Simple, tasty local food, in a casual setting. Wine selection could be improved, but everyone including our picky children was pleased with their meal.

Average restaurant with some quality of food, a typical tourist spot on the main "road" where always someone will pass by which is our case as well... We ordered two fish soups and after that I ordered whole fish on creole traditional way and my wife ordered pizza with some shrimp and garlic, because we saw pizza oven behind (I told her don't take a risk) 😅. My fish was tasty I cannot say but pizza was something else which may remind me on the pizza, dough was like a kreker and on the top I'm not joking half kg of cheese (one slice is enough you will be full). On the end we came out from the restaurant with full stomach but come on this is a joke! There are so many better places don't waste your time and money here! 🌴

The food is mostly tasty and more than enough, but the service can be more polite and faster...The coctails are good, and of you buy two, you get an extra special coctail 😊 prices - affordable

Very Bad I came today for breakfast there was no honey the orange jam was bitter not to mention the cold treatment and actually not being helpful at all!

It's now Orchid restaurant. Still bad as before. Waited almost 1 hour for grilled chicken. Chewy meat and not grilled at all. Potatoes were undercooked. I stopped eating after a few bites. Two stars for service as I did not have to pay for the meal.

We have eaten here as a group touring La Digue,the programme stated we had an included lunch yet we had to pay extra for beverages. There was a buffet and I have been reprimanded by the chef because you have to choose the food from right to left even though there was no queue. The chef serves you meat and fish,you cannot choose the pieces yourself. Food is average,at times too spicy or too dry. No desserts.no fruits.the restroom is disgusting.

Nice staff, they gave us food even after the closing time and it was tasty. Fish and chips was really good, so do chicken fried rice but a little bit salty. Nice place.

We have seen the bad commends and decided to go independent of the rating for a short lunch. Because of some comments we decided for a chicken curry, a chicken salad and a mixed salad. The service was ok. Nothing to complain nothing to remember. The food was very positive surprise. The salads well arranged, super fresh and good taste also the one with the chicken. The curry was really nice how you would expect in such a region. Well balanced spices and tender chicken. Some potato’s completed the nice curry sauce experience. Definitely worth to try. The Ambiente is ok. But not exciting. But for a lunch break I could definitely recommend the place. But maybe don’t order burgers or other non domestic food ;-)

The waiter poored a glass of wine of me, that was the start. After 30 minutes of waiting I asked where is our soups and after 5 minutes we got them microwave hot. That was the best part, because I ordered grilled octopus and it was the worst even in my life. It was cold, not well cleaned and not well cooked. I really not recomend this place.

Pizza - waited for very long time and was the worst we have ever eaten (= just tried).
