Lots of great info and examples of regional weaving styles and patterns and a small gift shop. Well worth the 15bs entry fee for a self guided tour. You can fly through the exhibit or take as much time as you want. Photos are allowed.

Passing by with some clients to get a better idea about the textiles than in the Museum :-) the place and the Museum's fleet are very good, most of them look like they are still current and are still used, the new generations of weavers Textiles almost no longer handle new stories or representations, which is what textiles tell us about ancestors and their culture but..... congratulations

If you are in La Paz, the museum is a must. The original clothing, history and explanation behind each weaving is clear and educational. A big window into the Andean cultures through their weavings and costumes. I recommend it

An incredible collection of the ancestral textile knowledge of Bolivia. An independent Miraflores museum that preserves items of great historical value. A mandatory stop if you pass through La Paz.

Apparently it no longer functions as a museum, it doesn't even have a sign. ✨

Loved the textile art and information about their cultural significance. Incredibly high-quality wares in the gift shop. Or at least there were when I went 16 years ago - I bought my dad a wallet, and he's still using it today!
