So as a bagel shop, 5 stars for sure, as a restaurant, I would give it a solid 4 stars. The breakfast was generally really delicious, a big amount of fresh fruit which is always welcome. My two little nitpicks would be the hash brown, that you are paying an extra for, was very thin, overcooked and not that great. The other thing would be the pricing is a small amount more expensive than comparable restaurants in the same area (still very decent compared to the main chain breakfast places though). Other than that, food was very good, service was excellent, the bagels were fresh and delicious. For sure the best bagel shop in Verdun. I do recommend it if you have never been.

It’s always nice here. Their bagels are so so good. In the morning, I was slightly running late, and was going to get an anxiety attack, but they were super fast. Their iced latte and iced dirty chai are always amazing too!

Delicious stop before heading back to Ontario. What I love most is the fresh fruit that comes with the kid's meal. Not your typical fried foods. I do suggest vegan beans but that's minor. All of the meals were perfect!

Delicious bagels. I visited your location today. Your superb customer service along with delightful menu of great selections is to be highly recommended to anyone who visits Montreal. Thank you for making this beloved and widely recognized cultural symbol - the bagels that are enjoyed by people of all backgrounds around the world.

Stopped in on a Sunday morning for takeout bagels. Real good bagel, maybe better than than you know where. Place was pretty busy for the sit down breakfast trade, obviously popular. Nice find in Verdun.

Some of the best breakfast sandwiches I’ve ever had! We went two days in a row because we enjoyed them so much. The No. 10, No. 9 and No. 4 were our favorites but the real stars are the bagels and homemade cream cheese! I also thought it was adorable that you get to chose a mug off of the shelf for your coffee - makes you feel right at home. The servers were all super friendly and polite! Lovely outdoor seating and the inside is filled with kitschy/vintage decor - including a giant Tintin poster!

A very quaint little bagel shop and sit down cafe in the heart of Verdun. The bagels are as fresh as can be, and of course they have several types of bagels. I walked in this morning and grabbed a dozen, warm tasty bagels, and made sure I tested 6 sesame and 6 poppy. I was offered some cream cheese as well and went with the sun dried tomato and bacon variety. No regrets whatsoever! I went home to have a few bagels for breakfast, and was very pleased to open the bag and have a dozen warm bagels, there was no need to use the toaster today! The bagels are cute, slightly smaller than some of the competitors but when it comes to taste and texture they are amongst the very best. A REAL MONTRÉAL BAGEL!! 🥯 I will stop by one day for brunch or something and then edit my post to add the dine-in experience.

Amazing! Such a great atmosphere and great food. A great selection of cream cheeses to go along with 3 choices of bagels. Will be making at least one more visit there. It’s out of the way of downtown Montreal a bit, but totally worth the trip to escape the traffic and noise of downtown.

An interesting place with a 'self-serve' kindda system; you get assigned a seat but you must make and pay your order at the cashier. If you want filtered coffee, you go pour yourself some. Good bagel quality and affordable place.

The eatery was a cool, yet charming place in an unexpected neighbourhood setting; a bistro of sorts, with a casual, easy atmosphere. Amazingly-delicious bagel combinations, good coffee too. I look forward to trying a lot more of their menu on my future visits.

What a wonderful surprise :The Bagel St-Lo Verdun takes casual dining to new heights! The staff make you feel welcome immediatly in a very genuine manner, and they have every kind of seating arrangement you could wish, both indoors and out. On this sunny August day I wanted to stay outdoors! They have two terraces which have just the right ambiance for both seeing the world go by and for private chats between friends or business dealings alike. The food was excellent, beautifully presented and the coffee both delightful (pick your own cup -serve yourself ;) and delicious. The whole place humms along with professional expertise, creating an ambiance of good humour with ease. This might just be the perfect café: Long may they thrive !

This is one cozy place to have a fresh bite. The coffee is one of my favorite in Verdun, bagels are always delicious. Service with a smile. The corner spot by the windows with cushions is perfect for reading/studying or just look at the rain fall on a lazy Sunday. A must go to place in Verdun.

All around, this place is a 3.5 star for me. Food is good and location is convenient for many living locally. I had the eggs Benedict with salmon and a macadamia latté for to 32$ with the 15% tip. Nothing particularly special as far as culinary delights. Coffee was a little watered down and I asked for a bit of butter for my naked half bagel and they gave me margarine. I also ordered one of their hash browns and had a very heavy oil flavour and possibly deep fried a couple times. A nice portion of fruit on the plate may depend if they are fresh. They have a different approach to serving you from behind the counter but the service is good and fast. This little spot has their own urban style. If you want to order anything, you have to do so from the counter and from there they bring your food to your table number. Family friendly especially if you are a small family as it isn’t a big place.

Super cute shop and friendly staff with reasonable prices. Unfortunately, having purchased and tasted a sesame bagel from the top 5 bagel shops in and around the GMA based on reviews I find myself very disappointed in these bagels; landing in last place by a long shot. Very doughy, lack any real flavor, and very heavy relative to others available. While there are clearly those that enjoy these bagels, it is definitely not the same style of bagel relative to the others on the list. While they are clearly homemade I can't help but compare them to the doughy bagels found at Walmart.

Delicious food and reasonable prices for the portions that you get. Service was good when it was not busy, but during rush time it was a bit chaotic. Have been here twice and will certainly come back!

Went here on the second day of our trip to Montreal and had to go back every day after! This is hands down my fav cafe. The food was simple yet delicious. The bagels are made on site and were delicious. The have amazing vegetarian options which I appreciated a lot! Also, the place is gorgeous and the staff was so helpful and friendly. I can’t wait to go back!
