Was told .30 min wait, got called after 15 minutes. Waitress was patient with us when we ordered. Overall, it was a pleasant visit, worth coming here every time.

First of all, our waiter was amazing. I wish I Got his name. He was fun and energetic and very attentive. We never went without a refill of our drinks or our soup and salad. Our food was fantastic. Perfect temperature and delicious. The meatballs were huge. The shrimp and chicken carbonera was so good. We loved the whole night. We will be back soon.

Under promised and over delivered starting from our wait time for a table. Quick service that was appreciated trying to time going to a movie after lunch. Same dishes I remember from years past. Good options for my kiddos too.

We had great service yesterday with hot, yummy food. Olive Garden is one of the few restaurants that has Weight Watcher friendly meals that are absolutely tasty and filling (see WW app). Our server Jasmine was attentive without being intrusive and seemed like a happy gal! Even offered to help figure out the gadget on the table for payment (it was pretty easy tho). Our soup, salad & breadsticks lunch was $20–great price for a nice sit-down restaurant. It can be noisy in most Olive Gardens, but we’ve found that right at opening, it’s quite pleasant 😊 The To-Go orders are fantastic! The best packaging around for your items; very generous salad portions are included! Just park at one of the designated spots, and they deliver to you! 🍝

Dined here by myself. Hostess was friendly. Seated me in the bar area and said someone would be by to buss the table. Waiter showed up about 15 mins later to take my order, table was still dirty so he kindly bussed the table and wiped it down. I placed my order and my entree came out 20 mins AFTER two other parties that arrived well after me with more people in their parties (about 40 minute wait total for only one entree). Waiter was apologetic but was super over worked, I think he forgot to follow up on my entree and Togo order. I think although he was very friendly, he needs more experience on the job or more assistance on the floor on busy nights. He dipped something cloth he was carrying in my alfredo boat twice (accidentally..he apologized) but when I asked him to bring me another Alfredo To go, he just brought me a to go cup to pack up the Alfredo that he’d dipped his cloth napkin in. I don’t like to be difficult so I just took it. He seemed overwhelmed enough. Also, my salad bowl was literally only 1/4 full, whoever prepared that salad should have known better. Management also seemed overwhelmed and didn’t check on anyone in my section. And when I ate my Togo entree the next day, there was a hard piece of black plastic in my ravioli (see picture) that hurt my tooth. Management needs to step it up here at Grossmont. I simply won’t be returning.

I had not been to Olive Garden in years. It was very crowded even for a late dinner at Grossmont but had phone check in seating, friendly staff, food good.

The food was great, with the exception of the bread, which was pretty stale. My family and I waited for what seemed to be about 20 minutes for the server to come to our table. He was very polite and apologetic, and was noticeably sweating from the running around. They appeared to be short staffed, so I managed to be understanding. All and all, we had a great dinner, and the service was good. We will return.

We like going to Olive Garden in La Mesa. Food is good especially with a glass of wine! The Chicken Marsala fettuccine is really good. Only issue we have had at this location is for the third time we have been seated at a dirty table with crumbs that needs to be wiped down. Our server gets a 5 star... but the hostess/buser gets 2 stars for seating us at a dirty table. That's the 2 stars for service. However no reflection on our server, she was great!
