Felt a bit underwhelmed at this cafe today. Service was lacking! The Asian girl working today with the orange shirt was not very friendly and made us feel not welcome. They roast so many different beans but don’t serve any pour over. We asked for a pour over but they recommended a filter which is not the same. Filter does not allow the flavor of the coffee to come through like a pour over. They only serve 1 bean for espresso and that was mediocre. It’s a nice roasting area with lots of options for bean but that’s it!

Came here on the weekend to pick up some coffee and get some fresh pastries (Dreamy event). The space is cool, warehouse like. There are soooo many coffees to choose from 🤤, I'll be stopping by often to make my way through them. When I was on the step ladder browsing the coffees, I felt like Belle from Beauty and the Beast on the library ladder, but coffee edition (I wish there was a library ladder!), I might have sang as well. Staff was nice and helpful, if they weren't sure about something they'd go and find out right away. I'm not sure if this is the case for all of them but as a bonus, the bag I picked up was a 3$ cheaper here than the coffee roaster's website since it's directly from the "source" so you also save some! Most of the bags I saw had roast dates though not all unfortunately. Most of the roast dates I noted were from about 1-2 weeks before so it's had some time to rest and ready for espresso or pour over!

Fantastic coffee. Love the smell of the roasting coffee when the wind blows it across the canal, it calls me.

Don't miss it if you are walking along the canal! Amazing coffee and they are running a beautiful roasting operation inside (for those interested in engineering/manufacturing processes)

Lovely experience on a summer morning. Roasters working in the background. Espresso at the tables outside. So many varieties of coffee to buy.

so glad we made this stop! all of the teams showed so much love and were happy to chat with a couple of eager coffee nerds about the ins and outs of roasting. also, they're dog friendly and the biscuits were insanely good!

The Canadian Roasting Society is amazing. It is a very well-organized and professional association and provides the best coffee I've had anywhere on the globe. Highly recommended.

Nice coffee both in the cup and as beans on the shelf. Fun with so many local roasters at the same place

It's basically a warehouse where many indie roasters go to roast their beans that happens to have a small coffee stand with functional but bored service. Sure you can find maaaany bags of coffee there but to grab a cup is meh. Baristas are bored, the staff feels hovering onto other planets. Maybe it's also the roasters doing part of their deal to also take turns in serving coffee? They should work more on their coffee stand. It's a little depressing.

Okay hear me out. You need to go to this place ASAP ! The brownies are crazy, the staff is helpful and you can’t go wrong with a bunch of coffee geek that know how to brew a good cup of coffee and help you brew one at home ! Best brownies I’ve ever had, really good roast choice. Incredible decoration, I’m glad I entered in here randomly ! Added a pic of one of the many delicious roast they were selling.

An awesome find while driving slowly on St. Patrick Street on a crazy rainy day. Despite arriving less than 10 minutes before closing, the barista was very helpful and served up a great café latte. The cookies were extremely good and there are many choices of coffee beans to buy from local cafés who roast here. All in all, a very good café to frequent in the future!
