Someone stole me 500 us dollars because the owner and his staff refused to give me the key of my room. Not recommended at all. I had to stop my trip around bolivia and perú because of this. They ruined my hollidays.

The hostel got a nice rooftop but I did not understood the price system. I paid a different amount every night I stayed there (5 nights) and I was upset because it got more expensive. The same happened with the laundry service, prices changed. Also there is no rules in the rooms so if get pretty noisy because people don’t care, my bed got “occupied” twice by other people during my stay… So it is actually complicated to sleep. For half of the bed there are no plugs working to charge phone. I think the price is really expensive compared to the quality of the service.

I stayed 2 nights in the 4 bed dorm before changing to another hostel. There was only 1 plug in the whole room behind someone else's bed! No mirror in the room, or lockers, just small ones in reception. There were two bathrooms on floor 7 but the shower only worked in one of them and that was lukewarm. There was not really a very fun vibe about the place. The bar was expensive and always empty. The WiFi password is not offered on check in and changes with every floor, which is annoying. Handy that they have a kitchen and it's next to the bus station if you are arriving at odd times of the day but it is a little far from downtown.

This place is perfect for staying in La Paz, super close to the bus station and a 5-10 minute walk to the centre. They serve really delicious breakfast, have a beautiful rooftop bar and the staff are very friendly and helpful. Particularly Maggie, we returned back to stay at the hostel 3 times after going out and exploring Bolivia and she was always there to greet us with a smile, knew absolutely everything about catching flights, busses, tours, where to go to eat and even helped us with our broken spanish. Overall, can't recommend this hostel enough. We will be back again in a week or so before we leave Bolivia :)

Nice clean room in good location with great rooftop view and hang out area. Pity they charge you for ketchup with the meals, brought me the wrong dish with no refund, and SEVEN PERCENT card fee is too high.

Great value and very clean. Feels like a nice hotel with a large rooftop space and restaurant. Staff and owner were very welcoming and nice.

Nice hostel with large rooftop and nice restaurant. Central in that it is near the bus station. Maybe 10/15 minute walk from tourist areas (this didn’t bother us much). We had a private room which was pretty cold both day and night but warm blankets and a heater is supplied. Shower does go a bit hot and cold. Laundry service poor. Some of our clothes still came back dirty. Lift on our floor was broken which was a little inconvenient. More exercise for us, no problem :) overall pleasant stay!

Good. Pretty cheap and decent private rooms, which is just what we needed after Huayna Potosi. Excellent restaurant upstairs with a great view. Location is good for the bus station, not the best for restaurants/cable car/main sights downtown. Overall atmosphere is a bit cold/lacking.

It's painted up pretty but average overall. Good parking for motorcycles and bikes. Rooms are adequate. Showers ok although our shared bathroom hah no shower door or curtain and the bathroom was always soaked. Good location albeit lots of drunks wandering round. Downstairs across the road is a fabulous calzone or pizza joint. We are there every night. The hostel has a great area on the rooftop with a cafe. The service is pretty lousy, we had to order things 3 times before we eventually got the food or coffee.

Location is good right by the bus station and it’s only a 15 mins walk into town. Views from the rooftop are amazing. However if you want to get some decent sleep it’s not the right place, they have gigs and loud music playing every night which we didn’t realise before booking so impossible to get any sleep even with earplugs before midnight. Also there was no hot water at all during our stay.

location is good for bus terminal but that’s about it. Booked a private room and at first they told us it wasn’t available early and once we asked for a dorm then suddenly the room was available. More importantly — bathroom in private room looked like it hadn’t been cleaned… soap scum in the shower, hair everywhere, toenail clippings on the floor… no hot water either, deceptive advertising. Stay somewhere else. Credit card has 7% fee too. Way too high. Also don’t do laundry here - go to lavamatic express laundry around the corner. 13bs/kilo and it was the best service I’ve had in South America. Clothing came back so clean and smelled delicious on a 2 hr turnaround time!

Bar is cool, rooms are clean and fit for purpose. If you like your clothes to remain unstained however don’t use their laundry. Apparently they don’t know how to do so - I all my white t shirts I put in came out with brown stains. Wifi doesn’t work in the rooms either. You can do better in La Paz

We spent 4 nights there. The room was spacious, clean, the bed was comfortable and the room warm in general. The shower was working well and warm. The wifi was working well on each floor (because they have a router on each). The location is perfect if you are taking the bus, right in front! There is a market 2 min from there where you can buy veggies. The kitchen is well equipped and big. The owner is helpful and knows the city very well. There are a lot of volunteers working there. There is an elevator also (8 floors), and a tv/bar/hammock section at the last floor. However, we had probably the worst room (62) because we were right below the kitchen. All day (we were staying there mostly to rest and organize ourselves) we were hearing the draging chairs, people cooking, talking, etc etc. Even though there have kitchen hours, it wasn't respected at all. Sometimes at 1-2 am we were hearing people in the kitchen. We also found it was a bit expensive (160-180bs) per night. Overall, good location, big and comfortable room, good wifi and kitchen, but we would have probably enjoyed it more if we didn't have the room right below the kitchen.

Best hostel! The owner Borys is so nice and whole personel is 1000/ 10. Super clean as well and the view is incredible! Will be back for sure.

Very handy for the bus station. Staff competent and professional if a bit less personal than other places we've stayed. Great food on the rooftop.

Location directly at the bus station, beds are comfy, rooftop and view out of the room is nice. But cold in the room, no hot water and no plugs at the bed, pretty loud in the room.

Great rooms reasonably priced for location I paid 180 for a single with bathroom ,really comfortable ,good range of activities on offer and lovely staff . Really cool rooftop cafe . Very good kitchen you could use The price of the food was the only reservation I had , although good quality and one of the few places here a vegan could happily survive ,it seemed more expensive than some good close by alternatives, still reasonably priced by European standards If I could score reasonableness of price of food ,it would be a 3.8

One of the coolest hostels I've ever been to. Felt like a hotel with how large it is! Awesome rooftop space to hangout in, clean and spacious rooms with plenty of shelves to leave your stuff (but no locker), clean and spacious washrooms, and the kindest staff! Another positive is the fact that it's only a stones throw from the bus terminal, so those coming by bus would not require hiring a taxi. Only things I would like to add are a privacy curtain for the beds and bedside outlets.

Very nice hostel. It's well located just by the main bus terminal, making it very busy during whole day with people coming and going. The prices are also very competitive

Great location. Excellent wifi. Killer view. The staff are all lovely but the building could really do with some upgrades. Oh, and the kitchen gets crazy busy. It would be worth opening a second kitchen to guests; people stay at Rooftop to save money.

Loved this place. The dorms and rooftop had incredible views of the city. You are literally opposite the bus station and a 15 minute walk to Estation Central cable car station. The staff were all super friendly, especially Sergio and Alsen who spoke perfect English (which was super helpful with my very basic knowledge of Spanish!). The kitchen was well stocked with everything you need to cook and always spotless. If you're looking for somewhere a bit more chill than the Selina's or Wild Rover's of this world, give this place a shot!
