10. Generous portions! I’m used to getting 3 tacos but only needed 2 here.

Good food, good prices and good environment. We got a little bit of everything and it was all FANTASTIC. The flavored waters were great too.

This place makes your belly happy!!! The horchata comes in a big mug and I recommend adding a shot of rum or Bailey's. So refreshing. When you sit down, they bring you a tray of condiments, salsa, cucumbers and sauteed onions--love it! The tacos and tostadas come with heaps of tender meat. I highly recommend the marinated pork.

The marinated pork al pastor tacos are great, and the mocajetes bowls are great. Don't forget to try the fried cheese

Best tacos with authentic atmosphere in Cabo San Lucas. Staff is friendly and very welcoming of tourist. Our second time to restaurant during our week long vacation provided a truly memorable experience when a three piece band showed up to serenade us to a famous Latin song. It was awesome!
