Great place with ocean view. Tuna steak was delicious, cocktails, prawns and octopus salad were also great. The only place in Seychelles where we came twice. Expect 10% extra charge for service

We loved the place. We sat at the bar facing the beach and we enjoyed the view. As we were not too hungry we shared a portion of fish and chips. We thought the portion was quite big. We were also happy with the mixed fresh fruit juice and a cold Seybrew beer.

Did not have the best food in La Digue when having lunch at Chez Jules. They have many choices on the menu but the price is just too high, sorry but with or without a beach view does not justify being so pricey. We did not find most of the staff to be so friendly , they are efficient but a bit more empathy would shine a bit more light in this place . Food was ok!

We went to the restaurant because it is one of the most Famous in the island. We went to have dinner for our first night in la Digue. Let’s start with the positif so we can focus on the rest : the food was pretty good. Not great, but good enough. - Price tag was absolutely nonsense. Way too expensive for what you get. ( 50€ for some grilled shrimps with a sauce, and white rice for exemple ). - The restaurant is very far from pretty much everything on the island. You have to take a taxi that will cost you at least 500 roupies. - We were the only one in the restaurant. Which is a bit creepy. The decoration was too basic and lightning was not good. Overall, we would definitely not recommend this restaurant for diner.

One of the best meals on the island. Sweet love cocktail was divine. We tried the Bat Curry, was really good, fish salad and fresh fruit salad. Beautiful views and beach ⛱️

Would I visit again? Yes, definitely. It's pricey but the view and food quality are still worth any SCR. Was the food delicious? Absolutely, we had Octopus Curry, roasted Octopus and calamari fritter. Everything was very well amde and portions were large. Prices are on Seychelles level, stuff your wallets! :) Sorry, I have to say, the octopus curry is to die for. 😄 Price-performance ratio? Good, it isn't a bargain but contrary to other places on Seychelles the portions are generous and the food is well prepared. Service style? A bit touristic and with the effective charme of a German army kitchen but definitely taking care of you. Atmosphere? Classical beach bar / restaurant. Relaxed , a lot of wood, laid back music, the sound of waves, bicycles passing by... can I stay for another two drinles? Comments: A must visit on Le Digue. 20 min by bikes, depending on condition and (bike) material some very short challenging hills. I would recommend to ride instead of walking 50 min.

Shocking service So many people was recommending this place and finally we came to experience this “amazing place” . I don’t have much good to say apart of good food Yes. The service was absolutely shocking in my eyes. First time we came there and Asian young man made some unhappy comments about us pay by card. “ you have no cash???!” No sorry we don’t have enough cash. Rolled eyes and took the payment. Second time we have a chance to this place and what a surprise we been served by the same young man. We sat down to the chairs with the view to the sea next to some man who was finishing his lunch. Later on he left we ended up sitting in the middle. As soon as we got served with the food just before I managed to out some food in my mouth this young gentlemen asked us to move to fit a bigger family to the view by the sea.. moved all the plates ( thanks good didn’t moved me) and left… when I asked him can I have same chocolate sprinkles on the iced coffee like we had yesterday he just said we don’t have any … and left… after we finished food we been waiting until someone actually give us the bill , I was looking around the restaurant to every single waiter in the eyes trying to ask for bill and guys was more busy with people who just came in and ignoring those who finished the food . After 20 minutes waiting for attention I had to request bill next to their till lady. As much as this place cook food nicely I would not return there ever again. It’s not homely cosy restaurant at all it felt like it’s all just about fit everyone in get them food to the table and get cash quickly…

Great food. Great location. Atmosphere not quite relaxed: lots of people (many with silly hats), lots of moving, very efficient staff, high pace. Not very relaxing, in spite of the beautiful view. Lots of great food. Most expensive I have seen here thus far. It was really good, but is the price in sync... 🤔

Very delicious food, try the tuna steak(medium) in coconut milk. The service is helpful but not so smily and kind... Placement of some ventilators would be great. Beautiful view.

Very good dinner. I can recommend their signature fish and the tuna steak. Also a nice journey by bike in the evening. Be sure to make a reservation. I‘d say it’s one of the top locations for dinner on La Digue and I prefer it over the crowded places near the Harbour in the city. Definitely worth the journey!

Visit Chez Jules for a once in a lifetime experience…Awsome creolle food..Worth first of all if you are not in the area..Beautiful place at the shore ! Super fast service and nice staff…Portions are so good and insanely delicious dishes.I got to meet Carol, Jules’ daughter who was extremely kind with us..I highly recommended and must try when on La Digue

So starting with the view. It was the best view we had compared to all the other restaurants in La digue. The food was simply delicious, the the price is bit higher then other restaurants. Their cocktails are okay, but i have had better. Surprisingly the staff in the place was a but weird and they looked lazy. I like cozy & homely feeling in restaurant but the staff here was borderline unprofessional

Amazing place to have lunch with a view. Highly recommend the grilled octopus and the fresh juices - the bigger juices we got in the island. Relation quality/quantity/price was one of the fairest one we had in terms of dine in restaurants.

Perfect place to enjoy a nice lunch with a great view. The service is really fast. The prices on the menu are really high compared with other bars/restaurants on the island.
