Unfortunately, we could only look into the clouds from this Mirador today (04.05.22 - 11 a.m.). It's a shame because, as we know, the view down is fantastic. But since the great rock formations “Piedra la Rosa” (Rose Rocks) are practically next door, the stop was more than worth it. You can get there from the parking lot down a flight of stairs, through a small tunnel and up a flight of stairs again. This way you avoid walking across the busy street.

The “Stone Rose” can be viewed free of charge. Looks interesting. There is a large parking lot on the other side. In order not to have to walk (the short stretch) on the street, there is an underpass that takes you directly and safely to Piedra La Rosa.

The signage leading to the “sculpture” needs to be renewed. Otherwise everything is ok!

Pretty natural curiosity. The day was fading. Also, we were not able to do the short route on foot.

Undoubtedly a probably unique rock formation! It's just a shame that the route there is probably being used as a public toilet. Therefore it is best not to go through the underpass if you have parked on the opposite side...

A nice stop on the way to Teide. Here you are at an altitude of almost 1500 meters and can enjoy the view. You can also take a deep breath here after the winding road that continues afterwards. It's nice that when you look down you can see the cloud cover that extends to 1200 to 1500 meters in altitude due to the trade winds.

A very nice view over the Orotava valley and the Teide. Unfortunately, you can also see the devastation and impact of the forest fire of this year 2023. What a fire can do. It's still worth making a photo stop.

The TF21 road which leads to the Teide volcano is full of surprises with panoramic views of the volcano or this original geological formation. To have

Beautiful rock shaped like a rose. Amazing what nature can do. If you go up the mountain you will see this rock from the road on the left, it's in a corner. Follow the road around the corner so you can park your car safely. From there you can walk to the rose-rock.

A very interesting rock formation. I parked in the bigger car park and then walked under the road to the rock. There are so many wonderful things to see on this island.

Nice place with great view to Teide mountain and interesting rock in shape of flower as main attraction. Additional fun I've got by following the way under the road.
