Having enjoyed staying at many Best Westerns before, the stay I had here was for a lack of better words, comical. When we arrived, the staff at reception stared at us until I asked to be checked in. They quickly checked us in, provided us room cards, and sent us off without any directions as to where our room was. As our suite was on the second floor, we approached the stairwell and could already tell what to expect from our stay. The second floor had children running and screaming throughout the hall, with their parents having a loud conversation outside their rooms. While we thought this would not be a problem once we got settled in our room, the noise continued for over two hours, with the door and walls providing no barrier to the noise. We left for dinner and upon our return a younger adult crowd was partying in the hallway, complete with a speaker, and yelling amongst themselves, which we could hear from the first floor. When we reported this to the front desk, they allowed them to move outside by the back entrance in the parking lot (right under our window), where the party continued. We then had to report this again to reception to which they said all they could do was ask them to be quieter. I asked if we could cancel our three-night stay, including that first night, as it was obvious we wouldn’t have a quiet stay. The supervisor told us there was nothing he could do and to call their customer help line (a 30-minute call that didn’t result in any action). When we down a third time, we learned they cancelled our remaining two nights without any confirmation, refused to let us talk to the manager, refused cancelling our stay that night, and took no further action on the group partying in the back. After multiple trips to reception, a request to cancel our stay, and indifference from the supervisor, we accepted our fate, stayed the night, and left the next morning (woken by children screaming at 7am, then vacuuming at 9am). If you’re a larger group looking for a hotel with lax noise and loitering policies, this Best Western should meet your needs. If you’re looking for a quiet place to sleep, look elsewhere.

Very comfortable bed mattresses, excellent open breakfast that few 3-star hotels are keeping, all staff very friendly and welcoming from cleaners to front desk to breakfast servers. However, our bathroom had a loose improperly fixed toilet at the base with a low round bowl model from the 1940s of the last century, I wonder how the bathroom was renovated and still keeping such an antique fixture not suitable for humans of the 21st century... As this is an American franchise,.be aware of large groups of student adolescents who flock from time to time, and who might ruin a night's sleep with animal-like behavior in common areas (loud knocking on doors and walls, pool trash) without accountability nor discipline, like what happened to us at twice in a single fay/night and ruined the experience; but I guess large groups are hotel favorite customers, which they suck on.

No microwave in the room, so I had to switch hotels. I was working nights and there's no stores or food delivery available when I got off work, so I'd go to bed hungry. I asked for a microwave or to switch rooms (coz some have them), but they said my rate didn't qualify. They offered a shared microwave in the common area. I added a pic of that disgusting thing so y'all can see what they wanted me to heat my food in. The breakfast room and staff were great, but only one person at the front desk was kind and apologetic to me. A co worker of mine who was not working nights also moved to another hotel as his room was not cleaned after multiple requests. All the ice machines and pop/snack machines are out of order. The staff just advise you to go to the store next to the hotel (which is very close). I posted a video of the sound the water was making in my room. I fixed the issue myself because I flew in late, and the noise would surely bother my neighbors. There were other issues but that's so I remember now. I've never had an issue with a beat western hotel, but this place is going downhill. I would not stay again.

Had some really loud construction the first morning !!! Not good after driving all day and arriving after midnight... I mentioned it to the front desk, they were like oh well.... But after that its was fine, comfortable beds, polite staff and great breakfast !

Best Western Brossard have completely ripped me off. I booked a hotel for next July, confirmed my reservation and received confirmation from both the hotel and Expedia. The original reservation was for approximately $175/night, and I booked 2 rooms for the F1 race weekend. About 5 hours after I booked it, I received an email saying my reservation was a "mistake" and it was cancelled. I was told I needed to reconfirm my reservation and resubmit the request. However, instead of $175/night, the new rate was $975/night !!!! I called to ask for them to honor my original price, which they refused saying it was a "mistake from Expedia, and the rate was inaccurate". I booked when F1 released their schedule, and because I booked before Best Western changed rates I am being punished now. Shame on this whole organization. I was told the rates weren't accurate to Best Western rates, my question is, when are Best Westerns usually $975 a night? Is it common? Do you always charge nearly $1000 a night? The Royal York Montreal charges $1000 a night, why would I ever pay Best Western $1000 a night? I have been waiting for a manager to call me, and I still haven't heard from them. Beware booking at Best Western, if there is a local event that is scheduled THEY WILL cancel your confirmed rate and ask you pay 5x the normal rate. If you don't, they don't seem to care. Shame on this hotel and organization.

We chose this hotel for its location, and paid a premium (for a busy weekend in Montreal) assuming we could count on the Best Western brand. I had scanned reviews first but looking back, most reviews are more than a few years old. Things have changed. Hallway carpets are new but room amenities are worn (eg lamp switch didn't work, usb plug broken, air conditioner ancient and loud). A strong smell, like dirty socks, immediately hit me when I opened the door to our room. Friends staying in the hotel had similar problems, complaining of dampness and bathroom sinks that don't drain properly. So my request to change rooms (which staff wouldn't accommodate) likely would not have helped. All vending machines and ice machines are out order and seem to have been for some time. Breakfast was ok but overall, the value does not match the cost of this hotel.

Had booked and reserved a room months in advance. Was informed later they gave away my room to someone else knowing it had been previously reserved (assuming to get more money). Tried placing me in a sister hotel which I verified was of a lesser value, not willing to compensate for the inconveniances nor the price difference. Untrustworthy staff and policies. Would not recommend booking.

It was a nice place to Stay with the kids. The rooms were cozy enough. The hotel staff were warm and welcoming. The breakfast had plenty of options to choose from. It was a 15 min drive to notre dame basilica . Overall very happy with the stay.

I’m here for a group tour and absolutely disappointed. First I have to remove coffee machine to make a space due to the wall electrical problem. Meaning no electrical outlet except only one to plug our 4 gadgets. It’s good there’s one also behind the bedside table and that I found only two available. Two it says also SMOKE FREE HOTEL well once I enter I smell CIGARETTE SMOKE means the door way out is NOT SEALED. THREE all of us complaining about steam inside the washroom means the exhaust fan is not working properly. The exhaust fan is running but steam from the shower is not moving out. Its time to sleep here’s the devastating part if you use the sheets up to your neck you can smell human smell we turn the sheets same smells means they don’t change the sheets for the coming guests. Rectifying all the four I mentioned everyone is happy and more comfortable staying in this hotel. I did this review for the sake of others coming to this BEST WESTERN BROUSSARD. REVIEWS makes your hotel achieve higher ratings thanks.

I really liked this facility. It was new, clean, bright, and had good vibes. The staff was polite, smiley, and helpful. Our room was super clean and we liked the breakfast too.

A conveniantly located motel-style hotel. Very clean and probably newly renovated. Fresh and modern decorations. Nice indoor pool. Great breakfast!

Upon arrival at 9 pm, very tired from a long trip, after checking in and bringing in the heavy suitcases, we found out that the elevator is not working. So, we asked if we can get a room downstairs. The front desk person ( Mr. Maurice) said that the downstairs rooms are most expensive! We said fine. Then he said , he will give us a "Luxuru Delux" room. We went in the room and it was not a luxury deluxe room. He lied. There's no Hydration Station in the hotel and they charge you for water. Everything about the hotel belongs to 40 years ago. I have traveled for the last 50 year's extensively in the USA and worldwide, and I can honestly say they don't deserve the name "Best"western.

Wonderful place to stay if you are visiting Montreal! Not far from the city with ample parking, amazing hot breakfast (eggs & sausages were the best), English speaking personnel. Did not end up using the fitness or the pool, but saw others enjoying it, so give it a try if you have time. I liked to location of the hotel as well. There were few restaurants walking distance away, pizza, arcade and few other places nearby. Great, comfortable beds, plenty of pillow and clean shower. Won't be disappointed if you stay at BW Brossard!

The hotel authorized on my credit card their security deposit the day prior to our check-in although their site says the $100 security deposit is taken at check-in. This caused a lot of confusion with the Best Western we were staying at prior. If you are going to be a hotel that takes the deposit a day in advance kindly advise. The front desk staff washed their hands of it and pointed the blame to Best Western International Policy after arguing with me about it. Disappointed.

Although there were mixed up in the reservations, the frontdesk personnel was able to add another room as requested. The hotel has complimentary breakfasts, an indoor pool, and an exercise room with weight machine, varoius machines for joggers, cyclists etc. It is close to restaurants and groceries stores.

Staff is lovely. Room was clean. But holy mother of god. Both nights I stayed here, there was a lot of noise. The first night was construction. The second night was snow removal. I am writing this at 1am because it just passed the window. It's not even snowing right now. Worst is, it stopped snowing at a reasonable hour so this could have been done when people weren't trying to sleep (if this is even part of the hotel). If not, then the hotel is just unfortunately located so close to a lot of noise.

Very good choice. It is not a 5 star and that's why I am giving it 4 but no complains. Rooms were clean (wish they had more toiletries in terms of quantity as the bottles were so small that they were like 3 drops) and we were 3 people. I usually do bring my own things just in case so we used our own. Comfy beds, nice AC. Staff was pleasant upon arrival. Next morning there were 2 and they seemed distracted and rushed. Very nice breakfast with lots of choices. The only thing that I did not like was the elevator. I was a bit scared as you have to press the button all the time and I was afraid of being stuck and not doing it right. The hotel has several places close to grab a meal. We went to the one recommended by the staff and it was good Hotel is also a few mins away main distractions in Mtrl.

Clean rooms, great front desk service, nice selection for the breakfast, not enough seats for the number of patrons the hotel can receive, parking spots are limited to the number of rooms, if theres an a few oversize vehicles good luck getting a spot.

Second stay at this hôtel in a few years. Extremely disappointing experience. My room was only cleaned for the first time after my third night at this property. Also, there was no shampoo when I arrived. Finally, the desk chair in my room was in terrible condition with the armrest broken/broken and in dire need of replacement. I mentioned all of this twice to the staff at the front desk and no one did anything. Nobody cared. In addition, the rooms are looking dated and could benefit from a facelift. Bathrooms are in good condition but very little space to store toiletries by the sink. I will never stay at this establishment again. Truly a disappointing and unpleasant experience. I cannot recommend the Hotel Brossard to anyone.

What an absolute horrible place this is . I am a platinum member with best western hotel for years and made a booking at this location on the wrong date so I called to rectify my reservation and was told that my room would now cost $300 because it falls on a Saturday. I have spent thousands of dollars with this hotel brand and this is the thanks I get for being a loyal customer. I called the main reservation number on my card and was told that every hotel is independently own . So what’s the point of dealing with these people if you can’t get arbitration. Screw this place . I’ll stay at the Hilton.and by the way this hotel website claims the rooms at $166 per night ( not $300 ) this is total false advertising. The manager claims this is industry standard. That’s bull . I canceled my original reservation 2 weeks in advance. I have built my business with best western in Ontario because they are fair and always treated me with respect not extortion.

Very old hotel, the elevator is so out dated, had to hold the button all the time until to the second floor, if released, it would stop at the middle. Room was fine. Service was actually good. Served good breakfast.

The hotel is excellent for the price. Don't expect Hilton of Sheraton rooms or services, but it is an excellent economic choice. The rooms are clean. The beds are decent and sheets crisp. The pool is not that large, but the water is clear and towels are provided. There is a patio next to the pool. Included breakfast is good with the standard variety of eggs, bacon, hash browns, cereal, yogurt, fruits, etc. There is no waffle maker though. Free parking. About 20 minutes drive to/from downtown Montreal which doubles during rush hour. Lots of shops and restaurants within walking distance. Overall a relatively good hotel at a decent price and within proximity of Montreal.

An excellent hotel with services and restaurants very conveniently located. Appreciate the free parking and the hot breakfast offered the guests. I hope the pricing does not get out of hand as it has with many properties post Covid. This is an excellent choice for a hotel stay when coming to the greater Montreal area!

I left my purse there and only realized it at home in Toronto. I want to thank you the hotel staff: Leslie for finding the purse and Allie Harris for taking the effort to mail it to me!!!! Thank you so much! Other than that the stay was very good: clean room, good beds and bedding. Extra bonus is having parking spot right in front of your room if you are on the first floor!

Beds were very cozy, and bathroom was clean, but there was quite a bit of dust in the room. Hot and tasty complimentary breakfast was provided and the staff were very friendly. 20 minutes or less from downtown.

Overall stay at the hotel was great. The food looked good but didn't taste as great. The pool was wonderful and nice but cold! Their check list of breakfast was confused and need to be upgraded.

An excellent stop on our family roadtrip from Ontario to Nova Scotia. The room was as expected, clean and properly stocked. We chose this location because of the included breakfast. The breakfast operation was fantastic! Spacious room, and an order window where staff prepare your food selection. Great idea! It prevented guest congestion in the breakfast area... Which was very refreshing to see!

Best continental breakfast ever!! The bed was incredibly comfortable, everything was clean and spotless, and the customer service was excellent and attentive. All workers here were extremely friendly and created a positive atmosphere during our stay. Additionally, it was only 15 minutes from Montreal and near many other restaurants and stores in Broussard.

The room was good, no complaints about the cleanliness. I know the bathroom essentials are complimentary, but they could’ve included an additional bar of soap knowing that 3 people were staying for 2 nights. I read the reviews and response from the manager stating that breakfast is limited to ensure everyone gets some, however everyone gets some if they get down and order by 8 (it states the breakfast is open until 10). Came down at 9:30 yesterday (understandably on a weekend not much was left) but still were able to get some hot food and coffee (no creamers were left or milk, and no one came to check them). Many people checked out, yet next day came down at 9:20 and absolutely no hot food was left (which considering pretty much everyone that stays - orders, they should stock up to make sure they have enough). They were out of coffee, and upon the request if there was any more (given there’s 40 minutes left, and if we aren’t able to get anything hot to eat, why can’t we at least have a cup of hot coffee) were rude and snappy. I understand that the breakfast is complimentary, however if you are offering it - make sure you do a good job and have enough, otherwise better remove that option, so people aren’t let down.

The room was very nice and it has a set of French doors that open directly to the parking lot. Very convenient for loading and unloading along with coming and going. Nice pool and hot sauna, can't ask for anything more at such affordable rates.
