Bought frozen hamburger meat, when I came home and de-froze to use it was rotten, literally green! and smelled so bad. Careful with buying meat or dairy here.

Jumbo is my go to place. They have a wide variety of food products and good quality meat. It's not just a supermarket, you can find banks, pay your light bill, hair salon, local phone providers (Claro & Orange) and other. Thet have a large food court (Jade Teriyaki, Pollo Victoriana, Burger King, Pala Pizza, Cafe Santo Domingo and Bon Ice cream) and Jumbo kitchen sells local Dominican food. The only other note is that its pricey!

This place was excellent. Like american walmart but better. Well stocked and had plenty of choices. Also had many checkouts open. This place could teach walmart a few things

Great assortment incl excellent ribeye steak but bag packers asking for tips was annoying

The store is good overall, but with all the high prices on all the products, why can't the store pay salary to the packing guys? They are very persistent and keep approaching me offering to pack my groceries while I am still shopping. They also then demand tips saying that they work there only for tips and are not getting paid with salary otherwise. When they pack, 2 guys pack the groceries, so both of them need tips, not just one.

Yeah I love it here, I heard is little more expensive and for me the convenience of find everything in one place doehave price. I hate to drive around to save 2 dollars. I don't have time for that.

Why pay double or triple for something in port when you get it at local prices at Jumbo La Romana. A big supermarket with a pharmacy, a vitamin store, and a cafeteria. Great place!

They had 10 containers of this yogurt on the shelf but when I tried to check out they said it wasn’t for sale. They sent an associate like they were going to figure something out then 15 minutes later still said they couldn’t sell it to me. Complete idiots.

Wonderful supermarket, great prices, selection that rivals anything in the USA, full food court, bank, cellular store, everything you could ask for. Their fruits and vegetables arrive fresh at the beginning of the month so make sure you're there on time!

Great products. Every rhing you may need

It has all of the commodities you'd expect from a grocery store, and they are relatively clean with all things considered. Some downsides are how few lines are open during rush hours, causing long and clustered lines to buy your items. There meats would sometimes be not up to expectations, leading me to go elsewhere to get my meats.

Clean and good quality but careful everything is over price. If you can go to other nearby vendors
