Nice place to have a drink or even dinner. Food and cocktails are great the only downside is the price... It feels like home in Switzerland 😂

One of my favourite beaches in all Dominican Republic, the water is nice and clear, which gives you a relaxation vibe. It’s nice and not too crowded, the sand it’s clean and beautiful with almost not rocks at all. You can get nice views at any given time, the day I went, was a little cloudy but the beach was beautiful. There’s a lot of people from deferent countries which can help you make more international friends. Love it!

The beach club is immersed in a tropical beachfront landscape, offers sweeping views of the Caribbean Sea, and unquestionably one of the best sunsets on the island. Discover the expansive pool deck with its infinity pool, enjoy specialty house cocktails at the ocean-view bar or delight yourself with a memorable meal at the restaurant.

Casa de Campo. What can you say? Love it or leave it. I come to the DR since 1999 and CdC always progressed. We Love it. Too Expensive? Yeah so what - the grounds are amazing, and its just Beautiful. You wont find anything much better around. And it was founded by an Austrian from Vienna, like me..;)) wikipedia - Charles_Bluhdorn After he died this place together with the Central Romana Sugar Mill was sold to the Fanjuls, 4 brothers originally from cuba. The construction of the new family pool on the other side of the beach entrance should also be finished by now. We will check it out next time. Here you can always keep up to date what's going on: casadecampoliving [dot] com Beside Minitas Beach you have the Marina, Altos de Chavon and the Main Pool. Many Sports and others Activities. Be aware: This place is huge, and the beach in contrast quite small - but exceptionally beautiful. This is not like the typical Punta Cana AI Experience, but quite different. At least the Drinks are much better...;)) - Besides You have Space, and if you avoid main seasons, its never crowded. One could also say: this is simply a different level. You will feel a little like on Billionaire's Row or a gated Community in Miami, Florida. Many elderly wealthy americans, as from the picture book. It's said this is not the typical DR, and somehow its very True. The towns name is La Romana, but this place is so different, that the upper class People from Santo Domingo say we go to 'Romana' when they come here for Weekend. And even polo is played here. Without a car or golf cart you get nowhere. If you want to be part of it, you come by helicopter anyway - after you parked your private jet at one of the airports nearby. ;)) Also the normal Rooms are not even close to the Pool or the beach. And yes, there are connecting doors, in case you Take 2 rooms Next to each other. And yes, unfourtunitly the walls are Thin, and through that door you can hear the neighbours noises. If you are Lucky there is none. But to avoid this you could still rent or buy a Villa: casadecampore [dot] com [Starting from 400.000 up to 20 Mio $] Many People do, and not always only the noble ones. Sometimes they use drug money, and get busted when tons of cocaine are found in a Villa or on a Yacht. Also money from famous bribary and corruption cases might find its way to buy homes here. Other Guests might be (ex-)presidents, billionairs or famous pop and Sport stars. So expect some interesting neighbours. And yes, you will realize the still existing Race and Class barriers here: the typical Villa owners will be quite white, and the staff or Nannys propably black. If you can live with all this, can afford it and accept it, you will have a great time. What they write on their Web page is very true: "half a century of luxury, and still somehow a well- kept secret." I somehow just ran into it, too. And always am happy to come back. Because: CdC - what else? Find this and other places like this here: lhw [dot] com If you like CdC you might also like these places in the DR, are on the same level: Punta Cana Resort & Club puntacana [dot] com Cap Cana capcana [dot] com Playa Grande - Amanera aman [dot] com amanera Casas del XVI - Santo Domingo casasdelxvi [dot] net

Beautiful beach and superb service, although food there is actually hit or miss. Paella that we had there recently was really burnt and not edible. Other dishes were decent but still not at par with some other places in the area like Tracadero or Esmeralda Beach Club.

Man-made beach in the fabulous Casa De Campo (La Romana) definitely worth a visit, but it can become uncomfortably busy very quickly. The restaurants are great, and the adult is definitely worth a dip with its infinity view of the beach.

Blue skies, turquoise blue water, very calm. Service is excellent, security and customer service people do a great job. They always get you the best spot with your chaise longue, table and parasol, the closest or farthest from the water as you wish. If you prefer swimming pools there are 2 in the beach. The juices from the juice bar are addictive.

Beach was beautiful, however, service was not good by any stretch. Many young employees that preferred chatting amongst themselves as opposed to actually doing their job. I was at the pool and went to the bar to order drinks for 3 people and myself and asked if they can be brought over, I was told I needed to order with a server at the pool. Couldn't find a server to attend me and when I saw them they were huddled up joking around and when asked for drinks they said go to the bar. Aside from service the beach and pool themselves were great.

Terrible service, and terrible amenities. A $20 pizza and a $14 salad with table water is $75. Got sick from the dinner. The hostess could care less about seating us and more about their own conversation. Oh, and don't get me started on trying to close out my bill with a card. It was pulling teeth to get a receipt, which did not list charges. But like any issue I had, when I discussed this with guest services it was somehow my fault., which when reading the reviews of this establishment seems to be a reoccurring theme.

We came here for lunch every day and could not get enough of the food. There are so many amazing bits of Spanish cuisine to try out, including a couple flavors of paella which is traditionally a popular choice. Highly recommend the Arepas appetizer. The main seating area also has a direct ocean view, which makes for a relaxing and scenic atmosphere. The neighboring pool is adults-only, and also has its own bar right next to it.

The view was great and so is the beach. Relaxing and friendly. It’s a quiet beach, perfect for families. However the only thing that let me down was the food. The choices were not the best and quite lacking and it also took quite a long time for the food to come. I expected from a place like this for the standard to be higher but maybe my standards were too high. Although i would definitely recommend going to the beach for the great views.

Our last night here on property and we wanted to enjoy some great food . Location, food and the service were great. Only "bad" thing was that the restaurant did not play any Spanish music at all. The music made us feel that we were at a regular restaurant near some beach back home in FL. The atmosphere was off. The food is great enough to come back.

Terrible service. I ordered a gyro it came disgusting and soggy I could not enjoy it. I asked the waiter to bring me something different…I’m assuming he forgets to bring it so I left starving. At the end He then came to me and said he couldn’t take off the gyro. I asked to speak to the manager because it’s not ok to pay for something I didn’t eat and when I spoke to the manager he accused me of eating it and gave me such terrible service. I’m guessing he also assumed I didn’t speak Spanish and was trash talking with another employee infront of me.

Lovely beach with great service. Plenty of chairs that the staff will clean with disinfectant and secure your towel. Add an umbrella and small table if desired. Great breezes, clear water with minimal waves. Beach and Bar service available. I wish I was still there! Stay at Tres Palmas Villa for a magical Casa de Campo vacation!

Great views, especially during evening hours. But wasn’t very impressed with quality of food. It didn’t match up to the cost. I ordered a burger and it ended up being very salty.

Nice ambiance, great food, vegetarian options and good dishes for meat, pasta and fish lovers. Drinks are perfect for every occasion, just chilling by the sea or intimate dinner under the moonlight.
