Great spot for a photo opportunity of the peak summit of Mount Teide. Take warm clothing especially during the cooler months as temperatures here and at the peak are much lower than at sea level.

If travelling to Tenerife you can't miss a trip to El Teide. Even don't go till over 3000m at over 2000 still breaking breath. This is a unique experience in life. If brave enough to go to the crater be sure you book this several weeks in advance as there is a limited number of visitors per day and you need to fill in a form ( free) and bring your passport with you. All online search for El Teide Admission.

A smaller hiking trail with an impressive view in 2000 m height.

Nice spot to watch the stars during a moonless night if an actual nocturnal visit to the top of El Teide is not an option.

The better place to start the hike of Roques de Garcia. Not many parking spots (~10) but as most people just stop there, if you wait a little someone probably leave. There are even 4 bins for trash seperation at the entrance to the trail.

Another place were you could stop and enjoy the scenery around the mountain. Along this main road there plenty other stops for viewing and walking around.

It was great again! Down at sea level the weather is cloudy, 22°C, but here... Even with some hazy cloudy sunshine, it is 33°C! My favorite adventure is to go up riding a motorbike! Going through the clouds, getting wet and surfacing to the sun and being dried up... Fantastic feeling! ❤️👍

The museum is rather small (and the video exhibition is closed due to COVID-19), but the botanic gardens next to it are definitely worth a visit.

👍👍 Lovely spot for incredible view and to admire the natural wonder of the volcanic rocks. The Climb was fairly easy but recommended to wear appropriate shoes.
