We
were
hiking
the
GR131,
just
climbed
to
1600
metres
when
we
were
completely
soaked.
We
decided
to
go
down,
all
wet,
suffering
and
getting
very
desperate.
Via
Google
maps
we
found
this
location,
which
seemed
like
the
only
option.
We
walked
another
hour
to
get
there,
but
it
was
the
refuge
we
hoped
for.
Unfortunately
there
were
no
rooms,
but
right
away,
the
Danish
owner
couple
started
looking
for
accommodation
for
us.
Meanwhile,
we
could
dry
at
their
fireplace,
we
got
handed
towels,
changed
into
dry
clothes,
and
were
handed
tea
and
an
excellent
pumpkin
soup.
The
food
was
served
by
a
very
humorous
Spanish
chef,
Miguel.
The
Panna
cotta
was
otherworldly.
After
our
meal,
the
owners
offered
to
drive
us
down
to
our
accomodation.
We
felt
very
safe,
having
been
welcomed
with
such
open
arms.
Seldom
experienced
such
selflessness.
